I had a great experience with ODS and my instructor Magda. I had some prior experience but my test was postponed for many months. When it came time to test Magda helped me pass in 8 days! She was patient, explained everything clearly, and had a good sense of humor which made it a comfortable learning experience. She also fit in several lessons in a short amount of time, even one on an early Sunday morning, to ensure I had enough practice going into my test. Would absolutely recommend ODS and it’s wonderful instructors like Magda for driving lessons of any level.

I have had a rocky journey with learning how to drive and with the backlog of the pandemic it didn't help. However, once I found my instructor, Magdalena I have never been happier and more confident in driving. She's extremely helpful, is patient, looks after you and easy to talk to. Additionally, she is thorough, she will make sure to go over the places or scenarios that I had issues with, to ensure I did it until no mistakes were made. The lessons were very flexible, some with early starts and some with rush hour time, this made sure there were opportunities to meet different scenarios. My confidence grew overtime with her and I couldn't done it without her, I'm happy and proud to have passed first time! I would highly recommend ODS to anyone new or with experience!

Everything about Oxford Driving School was amazing - the woman I spoke with on the phone was very kind and super helpful, and my driving instructor, Umar, was amazing! He gave incredible advice and very clear feedback, and helped me feel very relaxed and at ease. Umar helped me prepare really for everything that showed up on the test, so I was able to go into it very confidently (and ended up with only one minor fault). He's also super encouraging and really fun to talk to! Additionally, Umar was very generous with his schedule: when a last-second practival driving test opened up for the next day, he rearranged his schedule on less than 24 hours notice so I could have 3 hours of lessons and he could take me to the test. Everything about Umar and the Oxford Driving School really went above and beyond in kindness, teaching, and enjoyment of the whole process. Could not imagine having had a better experience!

ODS, and specifically my instructor Umar Zia, were fantastic. I started learning to drive a few years ago but had my test cancelled as things kicked off in 2020. I hadn't driven since, but decided in early January to give it another go. The only way to book a test, from what I could see, involved jumping into a slot vacated by a cancellation. Because of this I wanted an intensive course that would leave me ready should an opportunity arise. Without explicitly booking such a course with ODS, Umar graciously reorganised his schedule to accommodate mine, such that I had my first lesson with him on the 15th and had passed (first time) on the 25th. That included a 7am(!) lesson on a Sunday morning. Needless to say I am very grateful, and would happily recommend them.

Mr. Umar is a great instructor. He will teach you beyond the basics of driving. He teaches you that the most important rules about driving are defensive driving and safe driving. I took about 12 lessons or so with him with ,and he is very consistent and little by little, you will see progress. During each driving lesson I felt I learned something new with him every time. He only wants you to be the best driver you can be. He has a good heart and will help you pass if you are willing to take his advice and tactics. I took my first test with another driving school and they were so bad. It took me almost two years to muster the confidence again to give it a try. With this school, I only took the driving test once and passed! Totally recommend it!

Excellent classes by my instructor Aasim Asghar. Passed my test today :-). Aasim focused more on the logics behind the traffic rules which made driving natural and fun. He was patient, for example, would take me to the same roundabout again and again until I understood the lanes and rules properly. I absolutely loved the way he instructed me. Learning to drive can be scary at first, but when you have an instructor like Umar that feeling quickly dissipates. The whole learning process was very smooth. I would definitely recommend Oxford Driving School especially my driving instructor Umar without any doubt at all! My previous instructor left the country during lockdown and left me with no choice but to find someone else as my driving test was due in a few weeks. In hindsight, I am thankful he left because then I found ODS! From the first time I enquired to scheduling my lessons, everything was smooth sailing and Umar was very kind to accommodate me and even dropped me off and picked me up at my workplace to save time! My test was rescheduled from a village in Buckinghamshire to Oxford, so the time was really short, only one week to find a instructor to teach me everything during the lockdown period. I had an intensive course with Robert (20 hours) having already done 20 hours with a previous instructor before in which I took a test and really was not confident on the road at all. Fast forward to my lessons with Robert and within 4 hours I was confident on the road and ready to pass, I failed the first test due to getting to close to a car but only 8 minors, second time I passed with 6 minors and now thanks to Robert and Oxford driving school. Prior to joining an automatic driving course with Umar at Oxford Driving School Ltd, I had some manual driving lessons from another instructor in another city. I only found out after I started my automatic driving course that I had some bad habit from my previous learning, e.g. the way I operated the steering wheel was incorrect. I've got started to practise with the instructor Umar from Oxford Driving School after trying a few other schools in the city in the summer of 2017. There are lots of positive aspects to share but first and foremost, I've passed the test with no error at my first attempt. That's mostly thanks to Umar's style on approaching the student. He takes his time at the first few lessons to analyze the characteristic of the person and then start to transfer his knowdledge and experience according to that. Technically, he teaches everythin you need not only to pass the exam but also to be a good driver. When it comes to prices, I guess it is fairly reasonable compared to the average prices at Oxford. By the way, I've realized that some of my friends have already taken course from Umar although I was not aware which indicates that Oxford Driving School is already quite popular in the area. Although they are popular and busy, Umar managed to arrange a time slot for me event at a very early time on Saturday. I was in an emergency need to get my driving license and it is unforgettable how he managed to arrange a driving lessons plan for me in that short notice period. Finally, I hugely recommend Oxford Driving School to everyone in and around Oxford City. My other family members will practise their driving lessons with Umar as well.
