Great experience learning to drive with Chris, passed my test first time . Very friendly, down to earth and very patient. lessons were fun but with a very methodical way of teaching you how to drive, always discussed in depth my strengths and weaknesses before and after every lesson (previous instructor never did this) 100% recommend Chris if your wanting to learn how to drive. I had refresher driving lessons with Chris and wad a great experience. Chris is a great instructor and made sure that I met all my learning objectives to go back into driving. Although i had little driving experience, the lessons with Chris have given me the confidence to go back to driving regularly. Chris is very professional and funny too! I would recommend Cone Heid Driving to absolutely anyone looking to learn how to drive! Having had previous lessons 10years ago that weren’t successful I was anxious about starting again - however, Chris cleared all those anxieties quickly! He is a great teacher that completely put me at ease, he is very structured in his approach and takes time to discuss any areas that require more practice and ways to achieve it, always ensuring to celebrate the successes of the lesson as well! Chris is friendly and a great laugh, and thanks to him I got my first time pass! I would truly recommend him to anyone!

Chris is a really great driving instructor and I can't recommend him enough! He does a great job of helping you work through your weaknesses and learning from them. I had my license in another country and was quite nervous about driving on the other side of the road but Chris did a great job of helping me work through my nerves and learn how to be really confident on the roads here. He really goes above and beyond to help you pass and I'm sure if you take lessons with him you won't regret it!

After a 10-year break from driving lessons, with some bad experience learning with another instructor and very low confidence, I chose to go with Cone Heid and Chris and I’m so glad I did. Chris is knowledgeable, patient, clear, thorough, supportive, approachable, friendly, and everything in between that makes a fantastic instructor. I passed my driving test 9 years ago and have had very little driving experience since, with my last drive around 5 years ago, and so I was certainly in need of some refresher lessons. I was recommended Chris (Cone Heid Driving School) by a friend and so contacted him for an initial lesson. In our first lesson Chris asked which areas of driving I wanted to focus on, which was pretty much everything, and he devised a logical lesson/progression plan. Our lessons started from the fundamentals of car operation and progressed onto harder topics such as motorways, bad weather and night driving. I completed five two-hour lessons with Chris and was really pleased with my progress under his careful tuition; from struggling to pull in on a straight road to feeling confident on motorways and with parking! Chris is an excellent driving instructor. He is friendly, calm and structures his lessons very effectively. One of the things I particularly liked was his modern approach to lessons, which includes clear explanations of roundabouts/lane changes using the iPad and his own set of instructional videos which complement the lessons very well. Another point that I hadn’t thought of when looking for an instructor is that the Cone Heid Driving School car has start-stop technology and parking sensors, which weren’t common whilst I was learning to drive, and I found it really valuable to have the opportunity to gain experience using these. In summary, I would recommend Cone Heid Driving School to anyone!

Had an amazing experience learning with Chris, he is an excellent instructor and so down to earth, patient with brand new learners who have no driving experience starting off like myself and his methods of teaching are so clear and easy to follow. It doesn’t matter how long it takes you to learn, he’ll stick by you and send you great resources along the way outside of lessons, his prices are more affordable compared to competing driving schools which is great for students like me. Without him being my instructor there is no way I could have passed first time today! Thank you Chris for just being the best driving teacher oot there!

I’d recommend Cone Heid to absolutely anyone looking for driving lessons in Glasgow. Chris is a brilliant instructor, super patient and encouraging and works with you to figure out & support your best learning techniques and makes you feel in control and safe as a learner driver, ultimately preparing you for one day driving on your own. I always got the most out of the 2hr lessons, which were affordable & offered at flexible times during week and weekend which was ideal for someone working 9-5. Couldn’t be happier with Cone Heid & Chris - learned in a great car with a great teacher supporting me to a 1st time pass!
