We have worked for over a year now with the team at GSR as our son sought a soccer scholarship in the USA. From the outset the team have been very clear on the process and what to expect and - importantly - when we did have questions there would be a rapid response to our email. The cost was substantially less than others that we looked at yet we cannot really fault the service - it is a very personable one. The games to showcase were well organised and our son came back with positive feedback on each one. When it came to the crunch and the offers that they said would arrive came in Craig in particular was really helpful in answer our questions - even if they were fairly basic or obvious, he appreciated this was all 'new' to us. Once we had selected a College, he set out very clearly what we need to do and when in respect of visa, documentation, embassy visits, liaison with the College, costs etc which was vital as there are a lot of hurdles to jump. What impressed me most was that GSR were never 'over corporate' or 'in your face' - it was a very calm, professional and personable service doing what was required when. Through GSR support, our son is now settled in America - amazing to think with what started as a complete dream in his head!

GSR has been a very efficient and professional service to help provide football scholarships in the US. I started with GSR in December 2019 at trials to which I passed and progressed into a Recorded Game at top facilities in March 2020. GSR then started forwarding offers from US University's and connected me to the Coaches around April/May. GSR then helped me with what offers were the best for me. GSR also aided through the VISA process which was very useful. I ended up recieving my VISA in early August, then flew out in Mid August to start my scholarship. GSR has been extremely efficient for me, helping me recieve a Scholarship in the space of 9 months. They have answered all our questions and queries within a short space of time. Even with COVID-19, they remained positive about everything. I would recommend GSR's service to anyone who would love to recieve a football scholarship in the US🙌

Just wanted to thank Simone and GSR for helping my son Morgan get to the USA. Everything done and dusted during Covid lockdown in 3 months, what an adventure!! Morgan had basically given up on his football after injury and let downs. Simone and GSR helped Morgan get into a great Uni, St Mary’s Texas with coach Johnny Clifford. Coach Johnny has been very supportive and helped Morgan get his hunger back. This summer Morgan is playing in a top franchise at Midland Odessa Sockers in front of over 1500 home fans. Coach Dave Jacobs like coach Clifford has been instrumental in helping Morgan develop as a person as a player. So to any young footballers out there who have fallen out of love of the game due to release, injury etc speak with Simone at GSR. There are plenty of opportunities elsewhere and none better than playing “Soccer” and studying in the USA. From the outset I found GSR to be very professional in the way that they carried out their business. The whole process from initial trial match, interview, etc was made easy and in my case, Dave and Rachel made me feel at ease when they interviewed me and answered all my questions. They obviously have a depth of knowledge concerning the American scholarship programs which is passed onto every player they have. Their use of a video portfolio for prospective coaches is especially beneficial. They have a great setup and attending the various trial matches and the end of year client games is very straightforward. By building up your video portfolio and maintaining your personal profile up to date ensures that what the American coaches see is you performing and playing well on the pitch along with viewing your academic record. As a consequence of this I was approached by a number of American coaches and offered a variety of scholarships which is something I wouldn’t have been able to achieve on my own. During the Covid-19 pandemic they kept in regular contact with everyone, reassuring them that they were under no pressure to go out, kept you up to date re Government guidelines, Visa process, etc. I would certainly recommend GSR to anyone.

I will not lie, leaving Oran at the airport, to go for 4 years to America, was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Did I smile bravely and send him on his way? Nope. I cried and cried and then cried some more - for about two weeks to be honest!
