Fantastic looking wedding hall! Much more than meets the eye (from the outside). The food, which was catered by Badshah restaurant, was great. Loved the starters, especially, the tender chicken. Toilet facilities were fine, prayer facilities are small but adequate. Parking doesn't look great but can accommodate all guests. Definitely recommend this wedding hall

A Commonwealth Games, 'must visit' Indian dining experience in a Grade II listed building, within a mile of Alexander Stadium. This place offers superb dining for both large and small groups of customers who seek a great range of authentic Indian cuisine at a VERY reasonable price. The open plan layout of the restaurant with its high vaulted ceiling gives you a unique feel of dining somewhere special. Excellent flavours in perfectly sized portions with a wide range of beverages, this 'Palace' offers tasteful variations on traditional Indian meals with both mild selections for the unfamiliar palette, such as those of my kids, and super flavoured (and/or hot and spicy) options for the experienced palette too. If the place is full, they offer take-away instead, by phone order, turn up and order, or by Deliveroo. If you do come in person, the off-road parking is free too. If you're in the area, you've just GOT to try it...!

Attended for a wedding. Venue was nice and big, well presented. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Parking available although I would recommend getting in early to secure a spot. As guests it was an enjoyable experience.

the site is beautiful, and the meal was delicious. Amit, the waiter, was exceptional. Thank you for being available. However, there are certain areas that may be improved. My family and I had to help set up the favours, bless Amit, he helped but to speed things up, we started setting the favours. The flower pardah had not been set up yet, and it took some time to do so , the guests had arrived, the pardah was still being set up, we had to request for it to be set up. It would have really helped had it already been done. The brides table was dissapointing. No table cloth, just a brown table as an after thought. In terms of the way the food was served, personally I feel two serving trays placed on either side of the tables would have been better as opposed to one in the centre of the table to prevent people from leaning over and this would limit refills. Finally I would like to say thank you, despite the feedback, we were made to feel extremely welcomed, Shaleem the owner was at hand, the staff were lovely particularly Amit. Very professional. The food was perfect. I would use them again. All in all everything turned out well Alhamdullilah.

Everything was good, food was good only problem is if your with kids they need Internet to play games or even some people want to send pictures or videos of the wedding to thier family members. Unfortunately about 5 staff members were asked about the password for Internet no one helped with that.

Once a beautiful cinema hall and now and exquisite dining experience. We went midweek and it was very quiet but meant we were waited on hand and foot. All courses where perfectly cooked and equally delicious. I would suggest going for the three course meal option, as this will ensure you get to try dare lamb chops and reach Currys finishing off with a strawberry waffle dessert. Great work guys!

I mean its ok, not the greatest. Came here for a wedding and it good parking facilties. The venue itself looked quiet messy with random furniture everywhere. The entrance and stairs definitely need a good clean but in dire need of hoovering! Overall it does the job!

I love the way this grade two listed Art Deco place has been restored, retaining its former glory with their new additions. The ambience was lovely this evening as they had a small wedding in the main dining area. We had a banquet meal tonight with a selection of starter and mains. The food was well presented and tasted lovely. This is an ideal place for parties and intimate dinners. Highly recommend!

Booked here through the Groupon offer, didn't know it was a restaurant thought it was just a banqueting suite. So glad we did! The food was beautiful. The starter portion size was enough for 2 people. The service of our waiter was second to none. Went with his recommendation and was so happy I did. Food was gorgeous. Flavour was spot on. Even the mocktail was lovely. Can't fault anything and will definitely be returning. Decor inside was lovely too and booths were private so you can eat without feeling self conscience. 4.5 stars. Provided external catering services for a family wedding. They did an excellent job. The food was lovely and was praised by all the guests. Shelim and his business partner were excellent people to work with, very professional and genuinely nice guys. I would give this 5 stars but on the day the naan was warm but not hot (perhaps because it was at an external location rather than their own venue) and the lamb karahi wasn't the same as it was on the taster session, but was still very good. Still very pleased with the service, the starters and deserts especially were exceptionally good. I will be using their services again inshaAllah.

Lovely & quite place to munch 😋 the interior takes you back down to some Havelis in Rajasthan and Jodhpur, you get that feel, though it's been operated by Bengalis they could add more to there Menu and make that place more welcoming to all communities rather then sticking to just Bangladeshi Menu

Food was delicious, however the service was a little undesired. There was one older gentleman who really was running the whole floor with the younger ones looking a little confused. There was no specific waiter to an area hence us vocally asking for menus, water and the cup of tea my mum requested at the beginning. I do appreciate that the manager did come and apologise. Please do ensure that there is uniformity between all staff and that the menus do come to customers rather than leaving staff to ask. It is also common sense to supply drinks prior to food, especially when there are children present.

The place was nice service was good. The social distancing was not bad. The veg was not hot enough. As the meat came on a skellet it should have come out spitting hot but it was just warm. The food was nice the rice was different and the meat was quite spicy. Overall it was a good place to eat and plenty of parking. I would go again but choose a curry dish next time.

What a great evening! Thankyou! 1.We pre booked a table 2.on arrival self explanatory guides and sanitiser stations available throughout. 3. Staff in ppe friendly and accommodating 4. Menus set on table order was a funny one as my guest was vegan so chef prepared an amazing dish for him. We as in others there eat all sorts so he was the odd one but very well accommodated . taken and fresh 5. Great overall service, hospitality. WELL RECOMMENDED :)

Beautiful place. Greate ambience. And if we talk about taste.. Mocktails are good, waffle icecreams are super tasty, starters are good and meat biryani is fine too. BUT.. curries.. please.. don't even dare trying Butter chicken and similar curries which they say are mild in taste! Because they are too sweet in taste. Rest everything is fine. It's worth paying atleast one visit.

Fantastic food and wonderful decor. Don’t listen to the fake reviews posted by uncultured gammons watching exaggerated daytime trash. Noise should be kept at a minimum (cars) but not that big an issue. Really enjoyed the event, shame the area is full of closet facists.

My niece got married on 21 July 18 and the reception was held here. We were well pleased with the overall service provided. The welcome drinks were most welcomed by our guests as it was a hot day. Food was excellent. Service by the waiters was magnificent. For manager,Raj, he was most helpful. Only improvement I would suggest should be to the PA system specially in the front by the stage. Otherwise it was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all our 600 guests. Thanks all involved.

Booked a restaurant reservation for a family get together soon after brother's wedding. Easy to book, paid deposit a week in advance and then attended on a busy Saturday. Only issue I would say they have is parking. Only 2 out of the 5 cars we arrived in could be parked inside their park, the rest were on side roads. It's a relatively clean and nice looking hall/restaurant. Prices are ok compared to other places but in my opinion everything tasted better. The waiters were quick and kept asking me if we needed anything else. I was very happy with the service. Approximately £290 spent on feeding approximately 20 people. Overall very happy and will be coming back again.

It's a really beautiful restaurant that is worth a visit, especially if you like Indian cuisine. Food is delicious, decor is stunning, the only downfall is that the actual dining hall is upstairs and there is no lift. Also, they should consider investing into good quality cutlery and plates.

4 stars because the venue is simply magnificent. Service was good as was presentation and food was decent. Disappointed by the milkshakes, which I expected to be made with ice cream but it was just milk and whipped cream. Desserts were the biggest disappointment though. Strawberry waffle is basically one of these rectangular packet waffles from a 6 pack, with one or two strawberries sliced up on top, a scoop of ice cream and a squirt of whipped cream on the side. Sort the menu out and you're 5 star.

I attended a wedding here. The venue was decorated perfectly and the food was brilliant. However, the food service was rushed and they served half full trays for the mains. The refills for starters was quick but not so much for mains. They started clearing the tables away and setting up for the next day while we were still there. Completely inappropriate when the venue was paid for use until a certain time. This caused slight disruptions to our celebrations. The waiters barely spoke which came across as rude.

Nice place, helpful staff. I left my credit card wallet on a table, and a few days later got a call asking me to pick up my cards. Thank you! The venue itself is on the main Walsall Road, with parking at the rear. Would recommend this venue for both large and small events.

Really nice hall for your big events. It has some space outside which is not used in winter but can be absolutely amazing to spend time in warm season. Especially liked the work of the stuff - very fast and professional. Didn't like the toilets though (less space, baby changing room is too cold and stinky) but that is not the major thing. We found parking slot quite easily but the space is limited. Make sure you know where guests can leave their cars. Overall, I do recommend it for weddings, corporate parties, etc.

Went with hubby for a relaxing evening and we were both very pleased. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The waiter selled the place very well and informed us of the services they offer. We were amazed by the setting - very chich and glamorous. The food was outstanding, as a started I had a cheese tikka and as a main tikka masala. I never enjoyed a sweet dish this much. It was such great value for money with the groupon voucher. really loved my dish especially the garlic naan. Highly reccomend.

Went to a wedding here, the food was standard and nothing special. Venue itself was good but parking a real nightmare. We parked on one of the side streets of Birmingham Road. The venue does have prayer hall along with a wudu facility which is good.

We received a groupon for this restaurant as a gift. What a gift! The venue is absolutely breathtaking. Beautifully and elegantly decorated, great ambience and lighting. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the food... wow! We opted for a few items off the normal menu as opposed to the groupon menu, however our starters were on the groupon menu: mutton chops and chicken pakora. Wow... absolutely amazing! Then we had chicken tikka masala and lamb Biryani as mains with naan and pilau rice, again gorgeous! Couldn't fault the food at all. We were so full we opted out of the desserts and were given a complementary drink instead. Amazing. Will definitely return and happily pay full price! Highly recommend.

Visually appealing from the outside and the moment you enter. It has a beautiful chandelier dangling from the ceiling of the grand hall to enlight your event to be held here. It is suitable for most occasions. It also has its own restaraunt to accompany the grand hall.

hi I attending a wedding in April 10 2017.I hate no we're to sit...my feet were aching so sat on the floor...I was so hungry but I'm the end had a little good sitting on my knees...I needed a spare chair but staff were too busy ...starter was tasty but nver got food to eat properly as you should at a wedding..but met Asif Khan in the and so that made my day...btw the welcome mango drink was nice...sadly the slush wasn't free didn't have cash on me so my daughter want home crying. ..there wasn't anyone cast machines outside to withdraw anyway still a lovely venue...just staff abit stuck up
