Phenomenal venue. Great live music hosting a variety of artists. There will be something for every taste. Went to their JAMU night which was a great evening of old school hip hop MCs, a brilliant saxophonist, and freestyle mastery!

Not a bad little bar, with a couple floors and a roof terrace. They host a guest kitchen currently serving vegetarian kebabs, which were quite tasty. The drinks selection was a bit disappointing, but quite cheap especially during the rather long happy hour. They run a lot of events here, e.g. music and live comedy. Overall I'd say it's a good venue if you're going to one of these shows, but I wouldn't be racing there just for drinks.

Great buzzy atmosphere, even on a Sunday when we went. Lots of friendly people, staff were nice and helpful for us who were new to Bristol. Drinks are well priced, has a dance floor and outdoor area which is a bit quieter.

Bloody good laugh. Went for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Spent most of my time in the garden. Gets very busy but what good venue doesn't. Bar staff were efficient enough. Even when it's 6 deep at the bar you won't be waiting linger than 5 or 6 minutes to get a round in.

Proper live music venue, great noodles and reasonable prices for city centre bar as well as drink offers. DJs and party atmosphere after live music (which is at least 6 times a week). Friendly staff, mostly young customers but all welcome. Very busy Friday/Saturday. Open mic Wednesday. Singer songwriter Monday, mostly acoustic but some bands.

Lively bar for live music. They host different music nights so there's usually something for everyone. There is a main area for the live music and then another area where you can eat and drink if not interested. Sadly if you're not interested in the music it does carry through the place, and can be quite load. The noodles are a good option to go for in this place.

Small intimate music venue. Well stocked bar with lagers, ciders, wines and spirits. Cocktails available 2 for £8 until a certain time (think it was 10pm) £3 entry fee and doormen on hand. Bar in off the street with entertainment stage through the back of the bar. Polite staff. Went on a Thursday night and can imagine it could get very packed depending on the night or act that is on so would advise to get here earlier rather than later if you want to save a spot.

With all the restrictions in place I think Mr. Wolves are doing a great job. The atmosphere is great, they still had a DJ with good music. The upstairs terrace is lovely, the staff are lovely.

Seems to be the venue we end up at the end of most nights out. Smoking area is excellent, but the dancefloor is only OK. Music is not bad, bit doesn't leave a lasting impression. Dropped some rating points as you have to pay £4 to get in, and that just doesn't feel worth it to me. Needless to say, I know I'll be dragged there again soon

First time I've been to the new location. A quality kind of grimy (this is good), bar is bad (this is also good), and a good ratio of posers, music enthusiasts and people who are in the wrong place that were on a stag/hen do/wedding. Busier after 10,30pm due to the large amount of people coming in that were definitely not going out tonight...

It's so nice to still find a venue in Bristol where local music is still valued and given a stage to perform. Quentin is a very welcoming, fun host. Enjoyed my evening there! We didn't eat, but the noodles smelled delicious and several friends enjoyed them! Slightly biased as my beautiful, very talented granddaughter Lily B was performing! She's an amazing singer/songwriter! Watch this space! It's a small venue so I imagine it can get quite packed. My only concern is the toilets...clean but a bit of DIY and TLC definitely needed! Keep it up Mr. Wolf's! 👍👍👍

Was an average club, fine when drunk. Some of the guys were a bit grabby with the girls I was with, but is sadly to be expected. I'd recommend getting a different DJ, his record skips ruined the flow and he was rude.

This club is average... I mean it's a club with a dj who can dj but due to venue restraints is unable to dive into the true depths of his musical talent. The guys from make friends were there. They are a good band. The club is also ok.

Lovely place, I've only been there twice. The first time, artists were graffiting the walls to dubstep and you got a free shot at the door. The second time, my mate asked for green tea, they didn't have it on the menu so the barmaid took it from her own stash, for free.

Live music venue/club conveniently located within the heart of Bristol. I have been here many times and Mr Wolf's quite commonly becomes the inevitable sink hole within which my own, and so many groups gravitate into on a weekend night out. Always an okay visit however it is frequently, very overcrowded so forget any notions of finding somewhere to sit.. or drink.. or converse..

mr wolfs is a little hide away gem that you can bump into on a late night out. they have live music weekly so if your looking for a few songs to add to your playlist this is your best bet for the cities local vocals. its also a heavy boozer bar and can get very lively through the night which gives it this unforgetable atmosphere. food is also served here in the form of a great noodle menu, and the drinks are at a decent price for the location too. overall this is a really nice place to lose some time in.

Mr wolf's is a little gem find. For a grotty little bar just a stone throw away from the harbour, it's perfectly situated. If you're looking for a bar to roll into, have a boogie and listen to music in a place that actually has some character then this is a much better alternative to any of the competitors in that area of Bristol. It's quite small, and is mostly quite lively so be prepared for a pint or two to be spilled literally all over you.

Mr Wolfs has a great diverse mix of nights on, and open mic night. It's quite a small venue but this works well as it's quite intimate, popular with students. I found the bouncers to be rude on an occasion but the great noodles make up for it.

Went here on a random pub crawl and was pleasantly surprised - sitting dangerously close to vodka revolution and slug and lettuce you would suspect that that places slightly rowdy (at 2am) crowd would have all decided to move here but no .. the door staff are very good at ensuring the right people go in so if your absolutely smashed and shouting alot you may find it hard to get in but if your a quiet drunk that respects the people around you they'll let you in with open arms and point you to their nice dance floor and many drinks on offer .. music was good too and someone gave me a hat.

Mr wolfs is still good but will never be as good as it was before it moved location, it just doesn't have the same atmosphere any more and does not suit live music atall like it used to. I'm sure it was not intended to change but the space before was intimate and the bands always sounded great, unfortunately it just isnt quite as good now.

Wolfs is a old school spot and one of the long running local businesses which is part also run by the owner of Bar 51 I hear in stoke croft. Great vibes as always and perfect for music, drinks and a social!

Our group visited on a Friday night in late January on the recommendation of our server at the Bavarian Beerhouse, it was not quite the jumping venue that we had been led to believe - but I'm willing to put it down to a combination of dry-January, post-Christmas-blue and it being about 5 degrees below zero at the time. Though this did mean we had a table to ourselves on arrival, I'd be intersted to head back to try their vegan tempura prawns that were advertised on the specials board. On the downsides the toilets were an utter tip as someone had somehow mistaken the toilet brush holder for the toilet bowl.
