I highly recommend Mutlu Auto Electrics. We needed to install a light board to put on our boot-mounted bike rack. Everywhere else we called didn't know what we were talking about, but Mutlu did! He installed the light board very quickly for us, and even helped us out later that day with a jump start when we accidentally flattened our car battery while we were fiddling about fixing the bikes to the boot. Really friendly and helpful. Thank you Mutlu!

Mutlu was very helpful but I recommend ringing before you go as parking is very limited and he can be very busy. Mutlu charged a very low price for the fix he did for me.

Great man, was able to Diagnose a problem with my headlamp and was very polite and detailed with his explanations, very warm welcoming at reception and they keep you up to date. Even offered to fix my headlamp for free and only required labour fee. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service, saved us a lot a money, Mutlu is a very efficient, effective and competent auto electrician, good at finding the problem and the solution, he will take things apart and fix them if possible rather than ordering unnecessary new parts. Very happy with the service and the quick fix. We would highly recommend and travel across London to go there.

This guy is really good. Knows what he’s doing, friendly, helpful and quick. Quickly sorted a long-standing problem on my van where others had failed. Thoroughly recommended.

I write from my vintage motorhome, classic motorcycle on a trailer hitched to the towbar behind me. Low tide, sunshine sparkling on the gentle waves, just yards from the beach, on the coast in Southeast England.
I spent ten days, designing fabricating and fitting substantial non-standard towbar and brackets for my unusual little classic vehicle. I have a design background, and engineering history. Before the Easter bank holiday I was ready to leave South London and return to the coast. Late in the evening I set about connecting the towbar 7-pin electrical wiring. I struggled. I killed the lighting, the fuses, I had main beam warning light appear when the brakes were pressed.. Hugely disappointed, after an 18-hour day, and the culmination of ten days work, I gave up and went to sleep.
The following morning, desperate for help, rescue, and that impossible-to-find 'expert', I half-heartedly googled 'auto electrician peckham'.
Mutlu Auto Electrics was top of the page. I know, and am fond of Nunhead, so I phoned. I think around 9.30.am. I was booked in to 'have a look' for 1.00pm.
I arrived slightly early. Professional garage I'd passed before. A number of expensive vehicles being worked on, and boiler-suited mechanics. All looked hopeful. I waited in reception, and was seen in moments. A large vehicle on the frontage was almost completed with what looked like some quite involved surgery. I was invited to bring my van round and to take it's place.
The proprieter, I believe, of Mutlu Auto Electrics, my Knight-in-shining-armour (overalls) listened to my muddled description of (some of) the symptoms, then slid under the tight rear overhang of my elderly vehicle with his test-meter, and began his diagnosis/process of elimination in his own way.... Sorted an intermittent wiring-loom-fault failure within minutes... (a year-long intermittent mystery to me)... Sorted the fusebox. Sorted my defective nearside rear indicator... Sorted the lights I'd killed. Everything electrical fixed, tested, and back to full working order. All with an old-fashioned competence, totally reassuring confidence, charm, courtesy and experience impossible to find in this computerised digital age.
Then correctly wired my trailer lighting supply. Every single problem solved, sorted, done and dusted within 40-45 minutes. I was trying to think of more things that needed doing! And all within 4 hours of my first telephoning.
I cannot believe my luck that I found this man. Not only that, but that a busy garage was able to book me in at such short notice and do the necessary diagnosis and repair work on the spot. This kind of good fortune for me is something that doesn't usually happen. It's more like a fading memory, a dream of how things used to be.
If you need help with anything car-related, have exhausted your usual options and don't know who to call, I suggest you try MUTLU. And be nice. It doesn't hurt.
You'll be glad you did.
Barry Targett.
