Matthew is a great instructor who helped me to pass with first attempt. I started learning driving a few years ago but didn’t complete it. And recently I decided to start again. Matthew really helped me to build confidence and it’s very relaxing to learn with him. I would definitely recommend Mathew if you are looking for a driving instructor.

Matthew is a brilliant instructor and I can wholeheartedly recommend his school for anyone learning to drive. He's very understanding when you make mistakes and works hard to fix them with you. He's incredibly friendly and it’s thanks to him I was able to pass my test first time.

Matthew is a brilliant instructor and will put you at ease when learning to drive. He is always very patient, understanding and reliable. These are hugely desirable qualities in an instructor and from past experience, I can say that these are qualities which you won't find in all instructors! Matthew takes his time to talk through and explain driving techniques/situations so that you are fully prepared when it comes to putting it into practice. I think it's great he emails you a driving log of what you have achieved in the lesson and to set goals for the next lesson; I found it helpful for keeping track of my driving progress and identify areas for improvement. If you're looking for an excellent instructor, I would 100% recommend Matthew. Thank you very much Matthew!

I've taken a number of tests before but failed numerous times with my previous instructor. I had seen no signs of improvement test after test and was just told to take them with no indication of how to improve on my faults and confidence was very low after this point. After taking a break from driving I undertook research for a new instructor and came across MPG3 Driving. The instructor Matthew understood my concerns from the very first call and from there he rebuilt my confidence and filled in any gaps that I had in my driving. Matthew gave me a massive confidence boost lesson after lesson and more importantly focused on what I wanted from each lesson. Within 2 months of contacting him I passed my test with 0 minors! Having already done circa 30 lessons with my previous instructor (who retired) i urgently needed a new instructor with my upcoming driving test in 2 months; I was still incredibly poor at my manoeuvres and consistency and had always struggled to see past the lessons as nothing more than a chore. That's where Matthew came in at the perfect time and brought a fresh outlook. He has incredible patience, a friendly and fun approach to lessons whilst maintaining professionalism on communication and keeping check of your weaknesses; which he nurtures and breaks down with you. With that all in mind I passed my driving test first time with Matthew. Highly recommend for individuals of any age and skill level. Respect him as your teacher, listen to his advice whether it be criticism or approval and most importantly take responsibility of your progression- he'll do wonders with your driving ability step by step. An incredible instructor. I was very nervous when I started learning and Matthew was fantastic at finding the right pace for me. Matthew is an excellent instructor, and I couldn't recommend him enough! He is extremely patient, knowledgable, and will always find a way to explain something if I'm unsure. I think the best aspect of his lessons was that he always pushes you to progress and work on your weaknesses by setting mini goals each lesson - and each time I was successful at something, he made a point of telling me, no matter how small the achievement was! And if something didn't quite go to plan, I liked that he always explained where I went wrong, and gave constructive feedback on how to improve. As a person, he is super easy to get along with, very friendly, professional, and I always felt comfortable asking lots of questions - he never made me feel stupid at all! I was very nervous about learning to drive but he greatly helped to build my confidence. Would highly recommend!
