Just finished me C+E and have to say what a fantastic team. The office team so helpful, even managed to move one day of my days at very short notice, so I could go to my daughters graduation. Genuinely couldn’t recommend Martins Driver Training any more highly! Passed my C+E test yesterday after a 3 day course and the whole thing from booking training with the lovely ladies in the office all the way through to passing the actual driving test I could not fault. Spoke to Jan on the phone to book in for training and test who initially said it would be towards the end of November which I had no problem with. She called back no less that 2 hours later and had a date in October which I was super pleased with. From the moment I arrived on Friday I was welcomed by Pam who was lovely, showed me around and explained a few things. My trainer Graham was top draw. Made me feel at ease and relaxed throughout the whole thing and is a real credit to the company. All the other staff I encountered were very friendly and always spoke. I had used another training provider for my Cat C last year and the whole experience cannot be compared. I can’t thank all the team at MDT enough and would recommend them to anyone.

Totally loved my experience with Martin’s Driving Training. Quint Smith! He is by far the best instructor anyone could ask for. He was patient, and reassured me that it would all be alright. What an amazing experience and what an amazing bunch of people. I actually passed my Class 2 4th time so if you don't pass 1st time...don't beat yourself up, it happens more than you think. The mistakes were my own however and by no means reflection on the level of professionalism, knowledge and compassion shown by the team at MDT. I actually travelled from London as I'd heard about their reputation and was astounded that it surpassed my expectations. Ian...WOW! Amazing guy and so thorough, he was my tutor and made me a truck driver so personal Thanks if you read this. Tim, Graham( he's Barry Chuckle and I'm Paul!)Quint, Jan ,Carol and those I didn't catch the name of, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU is a credit to Martin and his training school. If you're even THINKING about booking your training here, do it quickly. The waiting times are roughly a couple of months atm but still by far the shortest that I'd found. What a fantastic professional bunch. I trained for my hgv class 2 this week. The pace, content, instruction, and admin were perfect. Especial thanks must go to Rob my patient instructor and carol who both came in on a Saturday to help due to a unforseen cancellation at the test centre earlier in the week. All this and I passed so thanks again to all staff and can highly recommend this provider. Edit: Well another visit to Martin's this time for my class 1 articulated lorry training and yet again great experience. Andy was my trainer this time a great patient man with loads of experience both driving and instructing. Pace was good with just the right amount of practice for the 3a. Must confess didn't pass my 3b first time but after a couple of weeks passed with Rob assisting on second attempt so overall can't recommend the team enough. Thanks for the help to the whole team at Martin's.

As an absolute novice, Martins Driver Training guided me with advice from applying for my provisional license, providing some excellant tools for practicing and passing the theory/hazard perception tests. This then allowed me to be assessed in my actual driving (highly recommended) before commencing my C+E training, from a car license. Throughout the entire process Martins Driver Training operated in an extremely profesional, friendly manner providing information, advice and encouragement to allow me to pass on the very first attempt! All credit to everyone in the team but particularly Tim my trainer who patiently worked with me for all three days, which incidently was exactly as he predicted initially. Had my class 2 (cat C) HGV training canceled twice due to lockdowns, Martin's Driver Training have been superb! Regular communication through out keeping me in the loop on when training would restart again. Today I passed my re-test (I failed the first test due to a silly mistake I didn't do again lol and they managed to squeeze me in just over a week later). The whole experience has been amazing, all the ladies in the office have been super, all friendly and professional, great communication and very helpful. I had most of my lessons with Lee who was a true gent, patient and encouraging. Today I was with Gary who was very entertaining and really put me at ease for my re-test. To sum up... If your in Norfolk and looking to do any HGV training, car and trailer etc you won't go wrong with these guys!

Brilliant service, definitely recommend and I will definitely be returning for my CPC and most likely car and trailer license. I called up on a Wednesday afternoon and had completed 2 and a half days training and passed my test by the following Tuesday morning. The office staff were very friendly and helpful, I just had to show up and everything was sorted. Gary was very helpful and patient, he also went above and beyond to ensure I had enough practise time at such short notice by giving up his Saturday afternoon and starting early on the day of my test. Gave help and advice to get me through the theory tests, then high quality instruction to enable me to get through my PCV Practical Driving test at the first attempt. I approached Martins Driver Training after doing some research of HGV driving schools in the Norfolk Area. At short notice (a week later) they provided me with a Class 2 intensive course in which I passed first time thanks to the exceptional driver instructors who work here. Well I suppose the ground is a bit uneven where you practice your reversing BUT.... -Ridiculously prompt responses to questions from the ladies in the office. -Any questions (however stupid you might think they are) answered fully. -Great instructors who put you at ease from the beginning whatever your experience/ability. Superb! From start to finish. Have just finished 2 courses on Counter balance and Reach truck conversion course for fork lifts. Course starts with banter, tea coffee and humour to put you at ease.
