One of the best ....I now have my car thanks to Mark always professional and works around the learner taught me so much and was sad when I passed tht I wouldn't be doing weekly test highly recommend for any one seeking automatic lessons can't praise enough

Mark is a great driving instructor. He is very professional and doesn’t only teach you to drive for the driving test but teaches you how to drive safely for life. In my five months with Mark, he taught me how to be a better driver, a safer driver, and taught me things outside the scope of the test that would be useful to me for when I pass. I just recently passed my test after having mark as my instructor for a long time. Mark was always extremely patient, calm and he focuses a lot of self reflection and this really helped me fix mistakes or bad driving habits I had within minutes! The thing I found most helpful though was that Mark doesn’t just teach his students to pass a driving test, but he teaches them to do this and beyond this: he taught me skills to also help in my post test driving. Can’t reccomend enough. :)

I am still learning to drive (automatic) and haven't even taken my Theory Test yet, but I felt compelled to say that Mark is the best instructor one could ever have. I asked for him specifically to be my instructor after knowing someone who passed their test first time and I am so happy I did. He is patient, understanding, friendly, funny, knowledgeable, attentive, caring and he makes you feel safe and at ease. As I have a few demons to overcome during my learning to drive, I thought it could be helpful to also attend the classroom lesson and I am glad I did. It does help you see the bigger picture of what is involved in driving and how our attitude affects our driving and that of others, and how we are also affected by people's driving. It ended with an eye-opening VR simulation and overall I think that if everyone had this lesson/discussion, roads and their users would be safer. Unlike what's out there, with Caledonian you set your own goals, which makes the process personal and therefore I'd say more effective. You have all the guidance and support you need to achieve your goals, but it is you who is in control. You'll also feel that you're not just preparing to sit the test, but to be a responsible driver for life. Thank you, Mark, for being wonderful and just what I needed to face my fears and finally get behind the wheel.

I would highly recommend Mark. I passed on my first attempt although I was very nervous and I have bad record at practical exams in general. Mark’s approach is to let you take control of the goals and objectives for each session. It involves preparation (reading or watching youtube videos) ahead but it helps a lot during the practice drive/lesson. He is also calm, patient and safety-focused (for you as a driver and those around you).
