I just picked up the last few pieces from Archive 12 and had to share this review! I knew I wanted to look here for my dress as I LOVED everything this shop stood for regarding style, vibe, how you should feel wedding dress shopping and how your party isn’t the ones who need to love your dress…you are! I was nervous at the idea of shopping as I didn’t think I’d see anything I liked and wanted something a bit more relaxed than a typical dress. Turns out…I loved everything I tried on at Archive 12. The dresses are so stunning, flattering and beautifully made. Sarah & Claire are pros at creating a lovely, chilled environment and really did put me at ease. I felt like I was trying on dresses with a bunch of pals. We went back for bridesmaids dresses and had a fab experience yet again. Highly, highly recommend shopping here for a truly unique, relaxed and fun experience wedding dress shopping!

I loved this shop so much I bought two dresses (one for my wedding in France and another for our civil ceremony at home) ❤️ Claire and Sarah are a dream, they made me feel so comfortable and at ease and under zero pressure to make any quick decisions. The designers they stock are so unique and come in a range of sizes that will make any person feel amazing. Wish I could get married again just to hang out and try on all those beautiful dresses!

I visited archive 12 today for a made to order, ready to wear and bridesmaid appointments. Claire was phenomenal in helping me choose the perfect dress. There was no pressure and the vibe was completely relaxed, exactly what I had envisioned. I was very anxious about this appointment - my first bridal appointment! Sarah looked after my appointment and I felt completely at ease almost instantly! I can’t thank Sarah enough for how well she looked after me and listened to me. Traveled 2 and a half hours each way for this appointment and even if I didn’t come home with a dress, it would have been worth it. Luckily enough, I managed to find my dream dress on the day! The whole experience was wonderful and honestly could not have been any better! Cannot recommend Archive 12 enough!

Archive 12 was, in a word, a dream! I had my eye on a particular dress and Claire and Sarah never minded my questions and queries about it, always happy to help and provide information. My experience here was amazing. Wedding dress shopping for me was so daunting, archive 12 was the first shop I visited and I felt instantly relaxed and started enjoying it. I thought finding a dress i loved would be really difficult, I've never wanted a "typical" looking wedding dress and I'd never come across one that I was fussed on, until i visited here. I ended up wearing a two piece and fringing down the sleeves and it felt incredible (and i definitely could have picked a plan B and C!) I had such a wonderful experience with Archive 12 and am delighted to have found a dress I feel comfortable and confident in. I would be quite anxious so it was nice to get in early and have the place to ourselves and figure out a choice of what works in a quiet, calm atmosphere. I was so nervous and worried about what my body would look like in a wedding dress for the first time but the girls were so lovely and encouraging (and bonus helped me keep it cool with my mum’s opinions haha)

Huge shoutout to Sarah and Clare for stocking my dream dress! I had two appointments with Sarah who was so lovely and made me feel super relaxed and comfortable. Splashing the cash on a wedding dress can be a major deal (I was in the sweats) but Sarah made it all feel seamless and the attention to detail was second to none. The store is gorgeous, the changing room is massive and the range of dresses is curated perfectly! All I need now is to walk down the aisle and I know I'll be feeling like the best version of me and I can't wait.

The only boutique I went dress shopping at and the dresses are stunning. Sarah was amazing at getting my vibe and helping me follow my gut on picking my dress. Loved so many of the styles offered and the one I went with was not at all what I thought I would leave with. Love a good surprise pick and I can’t wait to wear it in August 🤍

Super cool decor and just what you could want out of a laid back, modern bridal store. Had the best visit to Archive 12 post Covid, Claire made me feel so comfortable and took into consideration all that I wanted from a dress. Due to circumstances, everyone must wear a mask throughout, use hand sanitisers, and can only bring 1 guest - which was perfectly fine for me as I felt it helped with non essential opinions (so would not let this put you off any visits to bridal shops as it works out better in the end). Claire's knowledge of the dresses is wonderful, as well as the knowledge of the customers wedding has the nice personal touch! After just a short amount of time with me, she found the dress I said Yes to. I am so excited to be an Archive 12 bride.

I can not recommend Claire at Archive 12 enough - such a cool, down-to-earth girl with an awesome shop! The selection of bridal dresses is phenomenal...especially for a alternative and ethically conscious bride! I'm so obsessed with my dress and I cannot wait to wear it. My bridesmaids also loved Claire's vibes and we have choose to dress them from the Rewritten collection. Archive 12 has the coolest collection of wedding dresses you'll find in Ireland. Super inclusive, always laid back, no pushy sales tactics. Claire the owner is all about empowering brides to make the best choice for themselves, and not succumbing what others might expect of them. Hands down the best decor too...the complete opposite of what you might expect to see in a traditional bridal shop. Well worth a visit!

I have been to Archive 12 twice as a bridesmaid and again as a bride. It’s such a lovely experience, Clare is absolutely fab! Amazing selection of really cutting edge gowns that are super stylish. Clare gave fantastic advice to me as a bride when I was stuck between two dresses at different stores and was so impartial. If you’re getting married - go here!

I had such an amazing experience here! Claire was the most warm, friendly and knowledgeable bridal store owner through all of my time shopping for my dress. Not at all pushy and my family and I were so relxaed throughout and had such a lovely time. I knew the rewritten collection was exactly what I wanted for my gals and Claire came through, knowing what would look great on each of them! Claire was so brill I knew I only wanted her for my wedding dress too so I nabbed a spot in Rolling in Roses trunk show and got my pick of what was the brand new collection which I loved cause I knew that had 2 pieces (HELLO REWEARABLES) 😍😍 THEN Claire had a sample sale on a couple of her bridesmaids pieces and I knew a rewritten green 2 piece would be perfect for my mum (and it obviously was) I was super clear on my requirements and Claire nailed all of them! - ethical/sustainable - rewearable (proud outfit repeater) - not cost a bomb All in, 10/10 would recommend Claire for all your bridal/bridesmaids/MOB/MIL needs!!

Such a lovely experience, the most gorgeous dresses and accessories. Claire is just a lovely person to deal with. I travelled from Kerry to Belfast and must say it was well worth the trip. Loved and still love my dress. My sister got her bridesmaid dress there too and has already reworn it a few times. Only wish I had an excuse to go back to Archive 12 every year!

Where do I start? Store: Super easy location to get to in Belfast area (my Family was able to drive here from Co.Tyrone) and street parking beside. Very unique and cosy atmosphere/layout where you get the whole store to yourself during appt. Dresses: In my opinion noone about Belfast/NI has such a high level of quality/quantity of bohemian style dresses for girls who want to be a bride but not a typical bride. Claire: Incredible stylist, she made me feel at ease the moment I walked through the door as I was very nervous. We could nosey at the collection and Claire pulled the dresses we liked and didn't put any pressure on us to hurry or select a certain dress. In the fitting room she helped put on and take of dresses and we had a laugh throughout. When walking out and looking at the dress in the big mirror she let you take it all in and didn't "agree or disagree" with you for the sake of it, gave her honest opinion. Price: Brilliant, the dress I fell for was incredible and my appointment cost was taken of the price of dress. Overall: Amazing I couldn't recommend Archive12 any higher as it was the easiest experience ever after hearing all the dress hunting horror stories from friends! Fortunately for me it was my 1st Bridal Store and I said yes to the dress ☑️

Niki helped me to pick out dresses and was more interested in wanting me to feel good in my dress rather than trying to get a sale. Unreal bohemian bridal store just outside of Belfast city centre. So many amazing gowns to choose from and the fashion industry background of the owner lent itself to really constructive and honest advice on what to wear for my shape. The store itself is an Instagram dream too! Five stars!

Pretty small. Attended a sale due to start at 12, people leaving with bags when I arrived at 12. Didn't have the dress advertised so guess it was sold before 12. that was a bit annoying. A wasted 2 hour drive to get there. I'm guessing there is usually a better collection if you go outside of these sale days but not certain. Staff seemed friendly though and they had some different stuff than you see in a lot of places. No puffballs thankfully.
