I have recently had the pleasure of working with Leanne at Culture recruitment Having found myself been made redundant last year from the company I spent 17 years with I found myself in an unfamiliar place. Leanne made contact with me via LinkedIn, we had a chat about my previous roles and back ground to which Leanne came straight back to me with a role that had come into Culture recruitment. Communication, advice and guidance was floorless. Firstly apologies for the review name, my son Kindly changed it. I have recently worked with Culture recruitment and in particular Leanne. having spent many years in recruitment myself I understand not only the pressures but the pitfalls of the industry, for that reason I was very picky in who I worked with. Leanne and I had an initial chat, we agreed that my background and C.V. was very marketable, albeit there were certain prerequisites surrounding salary and RTM that needed to be adhered to. The first of many things that impressed me about Leanne was she stuck to these at all times, only ever coming to me with roles that fitted the profile we had discussed. The roles that Leanne presented me with were very much quality over quantity (exactly what I wanted) the communication was outstanding and the guidance and advice was positioned perfectly. There was one role that stood out and luckily so did I having been fortunate enough to be offered the position. It was at this point I was the most impressed, firstly Leanne made my salary expectations and other opportunities 100% clear, this gave my new employer the facts with zero ambiguity, which in turn allowed them to act fast (as all good employers should) As mentioned above I actually had two offers from two good companies one through Leanne and one through another recruiter. I have to take my hat off to Leanne here as she didn't do the transparent "other company bashing" or manipulation that I come to expect (8 years in recruitment made me cynical) She was professional, pragmatic and offered genuine career guidance. As I embark on my new career I will hopefully in the near future be in a position giving me recruitment responsibility, when this happens Leanne will be my first call. P.S. I took the job she presented me.
