My recent experience in the job market tells me that common recruitment practice these days is to virtually match candidates and clients and rarely is any time spent getting to know the people behind the CVs. Whereas most consultant's tell you to 'keep an eye on our website and let us know if there's anything you're interested in', the RMS team welcome regular catch up calls, spend time getting to know you, keep you updated with the job market and actually like to build relationships! The requirements I detailed were followed to the letter about number of CVs I wanted to receive and the type of person we wanted to recruit. RMS have been my absolute go-to recruitment agency since 2007 and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are such a pleasure to work with and a real cut above any other agency I have come across. Their offices are in Mayfair and from the first contact on the telephone, through the first interview, being assigned your recruiter and in general throughout the whole process you will feel taken care of and taken seriously. Searching for a job is not always easy in London but RMS will be transparent with you and tell you at every moment what is and isn't happening. The girls are honest& straight forward and will not throw you into roles that don't fit your profile. Simple, professional, quality down to earth agency. I was interviewing on and off for nearly 8 months while working as cabin crew - they treated me as an individual and were completely understanding of my unpredictable shift patterns (and inability to function on landing days). My main point of contact was Phyllida. Communication was consistent and any time I had a question she would respond quickly and effectively. This is super important when looking for work through recruiters as there is ALOT of going back and forth. She made the whole process easy and stress free. The whole team there were just as lovely. Phone calls were never aggressive or trying to hard sell a role you weren't interested inand if turned it down they would try to understand why so that they could tailor their search more to what you want.
