I have been working with the agency for about a year now and I highly recommend it. I started working straight away after my registration and I have had the opportunity to find local jobs in different types of schools. All the staff that I've known in Academics have been really helpful and attentive. They always try their best to find you some work according to your preferences. At the moment I am speaking with Martin (for the special needs schools), and James and Leigham for the secondary mainstream schools.

I’ve been working with Academics as a long term temp worker in a SEN school. I usually liaise with Martin Donnelly. He has been great and always very helpful. I would rate Academics very highly; my experience with this agency has been none other than five star.

I have experienced a positive relationship with my advisers. They are very supportive and enhace interractions with them. They show concern and encouraged me in various issues. This has enhanced my professional development and inspired confidence in my ability to work with various schools.

Out of the 6 or so agencies I worked with, from the get go Academics stood out as the best. Lee Vincent was extremely candid about my options, flexible with his approach, attentive, easily contactable and always enthusiastic, and all this while he was working part time and home-schooling his kids. Lee was a very reassuring person to work with while times were uncertain, and I’m glad to have found work through him and the rest of the team. Couldn’t rate you guys any higher.

Academics Ltd is an excellent agency that treated me with uttermost respect.
I applied through their agency for a Science Technician role in a school. I got a role within a few weeks, and I have now been taken on as a permanent member of staff at said school.
Throughout my time with Academics Ltd, they were efficient, friendly and professional. They worked hard to resolve any issues I had. They also had an excellent relationship with my school and had a reputation as being one of the best teacher agencies in London.
I was particularly impressed by the work of Daniel Wheeler, who's attitude towards his role was impeccable. He was incredibly helpful to me.
I notice some previous negative reviews from several years ago, and I can safely say my experience was far from that. Perhaps they've worked hard to create a more positive working environment in recent times.
Excellent overall, would highly recommend.

I worked for Academics for a year and half as a supply teacher and they were always able to find for me. Clare, the business manager who I worked with most closely, clearly cared about both the schools and companies she worked with and the supply staff. She was well organised, proactive and approachable.

Within the company Jade George has been amazing. She helped me secure a job immediately at a SEN school during the pandemic and with all the issues that COVID-19 threw at the community, Jade was always there trying to do everything in her power to help me. Very honest and encouraging consultant. Recommend her to anyone who’s looking for a job within SEN schools.

When I started applying for jobs I never was told or even knew that an agency could help. I came across Academics by pure mistake and it was the best mistake I could have made.
I was constantly filling out online job applications and was quickly becoming fed up. This was mostly due to the process of applying being monotonous and dull as well as never hearing back which made me become increasingly unmotivated to carry on.
Just as I was giving up hope I had an email from Yasmin Boffa at Academics. I replied and within minutes she phoned me and we clicked straight away! She was so positive, friendly and gave me so much hope. She was great at keeping me up to date with any new findings and she knew exactly what I was looking for and was determined to find me a job which over exceeded my expectations.
Throughout finding possible jobs she would be completely honest and would never let me have anything other than perfect. Not long after her search began she found my dream job to which she overly prepared me for with examples of interview questions and moral support. When I was given the offer for that job she was just as pleased as I was if not more so (mostly because I was in shock).
Yasmin quickly became someone who I could trust and she would always be on hand to contact at any time. If I ever need help in the future or know of someone else who needs help I would 100% reccomend Yasmin! Thank you again Yasmin I don't think I would have done as well as I did without your amazing help, knowledge and experience and you made the last couple of months a breeze.

I joined Academics 8 months ago and they found me a placement the day after I joined so I am very pleased with their service. I'd like to especially thank Jane as she was very helpful and lovely. I'd recommend them to everyone.

As a highly experience and successful professional, I have relied on Academics a few years back when relocating, and a few years later when suffering a bereavement and seeking a career and lifestyle change. I hence needed work that tailored to my needs. They have been brilliant in assigning me to roles that would fit.
Mr Daniel Wheeler in particular was incredibly helpful. He works with the utmost integrity and clarity with both ends of the bargain. He has been very supportive, considerate and effective, thinking creatively at posts that may fit best both needs of the School and myself. I found him always refreshingly approachable and candid.

The Guildford Academics Ltd. have been absolutely great during the Covid-19 epidemic. They really care about the wellbeing of their supply teachers and managed to get us all furlough pay during quarantine.
They are a really friendly team that have great links with schools across Surrey and they have information about the schools too so that you never go in blind. They work with your schedule and are always happy to help.

My consultant, Yasmin Boffa is superb. She is passionate about what she does and actually listens to clients. She is professional and courteous. Looking forward to many more years working with her.

Staff were friendly. But towards the end not so friendly, the person who was trying to help me was rude and I found him unprofessional.
