Shakoor is one of the best driving instructors ever! Today I passed my practical in a manual car on my first attempt! He’s been nothing but supportive, informative and patient. Instead of just pointing out your faults, he genuinely cares to improve them and turn them in to your strongest points. I would highly recommend you take your lessons with him!

I used to be a very nervous learner. Shakoor took time and a lot of patience to mould me into a confident but safe driver I am today. The way he teaches, and his explanations makes driving very simple and easy, from the first lesson with him you can see he has a passion to teach and enjoys what he does. From when you meet him you can see for yourself its never about the money with him, he’ll always be honest and direct. I could not recommend him enough.

I highly recommend this driving school. I received driving lessons in 2021/2022. They were tailored to my specific needs (as someone with experience driving, but not here) and very helpful. There is no way I would’ve passed the practical without these lessons despite having decades of driving experience. The instructor was patient, well informed, and has nerves of steel (I mean, do you really want me to be the person driving you through that tunnel?). He also helped me cultivate a healthy perspective on the process and is very pleasant to talk with (you are stuck in a car together for hours, so this is important)! Thank you so much for sticking with me on this. I am *so pleased* that I passed my test and can legally drive now!

Shak is a very experienced and patient instructor. He pushes you to improve but in a nice way that makes you as a driver feel comfortable and confident with your progress. I started my lessons on July 3rd and passed today which is just a little over 3 months from when I started, so this was quite quick considering the delays COVID-19 has caused. Overall, I would highly recommend any reader to use A.R.T School of Motoring for either manual or automatic lessons to ensure a safe an enjoyable learning experience.

I couldn't have asked for a better instructor! As someone who is a nervous wreck who thinks 100mph, from my first lesson the difference in communication helped me understand and learn things a lot faster than I did with past instructors who weren't really bothered about progress. Shakoor was a wonderful driving instructor, who taught me the skills I needed throughout my learning experience. Before many lessons, especially at the beginning, I was incredibly anxious, however Shakoor was reassuring when teaching me. I can’t express how grateful I am to Shak for all of his help. After a bad experience with a previous driving instructor, I had lost a lot of confidence with my driving. Shak is patient, flexible and knowledgeable and I always felt at ease while learning with him. I was so happy with A.R.T that I traveled 2 hours from London to do my test with them in Birmingham instead of moving instructors. I highly recommend, they are by far the best in Birmingham!
