I’ve absolutely loved the last few months of lessons with Darren helping me prepare for my test. An amazing instructor who knew exactly what my weaknesses were and how to help me overcome them to get me test ready. And more importantly a great guy who helped me feel relaxed and confident behind the wheel! I can’t speak highly enough of him and what he’s helped me achieve.

I had my first lesson with Daz today. I’ve had many hours with other instructors and hands down I have learned more today with Daz then I ever have with any other instructor. He explains everything in the most simple way, you can have a laugh with him and there is zero pressure, which I found made me so much more confident behind the wheel. I went from jumping in the car at Lancing test centre to practice manoeuvres etc. to driving to hickstead services at 60mph and felt no fear, it was fun and I already know I’m going to be successful with him as my instructor. Hands down the best in the game! Would recommend a thousand times over. Thanks Daz I’m booking my theory as we speak

I would have to say I will miss having driving lessons with Daz, it was something I could always look forward to, he has helped me a lot with gaining confidence and believing that I could do it! He helped me get back on the road and gave me a positive mindset after unfortunately failing my first test but now I am sooo excited to have passed second time. It doesn’t feel real. Wow! Managed a first time pass with 0 minors today after being taught by Daz! For someone who was very hard on themselves he always managed to make me feel like i was good enough!! He’s so calm and relaxed and has the best explanations to make you understand what you’re doing. Always felt at ease when driving with Daz and so glad i managed to get him to help me pass! 1000% recommend Daz without a doubt! see you around 😉🚗👀

daz is a really good instructor, make you feel really calm behind the wheel and asks you questions that prompt decision making. i felt very confident in the car with him and had a feel lessons that should be challenging but he made them easy. i passed with no minors on tuesday - thanks daz!!

After so many years of being nervous to even sit behind the wheel of a car I can happily say I am excited for my next lesson every time. Daz is so reassuring, calm and informative. I’ve heard bad things about driving instructors and have always been worried about finding the right one but luckily after a only a week of following Daz on social media I found the instructor for me & booked in straight away! No regrets! I would 100% recommend to anyone that is wanting to do their automatic lessons to book with Daz!!

My experience with daz from start to finish was very smooth sailing. He was very accommodating and tried his best to get all the lessons in I needed considering circumstances with covid weren’t the best. Which I think people forget as everyone trying to drive at the time was in the same boat and he did the best he can. I couldn’t recommend Darren enough, if you’re feeling nervous, you definitely won’t be after your first lesson. He helped me to pass with no minors and I couldn’t of done it without it. I had my first refresher lesson with Daz yesterday and I can’t recommend him enough already! He’s so calm and motivating, which is not an experience I’ve had with other instructors. I’ve had a license for a few years but I didn’t feel confident enough to drive, but I believe Daz will help me get there as I already feel much better about it after just one lesson

Wow, wow, wow!!!! I am writing this on behalf of my daughter Holly as she doesn’t do fb. She has just come back after her first driving lesson with Daz. Holly came back full of confidence and beaming away. She loved every second and is looking forward to her next lesson. Could not recommend Daz enough, he’s amazing! As soon as I met him all my nerves went from previous bad driving experiences, he made me feel confident in how I drove and was very helpful with those certain things I needed to tweak. He’s a great teacher and is so calm, informative and knowledgeable. When I’d doubt myself he would make sure that within that lesson I could do those things I didn’t believe I could and explained it so it was easy to pick up, I’d always leave a lesson feeling like I’d achieved something and excited for the next lesson. When i was ready for my test he made sure I was ready, confident and had my driving ‘swag’. I’m over the moon that I’ve passed and thank you for being so patient! I’m going to miss having lessons with you but will hopefully see you on the road. Keep doing what you’re doing Daz! 👏🏼

When first starting my driving lessons with Darren he made it the most important thing to make sure that I felt confident with my own skills and knowledge when it comes to the road which I believe is essential when it comes to progressing in driving. He is always very cool, calm and collected which makes the lessons so much more enjoyable and easy. Whilst focusing on the road, Darren makes it easy for you to feel comfortable when making conversation. Genuinely, I could not recommend anyone more for a beginner or someone looking to find someone just right for them after potential anxiety on the roads. Very motivational but with no aspect of pressure. 10/10.

If anyone is looking for a driving instructor I really recommend Darren. I was so nervous about starting my driving lessons and had no confidence in myself at all, after my first free lesson with Daz I knew straight away he was the right instructor for me. My confidence really went up after the first lesson and he makes you feel so calm and relaxed! I passed my theory first time with help from Darren. I couldn’t recommend Daz enough!! So I passed my test in august 2021 and I honestly couldn’t have done it without Daz! By far the best instructor, so patient and understanding! And due to me deciding to drive during covid and having gaps due to lockdowns it didn’t take me long to pass my test at all!! He really helped boost my confidence, so if you’re a nervous driver like I was then Daz will be the best person for you! Thank you a million I love having the freedom I do now that I can drive🚘

After being disappointed and lacking confidence with a previous instructor, Darren took me on Last minute and listened and pin pointed what needed to be worked on. Couldn’t recommend Daz enough !! He is just amazing instructor. My story started before covid, having very bad instructor and husband helping me to learn to drive… both of them made me feel so low that I even didn’t though I could be driving on my own ever … As during pandemic I get promotion at work and have to be able to travel between hospitals my needs for being a driver comes back.. and o started researching FB as I was keen to driver and I knew will be quicker to pass on automatic.. I found Daz from old post , he seems to have great opinion and as far i checked his page I decided to send message and ask about automatic driving lessons.. unfortunately by then, he couldn’t offer it to me, but he cheer me up so much that I deceived to even try manual again. When the lockdown ease off he text me what I want to do and after nice conversation I decide to go automatic - Daz was very honest and had told me it will save my money and it should be quicker too. He offered first lesson for free which is very unusual so it making him even more attractive as there is no any obligation and you can decide after that if he is right for you or not ! Every single lesson was fun but still in professional way ! I couldn’t believe I learn to drive in about 10h ! I had my exam in July last year , I failed at the end, but once I get cancellation next month Daz done everything he could to be able to go with me on that exam even with only 2 days notice we had ! He was amazing of giving me that possibility to even have 2h of lesson the night before exam- yes night as he been driving with me 21-23pm as he knows I’m working long hours in the hospital ! You can say that he loves what he is doing as not many of instructor would go extra mile for their pupils ! And also have to say that - yes sometimes is taking him a while to get back to you or come a bit late, but I always been informed about it as well as what you are expecting, when you have full list of pupils having exams coming after nearly 2 years of lockdown ?! Excuses, but I rather preferred to pay to somebody who gave me attention , monitored my progress and learned me to drive !NOT to sit next to me to get in touch with other people !!! Highly recommended as you not gonna regret it if you will try ! And there is nothing to lose anyway !

It has taken me years to finally decide to learn to drive, and I was desperate to get it done. But I lacked the confidence, I started my driving journey with Darren, and I can honestly say I have never felt more confident and reasurred than I did whilst learning. He has tons of patience and brilliant advice, and thanks to all of these things I passed 1st time no minors. Can honestly say Darren is a amazing driving instructor, since starting my lessons with him in November I have achieved so much throughout doing my driving lessons and am very confident with him teaching me il get the results I want, he’s always reassuring, positive, teaches you to the best advantage always, as someone who’s done lessons before with another instructor (which was awful) I can honestly say that with Darren I have achieved so much within a short space of time, and have never felt so at ease whilst being taught how to drive, a lot of people I know are now doing lessons with Darren and they absolutely love it to, roll on April for my test 🤞🏼
