Reviews of Prime Agency Recruitment
黑.
Was one of the best agency in London, paid holiday and great jobs. Simon was excellent guy. I was late but Simon said, come have a sit and gave me a form to fill it in. And got the job almost next working day, so worked in that company for three years, great experience. Highly recommended

I went through Prime and while I did receive two late/final stage interviews (I was relatively new to the process of interviewing for rather intense sales roles) I did find the entire process and bit too arduous and a little dishonest. I need to clarify though that I do think there was considerable effort put in to my process by recruiters, but the process itself should be reviewed as I think it heavily favor employers as opposed to employees.
The process involved an initial phone interview with Prime, which was roughly 45mins - 1hour. I passed this and was invited to a face to face interview at Prime at 9am in London the next day. This took about at hour and I passed this also. Then at 4pm, there was a 'training day' whith about 25 candidates which Prime repeatedly stated was not an assessment center. We had to do various tasks and then do a pitch at the end of the 2 - 3 hour process, with potential employers being in the room....an assessment center right?
I was fortunate to get picked up by two of the companies, and at this stage was passed on by Morag to Joe, a more senior recruiter I would imagine. On the day of the interviews, I was to be at Primes offices for interview prep at 8am, as my first interview was 10am, with the second at 1pm. I was promised after both interviews I would receive feedback in quick time, and there were further opportunities available. However, with Joe going on annual leave and this not being communicated to me, I did not receive feedback for a week after both interviews (at this stage I was aware I was unlikely to have been successful).
Once contact was again made (after myself having to send multiple messages/missed calls) I was told I was unsuccessful, received some vague but good enough feedback I suppose, and was then told I was not a good fit for the roles Prime would be pursuing with. Worst of all I had previously been told not to apply for other positions during the process and to hold of any current applications and Prime were sure to get me a job. It is this aspect I found very disingenuous and disappointed me the most, because as someone with high integrity I believed whole heatedly if I was not successful, the other roles that had been conveyed to me were up for grabs and they would be happy to put me forward for them and train me through the process. This is how Prime is advertised as being 'different' from other recruiters. Now I know this was a catch, and after failing the first two interviews I was no longer an asset to them and was dropped as a prospect.
Now, through Pareto Law, I have a dream job in sales, one I couldn't be happier with. Their process was so genuine and (this sounds strange) heart warming. Their process was so much less time consuming, more understanding to the job hunt I was going through, and felt so much more human. They were more than happy that I was going through other recruiters and this human understanding really drew them too me, in specific the recruiter I worked with.
While Prime did get me two interviews, I never felt like I was anything but a number to them. The communication went from an 8 to a 1 after my interviews, and after being promised the world it was somewhat comical how quickly I was dropped from their shortlist. And I know I'm a great salesperson and just needed that little bit of support and interview experience to get a great job.
So after Prime and going through some much better recruitment agencies, I have landed my dream job on the first time of asking, and to be fair a part of that is from the feedback I did receive from Prime. But they should be honest, not ask their applicants to hold off with other recruiters, as I think this paints a bad image of sales peoples lack of honestly to make their numbers. They should also not promise you more interviews if you are to fail your first attempt, which they did. As what they did was immediately drop me.
Just be honest folks, you can sell and do that at the same time. It goes a long way.
3/5 experience, thank you for the opportunity regardless :)

Excellent company I would highly recommend this agency. Staff in the office are very professional and efficient. They are always my first point of call when I need cover, they provide high quality staff members and they are always reliable.

I would definitely recommend Prime. I worked for Prime twice. Second time I wanted to work in the place I'd previously worked with them and they were very considerate towards this preference of mine. I'd like to thank Simon - very professional and good communication.
Thanks Prime!
