A stadium tour of Villa Park is an experience not to miss out, especially if you're an Aston Villa supporter. You come around the entire Villa Park; changing rooms, Players Lounge, the press room, lounges and executive boxes, etc etc. The guides are really good at telling, and their knowledge of the club, history, stadium, etc is enormous. They tell and answer questions, so you'll get a great knowledge of Aston Villa. The whole tour is spiced with for example old team pictures on the walls, exhibition of trophies etc. Great experience - remember your camera!

I sat in the away section (Q). Was impressed by the quality of the ground, and the stewards were all friendly. A major disappointment to me and my thirsty companions was no beer served inside the stadium - so be sure to hit the nearby pub (CAP & GOWN) before you enter if that matters. As for the match itself, Tottenham walloped Aston Villa 4-0, making the 2+ hour drive back to London an absolute pleasure...

First up, I'm not a Villa fan, so I don't have an axe to grind! Recently been to The Emirates (modern, and quite impressive, but ultimately has all the character of a hotel), and to Old Trafford (a big disappointment, really scruffy). So to Villa Park. Amazing! An old school stadium, oozes history, but most of it has been rebuilt in the last 20 years!!! The Holte End and it's Aston Villa sign in mosaic shows what a little sympathy can do. There are 4 separate stands, open at the corners, just like grounds of old. Yet this ground is as modern as they come. Have you ever felt that strange feeling walking into a cathedral or an old castle, steeped in history? That's Villa Park. Weird!

Great selection of clothing etc in the shop but queques were long but was very surprised how fast they went, could do with more staff on the floor to help people with sizes etc but very well laid out definitely going back, bought a villa huddie, t-shirt and bracelet.

The conference spaces are spacious and if you in the one we were at you will also get plenty of light and fantastic views of the pitch.

I have experienced Birmingham City handing the sad avfc a number of beatings on their own rather over-rated ground. I understand some of the stands at vp are facing the wrong way - and this has caused consternation among home fans as it means they have to actually watch what is going on on the pitch...How tragic is that?
