Such a positive experience working with DC Personnel. Previous experiences have taught me that it is not always easy to work with employment agencies, but I must say that my opinion has certainly been changed now, especially through dealing with Daniel and Matt. I have worked for DC Personnel since November. Never, during this this period, has there been an issue. Throughout, my wages have been paid correctly and on time. Holidays have been easy to book. Whenever I have needed to contact staff I have had no difficulty. Phone calls and texts are dealt with promptly. Dan and Matt who while providing a first class service have remained friendly and helpful. From my own experience I would highly recommend working for DC Personnel. Excellent agency to work for. Definitely 🌟5 🌟 !

I started working for this agency last July in a few different warehouse roles in Leicester. I had never worked for an agency before so I was unsure what to expect. After applying for a role on a job website, I received a call the same day and ended up starting work two days later which lasted for a couple of months which I really enjoyed. DC Personnel generated my payslips before my pay. Payment was always on the same day each week and roughly processed at a similar time in the evening. Communication was two-way and effective, always received a written contract with written details of a job assignment. Dan is also very approachable and professional and will catch up with you to find how you are settling in to the role and if you have any questions or concerns. I have made emphasis on the points of above because I feel that one thing you don’t want from an agency is issue with payments as the sole function is to pay you for your labour and hard work. I worked for another agency briefly in September and it was a nightmare that caused so much stress and anxiety, so it makes you appreciative when agencies are professional, reliable and competent. The issues I encountered at this other agency were: being sent home early and frequently, misleading overtime information, payslips being generated after the payment was processed, missing payments, not being paid at all for my last shift, not being paid holiday pay and being charged employer’s NI on top of NI (I was never aware the employment was regarded as self-employment because my contract was issued after my pay.) With DC Personnel you are not classed as self employed and there’s a high level of trust and peace of mind knowing that my payments would go through each week and on time. I have edited my original review, as Friday was my last day of employment with DC Personnel as Monday I turn permanent after 3 months of employment which is excellent news, and relieving to find permanent work, so I wanted to leave my appreciation and a more up to date review. The only criticism I would make is that I did have a gap in employment for a few weeks in September 2020, however this was due to demand caused by the pandemic so it's nothing major. Last year on a whole was very challenging to find work especially if you are experiencing situations like me where the industries you had worked in previously have either halted or don’t exist anymore. So I would certainly recommend this agency if you are in the Leicester area looking for an opportunity for long-term employment with a trustworthy agency because trust me sometimes they are hard to come by!
