Terry has been absolutely brilliant throughout the process of getting our EV charger. Well before the installation we had a phone call about options, and he was in touch with Northern Powergrid about the house fuse. On the day he turned up on time and was very thoughtful about where we could position the charger, and how to keep the cables neat. He left everything clean and tidy. Excellent customer service from the start to finish of this job. Terry is very knowledgeable on EV chargers, and came round to provide a free quote. Our install was far from simple, with a long cable run. Terry recommend a trench across the garden and to run the cable through our garage loft space. On the day of the install Terry arrived on time and put in a full days work to get it all finished. Everything was left neat and tidy. Very happy with my Zappi charger, it works perfectly and Terry recommended I get a additional meter fitted which records energy used for the car charger only. Very useful for company car owners, if like myself your claiming back the cost of car charging. Overall highly recommended.

I needed an EV charger fitting and completed the information request on the MyEnergi website. Terry was very quick to respond to this by phone, followed up by a quote and then a site visit. He did a fantastic job with the installation at the front of the house. He took great pains to fully conceal the supply cable, so all that can be seen is the charger and no wires showing at all. After researching EV wall chargers and fitting I was contacted by Cannon Electrical, a local firm near me. Terry Contacted me within hours of making the enquiry and we set up a convenient time to assess my property for the installation of my EV charger box. Terry explained what he had to do and sent me a quote within 24hours. The Zappi charger is locally built so I was very happy with that and it also allows me to use power from my solar panels as well as the grid. Terry organised everything from ordering the charger, contacting Northern Power and applying for the EV grant. The day he came to fit the box he agreed with me where cables and box would go and set to. On completion of the installation he showed me the controls and explained how to get the best from my charger, solar panels and power from the grid. He set up my phone to monitor the charging and linked it to the WiFi so I can monitor it from anywhere. Terry, from start to finish, was an absolutely professional about everything. His workmanship is exemplary, everything is neat and tidy, neatly tucked away in the cupboard and he explained how everything worked in simple terms and left my home clean and tidy. The invoice and certificate of conformity have been sent to show it has been fitted correctly and meets the NAPIT building regulations standards. I highly recommend him if you want an EV charger box fitting to your home or office but he does other electrical work as well and I am sure this aspect of his work is of an excellent standard as well.

The customer service I received has been excellent, Terry replied to the requested work within 24 hours and came round to discuss the proposed work. He was timely, polite, clearly explained the work that was required as well as listening to our questions and needs. Great service from Terry at Cannon Electrical. Installing a Zappi EV Charge-point. Terry was the only installer at quotation stage who noticed that the RCD’s in my main and garage consumer units were not suitable for use with EV chargers. This gave me confidence that he was competent and would make professional installation. I was not disappointed. Terry took time to make sure I was happy with how he was going to install the unit and to ensure it complied with the manufacturers warranty requirements. He worked in a tidy manner clearing up as he worked. He made sure I was happy with how the unit operated and assured me I could contact him if I needed any assistance.

Fitted Zappi Car Charger and Harvi unit to monitor home usage and charge my car of solar production. Fantastic job well done! I found Terry to be really informative, friendly, open honest and upfront about charges, paid great attention to detail from photos taken and followed up with questions to confirm installation points prior to quoting, and was able to foresee some problems. Work was carried out efficiently, on time, with minimal disruption. COVID safe, conscious of distance, face masks and hand hygiene ensuring property was well ventilated when having to work on the inside.

Terry Hetherington of Cannon took on a routine job which turned to be anything but routine. The equipment was late through no fault of his ( sign of the times). Then there was a problem as the garage is so far from the house router, and finally the DNO made unreasonable demands likely to create both cost and delays. Terry always kept me informed, and made creative suggestions to get the job done, and now its all installed neatly and successfully. At this address we are unable to use all the technical gains available, but the entire until will be transferred to our new build house next year where the kit will really come into its own. In short he solved the issues and delivered. i would describe him as having good old school values of service in a young man.
