I would highly recommend JK Electrical. Excellent communication throughout, Jim came out to have a look to ensure EICR was accurate before quoting for specific work required, options very clearly explained. The installation of consumer unit and other small jobs are very tidy and unit is well-secured to the wall - Jim went out to source a wooden board to attach properly as the underlying plaster was a little fragile. Paperwork provided promptly and price was much more competitive than the other 2 quotes I received. Really pleased - many thanks Jim.

Jim and Ryan were great from start to finish. Really responsive and explained everything they were doing in a good level of detail, and they got the job done quickly and efficiently too (despite the additional hurdle of a missing earth wire cropping up!). Great value for money and two good guys - would recommend highly and will certainly go to them should I need any further jobs doing!

Jk electricals is rare, it is a company I truely recommend not something I do. Jim and Ryan came into my home and worked with enthusiasm to completely overhaul whole electrical system. From full installation of completr home, to outside garage lighting, to installation of electric car charger port, to outside lights. Company arrived on time, worked through to complete tasks and tidied as they completed each days work. The finish in my home is terrific. I would not hesitate to use them again. Just thankful I managed to secure their services to begin with. Best choice ever

I brought in JK Electrical after a previous electrician had done some shoddy work. Jim not only was able to fix all of my rewiring issues (an excellent quality) but was able to provide me with the safety documentation to get reimbursement from my previous electrician for the poor (and dangerous) job they had done. Jim and Ryan put in extra time and effort to get my rewiring done exactly right, even after it took significantly longer than planned due to delays with Scottish Power. He was responsive, quick to answer questions, and the quality of the work was top notch.

I am so happy with the work done in my flat by Jim and Ryan of JK Electrics. They replaced two light fittings, upgraded my kitchen spotlights to LED, fitted new light switches and sourced and fitted a very specific extractor fan for my bathroom window. Jim really went the extra mile, tracking down a fan to fit my particularly tricky window! They even cleaned and tidied up before they left. An absolute pleasure to deal with, and very very reasonable pricing. Would definitely recommend!

Sorry for delay on review. Jim came along to my property in April to carry out a number of jobs for me mainly upgrade fuse box rewire smoke alarm carry out EICR and also pat testing too. This man is by far the most professional reliable friendly and helpful tradesman I have ever had carry out work for me. Nothing was too much trouble to Jim or Ryan and all at a very reasonable price. The work they carried out for me has been done to an exceptional standard and I would not hesitate for one second to recommend Jim and Ryan. Jim has incredible experience in electrical work and it shows in the job he does along with ryan. If you need an excellent tradesman and maybe feel anxious about having someone you dont know at your house then Jim and Ryan are the guys to go to. I needed downlights fitted in my kitchen. Jim did a fantastic job so much so I ended up getting downlighters fitted in the sitting room and hall too. I also had an issue with one of the old sockets downstairs Jim came back once the plastering was completed to fix this as it was a tricky job. 5***** I called Jim looking for help with beeping (smoke/ heat/ carbon monoxide) alarms after a disturbed night & multiple failed attempts to contact the person who carried out the complete re-wiring of the house & fitting of alarms less than 12 months ago. Despite knowing he would be greeted by the tired & annoyed, he attended very promptly and assured me that the problem would be fixed & I was free to schedule my beauty sleep that same evening. He was professional from start to finish and was very thorough in his work, going out his way to pass on his years of knowledge within the trade and explain to me WHAT the issue was, WHY this had happened, WHERE the problem stemmed from, WHO to contact in future if there are any other electrical issues... Jim himself of course! and for future reference WHEN I need to access the board, which switches to touch. I couldn’t be more thankful of everything Jim has done for me & I’m very grateful to now have him in my contacts. Given that I’m not even a year into my house & take massive pride in the home I’ve worked hard for, I appreciated how tidy he was and the cleanliness of Jim himself I couldn’t fault, no boot prints or dirty tools on the carpet. If it hadn’t been for the fantastic job carried out, as proof that he really was a professional, I may have questioned if his tools had ever done any work. On reflection it’s only obvious that mess & dirt would degrade someone who carries a cape in his tool bag - when Jim attended I truly felt he was a hero.
