My situation required a bespoke refresher lesson after not driving a number of years and then buying a car. AJS Driving school show so much flexibility and open mindedness and provided a top-notch lesson. I really felt that Adam (the instructor) had listened to me and understood the kind of lesson I wanted. This was all very calm, instructive and professional. I am happily driving now! Definitely worth dropping them a text!

I’ve had a few driving instructors in my time but Adam is clear of everyone by a landslide in terms of properly explaining mental processes of how to approach driving as well as the physical side. I actually loved doing his lessons and they never felt like a chore like some driving lessons do mainly because he has an unlimited supply of banter and he’s the perfect example of the balance of entertainment whilst learning. Definitely recommend Adam to anyone that is interested in learning because Adam got me up to scratch very fast and I passed my test after only a few months. Obviously everybody is different but I learnt the fundamentals very fast.

Great driving instructor that teaches you everything you need to know from the basics to the complex while also having a decent laugh about life. He pushes you to improve every lesson. If you wanna pass first time and quick then go with Adam. He won’t let you down, he actually wants to see you pass first time and as soon as you’re ready.

Adam is very keen to see people pass, I could see this from the get-go. He was happy to take me on board after I'd had several lessons with a previous instructor and needed further support, teaching and guidance in passing my test - which I did first time. Adam is good at explaining how the car mechanisms function which helps you understand how your actions affect the car movement. Highly recommend.

I had previously failed two driving tests with a different instructor in which I had loads of faults, I gave up on driving for about a year until I gave it another shot with Adam and I'm really glad I did. I literally knew nothing about cars as I grew up in a household without a car but Adam explained everything and I felt comfortable asking him anything I didn't know and he checked to see if there was anything I wanted to practise or felt uncomfortable with. I passed first time I tried with Adam and I feel really confident driving around by myself now. Adam is a really fun instructor who makes you feel safe driving, you get more than an amazing instructor with Adam, you get a comedian, a therapist and confidence builder too! I can't recommend Adam enough, I think he's easily the best instructor around.

I have been having lessons with Adam for a couple months now & find him to be a patient & encouraging teacher. I hear stories of instructors making students feel like they need more lessons as it would be in their interest to be paid more, but with Adam I feel he genuinely has your best interests at heart & has always encouraged me to push myself. I would recommend this guy to anyone, our lessons are relaxed but informative making them really enjoyable!

Fab instructor. Before I started my driving lessons I was very nervous about being behind the wheel however Adam made me feel very comfortable with driving. Very encouraging, calm and patient which I feel is really important when you are looking for a driving instructor. Was able to pass in a short amount of time because of that. Would 100% recommend! Adam was a really excellent instructor. He was patient and has a talent for making you feel comfortable when driving. He was very meticulous with constructive criticism and what i needed to improve on, but he also praised me on what went well which was encouraging. He taught me at the right pace, in my opinion. I had Adam as my driving instructor. He's brilliant at identifying your flaws and focusing on them in order to move passed them. It took me 3 times to pass my test but he stuck by and never gave up on me, he took me through everything I struggled on and focused on it until I overcame it. That being said, he's also a damn great person to just be around; he's made every lesson of mine enjoyable and weird or just plain entertaining. A damn fine teacher and a damn fine friend is what I say. A solid 10/10 for me and I would recommend him to anyone.

Adam is an amazing instructor! Not only does he teach you the ins and outs from easy to complex but he fills you with confidence, helps you understand your faults and ensures you understand the mental process of how to correct them. As well as being an ace instructor he's a sound guy, up for a laugh, light hearted conversation and doesn't put any pressure on you. Improvements lesson to lesson and a PASS on test day. Couldn't recommend enough!
