I've been placed in numerous contract roles with SpectrumIT for a number of years now and feel I can give an honest account of my experience. Job hunting is very stressful so therefore having a recruitment agency that you can trust and rely upon and have clear communication with is absolutely paramount I found. Tom Rayner was excellent in helping me find my first job in the software industry. I didn't have a degree in computing (but I did have lots of programming experience); nonetheless, Tom was able to pick out lots of suitable opportunities for me and he took time to listen to what I was looking for and match me up accordingly. The nice thing about this company is that they are very proactive - if there is a new job on the market that they think might suit you, they will contact you, not vice-versa (although you can of course apply for particular jobs yourself through them). Overall a very friendly company that I would recommend to anyone in the IT industry, especially in the south of England.

Spectrum IT are a friendly recruitment agency who actually take the time to get to know their candidates and clients. I have been working with them now for 18 months, and they have placed my with 2 clients. The consultants are polite, friendly and professional and have the requisite knowledge to he able to advise you and the client on whether you are a good fit for that client. This saves a lot of time on unnecessary interviews. Their back office team are professional, diligent and responsive. The whole compliance process is smooth and efficient. They are also active in the industry hosting regular meets (physical in the past and now, virtual).
