Reviews of High Society Event Staff

Very enjoyable job - especially if you’re working part time. Extra pay after midnight and a taxi home after 11:30 is pretty good ! It’s also a good social experience; i worked on billionaires row, Bishop’s Avenue, North London, on my third shift which was a fun experience and i won’t forget (ellie goulding was there) but overall a good and recommendable job for young people like myself :)

It is a great student job, really flexible part time job. The venues you work are simply amazing and you generally get to see most of the City. The staff on the job and in the office are really supportive and simply great. You get to meet people who are around the same age who eventually become really good friends with you.

I would 100% recommend High Society- its a super professional and friendly company. They pay on time and are very organised- it’s super easy to book onto shifts and you meet some great new people, explore new places and often get delicious food at the end of shifts!!
I have been part of High Society's staff since September 2019 and I couldn't be happier working at the agency. I've had the chance to work at some truly amazing venues across London, such as the Natural History Museum and Somerset House and I have worked alongside some really great people.
High Society has a friendly and enthusiastic environment that makes shifts enjoyable. I went into High Society with no experience in the hospitality industry but the training day was very comprehensive and everyone has been super supportive, understanding and helpful.
The company offers a lot of flexibility- you can pick the shifts that work with your schedule and pick up work in the holidays, which is great for me as a university student. It’s been really easy to fit work around my uni life and balance work and study- there is always work available and a huge variety of shifts. No two shifts are the same so the job is always interesting and it’s exciting to work at new venues each time!

Flexible events catering work at cool, interesting locations around London! Staff at the office as well as colleagues on shifts are very friendly, easy to work with and communicative. Nice meeting so many new people on shifts also and sometimes get nice food on shifts.
One con though: shifts are physically demanding and breaks are largely the responsibility of the client company hosting the event and have sometimes been neglected as a result. This has been communicated to High Society office and hopefully there will be changes to this

I have been part of High Society's staff since 2018 and I couldn't be happier with the professionalism and quality of the company. High Society has a friendly and enthusiastic environment that makes shifts much nicer.
The number of shifts available can vary due to the time of the year (certain periods are busier than others) but usually it's possible to find work. The possibility of choosing my own days and hours has been very helpful as I am a full-time student and therefore I need to have flexible hours. Additionally, this job gives you the possibility to visit amazing places in London and meet new people!

I’ve worked for High Society off and on since 2017 and have always had a great experience. The company is smaller than most hospitality agencies and feels much friendlier and more personal as a result. The office staff quickly start to remember you when you call up and are always helpful in finding shifts that suit your availability and experience.
The work is varied and often a lot of fun – I’ve worked on all kinds of events varying from small conferences to huge galas, often in iconic London venues. A few that stand out are the Natural History Museum, the Tower Bridge Walkways and Marlborough House (the headquarters of the Commonwealth – a stunning interior I’d likely never have a reason to visit if not for High Society). I’ve seen my fair share of famous guests at events too, which is always a bit of fun!
I’ve recently started working in the office, too, and it’s a really lovely working environment.
I would definitely recommend High Society to anyone in need of flexible work or wanting to get a feel for the events industry.

High Society is the best agency I have worked for, they treat their staff really well, the office is super organised and there are always lots of exciting events on to work at. I have seen so many amazing venues in London and even a few celebrities, no two jobs are ever the same! The other staff are always friendly and it is a pleasure to work with everyone. The flexibility means it is the perfect job to work alongside my studies.

I really enjoy working for High Society because it offers flexible hours and i get to know a lot of cool venues and different people on every shift. The payment is really good and they have incentives and trainings where you can improve your skills or learn new ones.
I've been working with this company for a year now and the office staff is very helpful and lovely. The managers on shifts are very professional and care about our wellbeing and we get to know them as they are very friendly too, which makes every shift fun...
With High Society, I get to travel not only around london but out of London too. Last summer I worked for the Royal International Air Force Tattoo in Gloucestershire which was really cool...
This is a very good place to work so i would definitely recommend it for everyone looking for a flexible, enjoyable job where you can also improve and learn more skills.

Great place for me to work while I'm studying. I love the flexibility, it makes it easy to fit work around my uni life. I have a few clients who I enjoy working for regularly. I've had the chance to work as some amazing venues across London, that most people never would the get chance to visit. It's a good staffing agency to work for, as they have a large variety of shifts available.
