I have to give praise for Sunny Nakra from the Robert Half office in Birmingham. On the same day that he made contact with myself, he secured me an interview. During the pandemic it has been extremely difficult finding work especially in finance. They insisted that they meet me face to face before putting me forward for any roles, at first I thought "oh not another meeting" but I was pleasantly surprised and glad I attended the meeting. My experience dealing with Robert Half Technology in Birmingham has been 1st class. They really wanted to understand me as a person and my background than just what was on my CV. We firstly met face-to-face locally to have general chat, run through my person background and then through my CV. The next day I got a call about a potential contract opportunity. Robert Half consultant Ravi Johal guided and supported me through the process brillantly. We spoke on a daily basis, answering any queries I had quickly. The interview arrangement was clearly communicated. Ravi actually met me at the clients offices on the day of the interview. After the interview Ravi and I had a 5 min post review, which went well. Ravi represented me very well throughout the process. Ravi called me with an offer later that day, which met what was discussed previously. The back office staff at Robert Half (Rebecca Laird and Louise Jackson) were very helpful and professional and helped me greatly. They help me through the contract T&C's and supporting me on providing all the necessary company info, insurances and cerficiates etc... Robert Half also offers a self billing facility, which is very good. It's quick and easy to fill in weekly timesheets, gets the client to authorise via email and you get promptly paid weekly into your bank. I have been very pleased with the experience and service received by Robert Half - Technology Birmingham.
