Tim is amazing - he was recommended to me by another tradesman and I am completely satisfied with his work. If you have a problem (or an old thing that needs replacing to be legal!) he's really great at explaining what's going on, and if you need to replace something he'll explain the options. He explained all the regulations and helped us update our house and make it ready to rent out, and all his work was very well priced. Felt very happy having him in my house.

Tim was very professional in dealing with our emergency at a time of emergency. He had already done work for us before so he was familiar with the wiring of our house and managed to fix the fault very quickly. Highly recommended for professionalism and responsiveness.

Couldn't recommend Tim any higher: he responded perfectly to my urgent call (after 5.30pm) to help my elderly mother-in-law whose electrics had fused. He even charged her only 50% callout fee because the problem, he said, was easily fixed! Brilliant!

I cant praise Tim enough. I had an electrical failure on Saturday evening and was ringing numbers of emergency electricians in the area. Tim was the only one who answered the phone and his first response was to try and help me over the phone. He asked me to send him a photo of the main switchboard and patiently talked me through the entire process of checking circuits and finding the fault over the phone. This saved me having to call him out which would have cost more than £100. So nice to see this kind of honesty and genuinely helpful approach. Needless to say I will be recommending him to my friends and will be offering him business in the future!

We were left in the dark one evening when the light fuse blew on our old Wylex wired consumer unit, so I picked up some fuse wiring the next day hoping it would be a quick swap and find some suspect bulb that caused the surge. As these things often go, it wasn't that simple, and we were left with the same problem - so it was decided we'd need an emergency electrician. TP Electrical were easy to get hold of and very quick to come to our aid. Tim is a highly qualified electrician, and went beyond the task of briefly investigating the issue to explain the circuitry in good detail without losing me (bearing in mind this was late in the evening!), as well as any potential safety concerns, to give me a much better understanding of our home electrics. He managed to quickly identify and fix the problem, without charging me a fortune and the parts used were also reasonably priced. Needless to say, I won't have to look any further than TP Electrical in future.
