So pleased with the fantastic work Thomas and Zach did for us yesterday. We had a number of new sockets fitted, new light fittings and new ceiling lights fitted in four locations. The work was so neat and tidy and everything cleaned up at the end. Really nice guys who kept us informed throughout. We're doing a complete refurb on our property over the next year and so pleased to have found a great all-trades company we can use for everything.

Very pleased with the work done, under counter and kickboard lights, replacement of 2 hall lights with LED lights, an internal socket and outside protected socket. Stephen turned up at the agreed time and date and got back promptly with the quote. Initial visit had the most work but the electrician returned to complete a smaller amount of work which is true to his website that no job was to small. The electrician was Thomas who worked diligently and steadily completing all work in a calm and friendly manner leaving the place tidy on completion each time. Communication and problem solving were good reassuring me that I had made the right choice using this company.

Stephen and his co-workers were prompt , courteous st all times, worked very hard to locate the problem , then carried our all electrical work needed. They cleaned up after themselves and left our house spotless. We’ve had two workers back to do another small job snd they were excellent, got on with the job and cleaned up afterwards . Very professional all all times. I would highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed. It’s very difficult getting good tradesmen. Well here they are, look no further!

Can’t recommend highly enough, phoned for help with a hard wired socket for mums fridge - explained that we needed with fridge for my Dads medication and the boys turned up within 1/2 hour and fixed the problem. So helpful and kind to Mum and really got us out of a hole - 100 % will use again

I was so impressed with Mearns electrical the first time round that I called them out again to do more work for me. The first time I used them was several months back where Steven and his team completely checked/tested all my electrics and replaced an ancient fuse box and also quite a lot of rewiring and replacement of sockets\switches done so that it was up to standard and compliant with the regulations. The work was carried out to a high standard. Steven and his team are very helpful and tidied up as they went along. Today I had them out to wire in smoke alarms, heat and carbon monoxide detector as it will be law come next year to have these in your home. Steven and his team did a cracking job! I am so pleased as there was virtually no mess or damage. Carpets etc had to be lifted but they put everything back as they found it. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Steven and his team, they are completely trustworthy, hardworking, polite and punctual. Many thanks guys for everything....from a very happy customer!

I called Stephen as my boiler broke down and I couldn't get Scottish gas to come and fix it despite having a level 4 boiler cover with them. Scottish gas gave me an appointment after a week!!!! However stephen was very courteous, polite and understanding. He sent Gary who arrived in less than an hour, he was extremely knowledgeable and skilled and fixed my boiler in under two hours from when I called. Excellent job and great service, would definitely recommend.

Contacted Mearns with very short notice, as we're having a valuation carried out on our flat. The guys were on time, polite and got straight to the repairs with no messing around. Steven came out when he said he would to quote for the job. He and guys turned up when they said they would do the work. They did a long day's work to complete everything (ripping out and replacing wiring to external lights and garage + safety testing of electrics in kitchen extension). Price seemed fair. I'd look to use Mearns again.

I CONTACTED MEARNS ELECTRICAL AS I HAD A POWER CUT IN THE WHOLE HOUSE WHICH ON THAT DAY WAS OUR INDIAN XMAS, I GOT THROUGH TO STEVEN AND I EXPLAINED WHAT THE ISSUE WAS, STEVEN ASKED ME TO TAKE PHOTOS OF THE FUSE BOX AND STRAIGHT AWAY IDENTIFIED THE ISSUE, GAVE ME A TIME AND PRICE, ON ARRIVAL STEVEN GOT STRAIGHT TO WORK AND PUT A NEW FUSE BOX IN, ONCE COMPLETED ASKED ME TO CHECK EVERY SOCKET,APPLIANCE IN THE HOUSE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME, ALL ASPECTS WERE COVERED AND A GREAT JOB, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT PROFESSIONALISM, EVEN CLEANED UP ALL THE MESS WHEN FINISHED, WOULD RECOMMEND STRONGLY TO EVERYONE, SIMPLE SPLENDID, THANKS STEVEN
