I found working with Ruth to be an insightful, rewarding and ultimately successful experience. She combines natural intelligence and common sense with acute observation by her significant experience of working in different sectors. Her style is friendly, engaging and gently persistent.
She helped me to explore my motivators and values as well as helping me to develop more practical skills.
In particular, I felt our meetings had a good balance of her listening and questioning, with just the right amount of input from her in terms of reflection on experience and guidance on potentially thorny issues such as personal brand an online presence.
I am delighted to be able to recommend Ruth’s coaching services.

I found Ruth when I was going through redundancy and was at a career crossroads. Ruth’s support, encouragement and guidance allowed me space to consider my strengths again and also where and how I wanted to use these going forward. I went into job interviews re energised and more confident and had a choice of roles. I cannot thank Ruth enough for coaching me through my career block. Highly recommend anyone to access sessions with Ruth!

Ruth was a great help in providing structure and support during my transition into a new career and area of work.
Working with her provided a much-needed structure while while still leading in the driving seat which allowed me to work towards choosing a new career based on my own priorities strengths and aspirations. She was kind, considerate and rational and became a stabilising force during a process that can otherwise feel very overwhelming
I am very happy with the new job that I was recently accepted and Ruth’s process has left me feeling that I made an empowered choice in my new area of work.
Thank you, Ruth!

I'm so glad that I found Ruth when I was feeling 'a bit stuck' in my career. I chose to work with Ruth given my background in languages given her own personal experience. Ruth was very understanding, supportive and inspiring.
She really helped me to gain much needed perspective and direction. We worked through my values and strengths, allowing me to feel more confident and to rebrand myself to reflect these on LinkedIn, my CV and when writing job applications. We also worked through techniques to get a better understanding of potential companies I was interested in working for to make sure that it really was the best fit for me.
Our sessions helped me immensely and I would highly recommend that you get in touch with Ruth.

Over the course of a few sessions, Ruth was able to help me really think about the future work options I had before me and how to explore the direction I wanted to go in.
I’ve just wrapped up my old job and I’m now excited about the world of possibilities out there ahead of me.

I have had the great pleasure of working with Ruth for over a decade. She was the 'go to' person when we were preparing our Undergraduate Leaders for the workforce. Her approach is open, honest and engaging. The support that she provides ensures that you think differently about your approach and reflect on what works and what doesn't.

I was stuck in a career crossroads, really struggling with interview techniques and nervousness, and went to Ruth for help. I can safely say that without Ruth's guidance, feedback and support, I would never be in a position where I am able to tackle job interviews confidently and successfully. Ruth - thank you again for your time and guidance, it really made a huge difference to my career, with guidance and techniques that I've been able to rely on for years!
