After hearing that multiple members of my family had passed first time with Independent Driving, I chose to go with Independent Driving without hesitation. I chose to go with Martin who had taught the rest of my family. I had heard amazing things about him from his pass rate to his sense of humour. I wouldn't hesitate to go with Martin again in the future if I was in need of any help and would strongly recommend him as your instructor as a great way to learn. From the very beginning on my first day of driving a manual car, I was straight out on the roads with the help of Martin who helped me build my confidence. Martin always pushed me to do things when I was hesitant to do so which brought me to where I am with a first time pass.

I was recommended Darren as a driving instructor when I was looking to change driving schools, and I am so grateful I did. As a nervous driver, Darren’s confidence in my driving skills meant that coming to lessons was fun and enjoyable rather than stressful. He took the time to explain, and re-explain, concepts to me that I couldn’t get the hang off. His methods of teaching meant that I felt 100% ready when it came to do my test. I could not have passed first time if it wasn’t for the friendly, patient and relaxing environment that he created every lesson. I could not encourage anyone more to go with Independent Driving School. If you want to confidently pass and enjoy driving, you cannot go wrong with this driving school.

I passed my test first time with Karen, from Independent Driving. Originally, I was with a different driving school but I didn’t feel comfortable with him in the car, so I asked my friend which driving school she was with, as she passed first time and had lots of positive things to say about her instructor. She said Independent Driving were great so I called them up and booked my first block of 10 hours with Karen. Karen was a great instructor and I will miss early Saturday morning driving lessons with her. She made me feel calm and confident with my driving as when I first started, I wasn’t confident with how the car worked. I felt confident going into my driving test as we had already done a couple of mock tests to prepare me for the real one. When the examiner said that I’d passed, initially I was shocked as I didn’t think I had because I STALLED during my test, but then I was so happy when it sunk in as I knew I now had freedom! Two hours after I passed, I drove to work. I got insurance as soon as I got home and taxed my car and drove to work! It wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be as I was so prepared to start driving. I would highly recommend Independent Driving, but more specifically Karen, as I always felt comfortable in the car with her and she was so lovely. Also, she helped me pass first time. Some advice for the test; don’t panic, it isn’t as hard as you think it is. Just drive like you normally would and if you do something wrong, don’t panic and put it right.

I heard about Independent Driving School when asking my friends for recommendations and who they had passed with. Due to only hearing positive feedback and reading great reviews, I made the final decision to go with Independent Driving School. I had Adam as my instructor and I felt really comfortable and at ease with him in my lessons. He was a great instructor as he was very friendly, had a good sense of humour and was incredibly patient with me - specially as the majority of my lessons were after I finished a working day of 9-5. I was incredibly nervous this morning before taking my test and Adam was so helpful for trying to keep my nerves in check. I would fully recommend him and Independent Driving School to anyone who wants to learn to drive.

I passed my driving test first time thanks to Adam from Independent Driving. I chose them because loads of people who went to my school also passed first time and the reviews were helpful to choose the best instructor. Once i had learnt to drive Adam showed me all around Poole and areas that were difficult which was incredibly helpful because on the test I knew exactly where I was. Adam was amazing at fitting me in after lockdown and I wouldn’t have had the confidence to pass first time if it wasn’t for him. I really would recommend Independent driving school to anyone.

My instructor was Adam, and thanks to him I was able to pass first time with only 1 fault. When looking for a driving instructor quality was the most important factor. When we saw independent driving school had pretty much 5 stars across the board we knew that it would be a great option. Lessons with Adam were very relaxed and enjoyable and the his teaching was very thorough and easy to understand and any mistakes were clearly explained with a good explanation on how to correct them. would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to start their driving journey

The main reason I chose to go with Independent Driving School is because I already knew of a few people who had previously passed with Adam and only had good things to say about him. I had previous driving experience from a previous instructor however I have learnt a lot more since being with Adam. My lessons were always enjoyable, never a chore and i was made to feel at ease from the first day and my confidence grew and grew. Adam was very patient with me and always took his time to explain things and go over certain things that needed more work. I will definitely be recommending him to anyone and everyone!

I was recommended independent driving school through my friends and boyfriend. I had Adam as my instructor who was incredibly fun to learn with, with a relaxed attitude and very reassuring. Very encouraging and supportive throughout my lessons and test. Even though it took me while to pass my theory, I passed my test first time with only 10 lessons with Adam! The car was easy to grasp, with interesting features such as the ‘hold’ break and rear parking camera, in which I found incredibly useful!I would highly recommend independent driving school to anyone who is learning to drive for the first time!
