We lost electricity in part of our kitchen. We had a back experience with a large electrician firm, so called Patrick for help. Patrick took the time to really figure out what was wrong, and was entirely committed to solving it. He was also really nice to work with—he took the time to explain things to us and was professional throughout. Will definitely be going to Patrick for all future work.

Patrick was amazing. A breath of fresh air in an industry where it's hard to find honest and professional tradesmen. Full qualified. Trustworthy, friendly, polite, kind. He found my problem where the power was off and repaired my lighting system and got it up to standard to provide a certificate. His prices were honest. I will never work with cowboy/ unqualified builders after this. Patrick worked very hard and fit me onto his busy schedule. I can see he cares about doing a good job and not just making money as quickly as possible like some tradesmen. He also changed my fuze board for a new one. Great find… It was our first time using Patrick as we are new to South East London. Power kept cutting out in our house and it wasn’t obvious what the issue was as it wasn’t tripping out. Patrick initially said he was available to come the same evening around 5pm. However, after I mentioned that I had a newborn and was keen to fix it ASAP, he was with me within the hour. Patrick was thorough fixing the fault, communicated pricing clearly and was professional throughout. He even called in the evening to follow up to make sure all was well. We look forward to using Responsible Electricians in the New Year to install some new light fittings. Would highly recommend!

I had called 2 electricians for emergency fault-finding to restore loss of power to lighting circuits in my flat. Both electricians were unable to diagnose the problem, gave me expensive advice on the remedy and charged me. I then came across Responsible Electricians via Checkatrade and spoke to Patrick who turned up the next day on time. He was determined to put my mind at rest and resolve the issue and thoroughly investigated the causes. At every stage he gave me coherent and detailed explanations of the processes he was following. As a teacher, I was quite impressed with the clarity of his communication, engagement and conscientious manner. I am pleased to say Patrick resolved the problem with minimal inconvenience. He took great care to avoid any unneccessary work or expenses. My partner, was so impressed that Patrick has been asked to take on some other work. Whenever I have any future electrical issues, my first port of call will be Responsible Electricians and I would gladly recommend him to family and friends. Patrick is very professional and safety conscious. He rewired my new extension and decommed old wiring and explained all work being carried out. Not a company that cuts corners. If you want things done properly with safety in mind give these guys a call.

Patrick was very proffesional , very knowledgeable about his work, and punctual. He managed to fix the old socket which was tripping the electricity off in my house. Also installed a new cable on the washing machine which was initially badly installed by a cowboy . I will definitely recommend Patrick to my friends and family.

I'm not usually a reviewer, however on this occassion I felt I had to state how positive it was to work with Patrick. From the first contact (where it was general advice and not paid work) he advised how to make a fix on a stressful situation. At that point I realised I had to use him He did a thorough investigation on the parts, gave me plenty of time outside of the job in helping to select the parts, when I made an error on purchasing supplies, he was very accommodating and helped me in the research as well also. When he installed the lighting, he was fast efficient and made sure that the aesthetics of the job were presentable as well. He came a couple of times, and was totally fair on pricing not charing anymore, despite the job taking long due to circumstances that were out of control. He is honest, reliable, professional, detail orientated and highly responsible. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to my friends and anyone else that reads this. I have future work already planned for him as well.
