I have been working with Tradewind for 3 years and I could not ask for a better supply agency. I enjoy working for them so much that they are now my only agency. My consultant Katie is incredible! She always finds work that fits around my ever changing schedule and even ensures that the work is in the year groups that I feel most confident teaching. After qualifying to teach (secondary science) last summer, i returned to university for my masters, and sought out some casual supply work to keep me in the loop and bring in some extra cash to fund my studies. I applied through indeed and was quickly contacted by tradewind. The refrigeration process was straightforward and I was guided through each step of the process to make it as simple as possible. As soon as I was registered, my consultant Alex began to find me work. As I am an ECT this year, I don’t have any experience with other agencies, however I believe my rate of pay to be good (and paid weekly). Work is plentiful and I have worked in a large number of learning environments this year, which has been invaluable given my ECT status. Alex is extremely helpful and will put 110% into finding work for me and also dealing with any queries I have. Given my university timetable, the days that I can work vary week to week and tradewind are more than accommodating of this, even to the extent of finding me work for 3/4 of the school day if I have a lecture at uni later in the day. All in all, I don’t think that I could have asked for a better agency to work with at the beginning of my teaching career.
