I would highly recommend Sam to anyone wanting to learn driving and pass the test. He is very experienced and passionate instructor who deliver his best to guide, advise and encourage you in driving. He is also very patient when I make mistakes and turn them into valuable learning opportunities positively. He also has a foundation of driving advices and tips to make sure that you are well prepared to all road scenarios. It has been my great pleasure to have Sam as my driving instructor and mentor. What more can I say! You’re superb, Sam. I’ve been to other driving schools and felt as if I wasn’t being taken seriously, however after joining Oxon and with Sam’s help I finally got my driving license. As a teacher, it doesn’t take me long to sense a good teacher. I spotted this greatness, quality teachings, professional relations, explanation of the nitty-gritty as and when due; those and many more (taste and see yourself) are the things that made me spot the ‘good teacher traits’ in Sam from the first 15 minutes of his teachings, diagnostics of my knowledge of driving in the UK which helped me to unlearn asap. I had got a terrible experience from an unprofessional instructor who not only ruined my driving lessons but wrote me off (that I won’t pass and was money conscious). Sam’s introductory lessons was enough to revive me and give me hope to push harder to pass my test. In fact, I have not only learnt driving skills from Sam but also learnt teaching skills. I have been learning with Oxon Driving for a few months now. I had my test 2 days ago and have PASSED on my first attempt!!! My instructor JAN, was the best teacher/mentor I could have dreamed of. The way he explained everything in detail, the way he was sharing his knowledge, experience and skills made me feel I am being looked after during many hours of driving with him. He was super patient, even when I made the same mistake for the 100th time. He was extremely professional, friendly and not even once raised his voice at me. Sam has been one of the best private instructor who I had lessons with. He is patient when student made mistakes and listen the reasons for it. Sam will ask questions when student confuses about how encounters road situations. He gets good advices and tips all the way long. Sam is more than any ordinary instructor you can find elsewhere. Oxon Driving Tuitions (ODT) is the most professional, flexible, methodical and highly available driving tuition company I've ever come across in Oxford and its suburbs. They show great respect to you and an abundance of help throughout the journey to pass your exam - this was something really important to a female driver like myself. When I first approached ODT to take lessons for a UK AUTOMATIC driving test, I found that they were very professional in the way they approached me by alerting me through text messages when my lessons are planned, relevant payment information and follow-through. They had a very methodical process of handling my lessons; for instance, sending me reminders, notification and sms confirmations right after I've made payments or scheduled a lesson. In terms of scheduling lessons and updating them, ODT is very flexible and highly available. I was able to schedule multiple lessons in for a short span of time which is really great and is something very unique about ODT as opposed to other driving tuition companies in the locality. My driving instructor Sam is excellent and is the best driving instructor I've ever come across. I took UK AUTOMATIC driving lessons with Sam. He is both gentle and very patient instructor, teaches amazingly well and greatly helps you build the confidence for driving effectively. Of all the driving instructors I've come across, I felt most comfortable working with Sam and his efforts paved the way for me to pass my test quite easily. Sam's car I used to do lessons was in an excellent condition. I completed a series of lessons with Sam and I couldn't have found a better driving instructor. I am also an anxious and a nervous driver. Sam is always calm and supportive and full of driving tips. Best thing about Sam is that he is very PUNCTUAL. He is honest to his job. His instructions are very clear. His patience level is too high which really helped me during my lessons. He does understand the category of learners and deals well accordingly. One of the fine traits about Sam is that he doesn't recommend unnecessary lessons. One of the most standing out things about Sam is how flexible he is. Booking a driving test within a few weeks time currently in Oxford is highly demanding and one needs to be extremely lucky. I had lessons with Sam for 24 hours spanning over a month's period and when it came to booking my driving test, I booked a test with DVLA within one week's time. When I informed the date of my test to Sam, he was very supportive. He was flexible enough to schedule himself in with me on the day and time of the test and provided his vehicle to me to do the test. This was something that really struck me and amazed me as due to my past experience with other instructors, I knew that they would never ever schedule in with a candidate on a test date with this amount of short notice but Sam did it for me. I want to thank Sam for all the guidance and help he provided me with. Sam is a very experienced driving instructor and I highly recommend him!
