I started training with Leicester driver training on Monday 21/03/22, for my cat C+E, from a cat B, Leicester driver training had never done a direct access before till today. I passed my CPC mod 4, reverse, un-couple/ re-couple first time and also the practical with only 5 minors, I could of never done this without the help and guidance from Leicester driver training, The instructor was always cool, calm and collected 👍🏼 I can't thank them enough. That's you for your excellent work and keep up the good work.

Keeping things short and sweet. Carl is an amazing HGV trainer, he is polite, calm, personable and extremely patient. I'm quite a nervous person (I wish I wasn't) but I felt reassured from when we first metall the way to giving me confidence before my test. If you want to drive trucks, this is your man.

Carl is 100% best instructor I'v had and I passed👌. Carl doesn't mess around and tells you to get on with it. He has a no nonsense attitude and if you make a mistake he makes sure you won't again. He even gives you a full lesson of driving and plenty of experience and advice and knowledge. I did a 5 day course ( Class 2) with Carl and every day was consistant 4 hours of driving with more driving and test on 5th day. It's the driving experience you need to pass and Carl gives you that. Thank you Carl 100% can't fault you.

On returning to HGV driving following an appeal from the government I rang round loads of driver training companies in the area for advice on the modules of CPC that I would need to do as I had passed my LGV test prior to the introduction of CPC. I had a lot of conflicting information and a lot of huge quotes to get myself up to speed and back on the road. I called Leicester Driver Training and spoke to Carl and he was just so straightforward and confirmed the modules I would need, how to book them myself to keep costs down and then he took me through my final part (CPC Module 4) with ease. He sent me all the study material a clear week before my test and then provided ample tuition before the test familiarising me with all the elements of competent vehicle operating and giving me the confidence to sail through it at the test centre. His relaxed approach and realistic attitude really put me at my ease before the test and his encouraging method of teaching was welcomed for someone like me that had lost a bit of confidence with not having driven large vehicles for a while. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone returning to driving or taking it up from scratch to contact Carl, he truly is a great gentleman who offers so much support throughout the process and he is a true asset to his vocation. Just passed my cat C today first time thanks to Carl! An excellent, well-equipped company with a patient and intuitive trainer who can get even the most hesitant drivers to a professional standard. Had a very major hiccup on my 2nd 4 hour lesson but Carl took this entirely in his stride and got me up to the standard needed in only 5 days. I needed B+E to tow a caravan. Leicester Driver Training was the best value by far, which is why I decided to contact them. Carl explained everything I would be required to And then booked me in for six hours and a test. The vehicle and trailer were of good quality and nice to drive. Carl is very friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to teach me the text book way to perform the reversing manoeuvre and the trailer couple exercise. He corrected the bad habits I had picked up over the years which would have no doubt caused me issues on the test. I would recommend LDT to anyone requiring further training.
