So SO lucky to have found Neil's electrical. I could not have asked for better customer service. Both owners helped to locate and then show me how to install a tiny light bulb into the shoebox painting I was making for a friend's birthday. I would not have finished the work without them!

We were stuck for curtain hooks and had tried all over Wood Green but no joy. We tried Neil's Electrics not expecting much but he had every conceivable curtain hook you could want. We got what we needed and for a fantastic price, brilliant customer service, brilliant value for money. A really fantastic shop, I would certainly try there first next time.

I went up and down the Holloway Road, trying to find someone to help me with what for me was a small but fiddly, difficult job finding parts and doing a repair on lamps. Even B and Q couldn't help. So I went home and googled and found this place, which is an absolute treasure! They were polite, skilful, thorough, made extra useful suggestions and basically did everything they promised at a very reasonable price. Brilliant- 5 stars.

Excellent service. I can thoroughly recommend them for any electrical repairs, especially in relation to older items.I had a Kenwood mixer from the 1970s which needed repairing. Most places I contacted would either not repair mixers at, or would only repair new items. Neil Electrics, however, was happy to help. They did the repair very quickly and charged a very reasonable sum to carry out the work.

I only discovered this place recently, thanks to a neighbour, but really recommend them. It's friendly service, they really know their light bulbs and, unusually, test each one before purchase. I wish I'd known about it years ago!

After several months of replacing my kitchen ceiling lights with different bulbs, I had a uneven and often "cold" light in my kitchen!! So I went up to Neil Electrics in the market, Wood Green, where I was offered a choice of LED type bulbs with a "warm" light. Made my choice, took them home and put them in. Wow !!! What a difference......my kitchen is a much warmer and cosier place to be!! Thank you Neil Electrics.....

I had quite a tricky problem, to convert a rare, faulty LED-chip lamp, which I particularly liked and didn't want to throw away, into one with normal halogen lightbulbs. Kish, the electrician in charge, did a perfect job and at an affordable price. Would recommend.

Found this place online and instantly called them to find out if they had what I needed. The owners were really lovely especially the lady and she was very knowledgable about what they have in store. Literally the only place in Wood Green to get power cables for well needed household electricals. If you need quick electrical items that you would have previously got from Maplins deffo check this place out. It's in the shopping centre market place.

Neil's Electrics rewired my Anglepoise lamp and sourced a replacement lead/foot pedal for my 40 odd year old sewing machine. The prices were very reasonable and the service was highly efficient. They also recommended a much brighter LED bulb for my Anglepoise. Very helpful & excellent service

Helpful family run business for 30 years. I always go here for advice, eg. brightest lightbulbs for my elderly partially sighted mother. Also, the only place I could find Hoover bag replacement. They are very experienced and knowledgable giving helpful advice at good prices. V well stocked and check bulbs etc before selling to you. Excellent service and value, more than you would find online. Lucky to have this service shop in the market hall. Long may it thrive.

It's hard to find anywhere that repairs electrical gear these days, but Neils Electrics fixed my Minidisc player for a reasonable charge. If we repaired more stuff instead of just throwing it away, the world wouldn't be in such a mess today!

We’ve been taking our various lamps to be repaired and restored over the years. Kish always seems to know how to bring electrics back to life and Roma will always offer helpful, honest advice. Packed full of bits you can’t get elsewhere, as well as a wide range of plugs and bulbs, fans and stuff you hadn’t even considered. A great family business, long established in the Mall.

I’m a student who were looking for the scrap cables and copper wires for sustainable craft. I looked for websites and several electronics to find them but it was either too expensive or they didn’t have it. And I happened to find this shop!!! They were owning a large amount of scrap cables and wires to be recycled or to sale. Not only I could find materials I wanted, they sold them in a great price. I’m definitely gonna come back : ) (will add a craft made of cables when it’s finshed!)
