Ooh Becky (driving instructor) What a legend! The whole experience was beautiful! I was always nervous about driving test but this time round with Lpod i wasnt my instructor before my test got my mind off the test the whole test i was calm as a cucumber. I will highly recommend Lpod and if you’re driving in manual choose Becky!!!

I found lpod online after my previous driving instructor retired. Overall the service before booking my course was amazing and Claire, the lady I emailed, was fantastic in answering all of my questions and offering differing quotes. I will say I think I was a bit confused in what lpod actually offers and still am, whether it's a driving school or a third party that finds individual drivers and books tests for you, I feel that needs to be better explained on the website. The price is quite expensive, I won't lie, but from booking in June/July I was able to get an October 1st test date (which I passed!) that I wouldn't have been able to get myself if I was personally booking with all the waiting times due to covid. I feel it's probably better value for money if you choose to book your theory and get all the bells and whistles with that but I'd already booked mine. I was matched with a driver quickly and he was lovely! Made me feel really confident about my driving. I will say once I had booked and found a driver I didn't hear ANYTHING from lpod until after my test but my driving instructor did say they keep in touch with the driving instructors for updates on how you're getting on so don't think they've forgotten about you. Overall I did have a really good experience with lpod and if you're a full time worker I would recommend because it took all the stress off finding a driving school and found me a driver QUICK (for example a driving school I had got in touch with only found room for me until after I'd already passed.) But the price did make me wince and I'm still really confused on what the service actually is!

I highly recommend this service to everyone. No matter if you’ve got hardly any experience on the road or a lot; you will gain so much from every hour you spend on these intensives. The whole process from booking the intensive to taking my test was so smooth given the current pandemic and was not stressful at all. I had my 15 hour driving intensive with Rebecca just before my test (after being cancelled and rearranged 5 times) and it was such an amazing experience. Not only did I pass, I learned so much from her and my confidence on the road has shot up. Not only does she make you feel at ease on the road she makes the experience so enjoyable, fun and straight forward. Thank you so much Becky, from the bottom of my heart, I could not have done this without you! ❤️ Now time to get on the road 🚗

Becki was great. Excellent communication and really helpful. Helped our son pass first time following lockdown on the first day the test centres reopened! She went out of the local area to allow him to experience different types of roads, not just endlessly pounding the “test routes”. Covered Motorway driving (yes allowed since 2018)too. As parents we really felt that every base was covered and we noticed the daily improvement in confidence and road craft. I can not recommend highly enough. Thank you!

Had the best experience with Chris Knowles as my instructor! Could not recommend anyone better if you are in the Nottingham or Loughborough area. Chris is excellent at his craft, is experienced and has the skills to prove it. He makes a significant effort to make his students feel comfortable and is the best choice for anyone looking for an intensive course. Claire was brilliant on my 20 hour course. She was really easy-going and patient. She explained everything clearly and made me feel ultra-prepared for all situations that could’ve come up on test day. Would definitely recommend.

They're the best and I'm so pleased with my experience, I never doubted Becky. I trusted her driving and felt safe with her driving and teaching. I was made to feel really comfortable driving from the off, with the main emphasis being on becoming a better driver, rather than solely passing my driving test. Having failed twice previously, and not doing any driving for 1.5 years, I was a bit sceptical on trying an intensive driving course. But after the week I spent, I would fully recommend doing this with LPOD Academy :) Big thanks to Becky for helping me to pass :)

I had the most incredible time with LPod Academy. From the very beginning of the experience, when organising the course, LPod were very efficient and quick to respond to all of my questions, both on the phone and via e-mail. Naturally, it was not an easy decision to pay a substantial amount of money up front, especially when you are not aware of who your instructor will be, but once again, LPod did not disappoint. Becky was simply the best! Becky has a lot of experience as an instructor and is clearly able to cater for different learning styles. She always seemed to be comfortable in the passenger seat, which, as a brand new driver, I was very grateful for (it made me feel at ease, too). Becky answered every question I had, and she was able to provide me with reference points for each manoeuvre, rather than simply stating "you get a feel for it", which I had heard from others many times before. To break up the day, she also has some very fun driving games! In fact, thanks to Becky's professionalism and enthusiastic method of teaching, I was able to go from having virtually no experience of driving to passing my practical test one week later. After putting off driving lessons for decades, I finally succumbed. My wife and I spent a long time researching various options which inevitably included intensive courses. After many calls to various organisations (including the 'big' brands), LPod seemed the right choice. Rebecca was an excellent teacher who was very reassuring and explained things in an understandable and accessible way. After the week-long course of lessons, I felt very confident that I had been prepared thoroughly and, more importantly, that I had had instilled in me good and safe practices.
