Alistair is a great instructor. Really professional and easy to get along with. I felt Alistair's teaching technique built my confidence on the road and guided me through difficult situations really well. If I made a mistake, Alistair was never judgemental or angry - we'd just talk calmly about what went wrong and practiced those situations again. I'd recommend any of my friends to Alistair with confidence.

Had been doing my lessons for a while with Alistair due to lockdown etc. But would always squeeze me in in when I asked for lessons last minute or forgot to tell him about my rotas. Felt very comfortable on lessons with him and always understood what he was telling me or asking me to do. Driving genuinely felt easy when in the car with him, best instructor ever! :)

Alistair helped me finally pass my driving test, coming to driving quite late. With COVID hitting as we were approaching test-readiness, we had to pause lessons. Once things started to open up again, he was always able to fit me in and find time to continue my training. I really liked Alistairs teaching style, letting me discover my own errors and giving me guidance to fill gaps in my knowledge. After trying 2 previous instructors, Alistair of AP Driving School was by far the best in my experience. Not only are the lessons tailored to your needs but Alistair is a genuine, efficient and a calming professional. My lessons were interrupted by the pandemic but Alistair catered to my needs. I moved to the UK couple years ago and needed to obtain a driver license. At first, I thought that given my large experience on the road I would only need couple of lessons to get used to left-hand traffic. But in quickly became apparent that my internal autopilot trained in a different road network is constantly and dangerously failing me in the UK. I must say huge thanks to Alistair, who helped me readjust and overcome my old driving habits. His friendly and thoughtful analysis and advice was also backed up by an ocean of patience and constant support. In the end I was able to pass the test on my first attempt despite multiple tricky situations encountered during the test. I highly recommend Alistair to anyone looking for a driving instructor.

Alistair is a very good, calm and motivational driving instructor. He makes you feel at ease behind the wheel and creates the best learning environment possible.
