An absolute must visit experience. I went as part of a stag do and the staff could not have been more attentive, we had the most fantastic time. The setup and paintball games you play are well thought out, fun and brilliantly executed. A stunning experience and would recommend to all!

This place was amazing! Our stag party went two days in a row. (Paintballing one day then It's and Knockout the second day). The staff were all a really good crowd. Each of them were great sports and a real laugh to be around. Could not fault the experience and would highly recommend visiting here.

My son had his 13th birthday here on Sat the 25th. Staff were welcoming and gave my son and his friends a fantastic experience. Matthew who was one of the staff was on my son's team and gave him loads of advice and guidance throughout their game. Would definitely recommend

This was my first time going paint balling and my first time going to this place. I didn’t really know what to expect going here but I’m truly so happy I did as it was outstanding, honestly what a great day I had. The people who work there are so professional and helpful, the reason I put all this in is I suffer from ulcerative colitis and on a bad day if you need to find a toilet you need to do this quickly. I spoke with someone there once I arrived and said this to the gentleman in private as it’s embarrassing for me but he was so understanding and incredibly helpful he showed me around, showed me where I would need to go if an issue accrued, he then said once the teams are picked he would mention this to the marshals who take you to the course and who oversee all the games. So after we geared up another really great member of staff came over to me and introduced himself and asked if I was ok and said if you need to go just inform him and he will get me back in from the course immediately etc. there were several rounds we did and after each round they checked in with me to make sure I was ok and to see if I needed anything. Now that’s incredibly and unbelievably professional and going above and beyond to ensure I had a great day and I really did it was amazing. So I will finish here with a massive thank you to all the staff at Battlezone here in Edinburgh today the 18/6/22. So I definitely highly recommend going here and if you suffer with an issues you will know your in good hands here.

Went here as part of a large hen party and it did not disappoint! Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Staff were friendly, full of fun and they were well organised which made it seamless between activities. However, the reason I have knocked off a star is due to there being little to no access to a toilet. I was part of a large group of women, who had booked months in advance, the only ladies toilet had a sign saying out of order. A few of the party attempted to use the mens facilities instead but had to turn tail and run at the grim conditions! Toilets were unflushed and absolutely vile. On speaking to the staff a few ladies were directed to some bushes over a small hill at the back where they could relieve themselves without anyone seeing, which isn't really on considering how much they charge per head. If they could fix the ladies toilets and perhaps introduce regular cleaning checks throughout the day it would be five stars for sure!

Went in a group of 8 to play Airsoft. They provide you with coverall & masks as part of your £25 pp. Really enjoyed it, had good quality fun. The marshal was amazing throughout the activity. The different zones were decent too. 1000 pellets were more than enough for the 2 hour session but its upto you if you want to Rambo it. Thanks again guys 👍

Was here on my stag do and it was brilliant. Only negative is more free bullets needed as we wasted them all on the first game. Staff was brilliant and was good target practice. Hehe. Hot dog was phenomenal

I had a great time and I will recommend this to anyone who asks where to go paintball in Edinburgh lothians and fife. I have done many places and this one was the most memorable one. We are 100% going to be coming back in July and going to be doing the buggy’s soon. All the customer experience I received was amazing I don’t leave many reviews but felt like this place deserved one!

Attended the axe and knife throwing and it was a great laugh. Weather was the usual Scottish 4 seasons in an hour but Joe, very pleasant gent, provided us with boots and gloves to navigate the mud. The hour went by in what seemed like a minute, it was genuinely one of those time flies when you're having fun experiences and I'll definitely be heading back for more and probably some of the other available activities too.

Went and did the knife and axe throwing, it was loads of fun, the guys help out with no pressure, really relaxed atmosphere, you get to throw axes, knives an small axes, they made it lots of fun. The other half was pretty apprehensive about going but she really enjoyed herself too. Theres plenty of covid measures in place, so no need to worry about that. It's a nice open outdoor space.

Fantastic place. Really great battleground area. The instructor Joe was very pleasant, but most safety conscious. I was worried at first that I might be an embarrassment to my grandson, but forgot about all that after the first minute. I had a great time playing with the kids. Great value.

Fantastic quad biking course - loads of humps, bumps, water and MUD. Ross and Simon were excellent guides, a good laugh and taught us a great deal too.

Come here to do the archery and the knife/axe throwing which last one hour for each activity. It was good fun and staff were helpful and flexible for our needs. Not tried other activities, so no comments for these services. The facilities overall were OK, but not very impressive. It could be improved and modernized. The location is far away from the town, and you need driving the car or use taxi to get there.

Played Airsoft for a birthday treat. 10 teenagers. Had a blast. Highly recommend. (Airsoft hurts less than paintball, and is cheaper!)

The review I left for them through the email they send out after the day read like this: The day was great and the 2 guys that hosted the day did a fab job. My criticism is the pricing structure, or more precisely the "deals" that are sold. We received a day for 4 people paintballing as a gift. The day included 100 balls. To someone that is buying this as a gift my think that they are getting a great deal, however in reality a typical day would require 500 balls at least (this is mentioned in the emails you receive once booked). We arrive on the day and are told of the deals that are available for buying extra balls ( we were told we had the 100 and would get them after game 3 I think) they did explain that we were under no obligation to buy any extra but not sure what we would do until we received the 100. So the offer was something like 100 for £8, 200 for £15, 500 for £30 and 1000 for £50. Oh and we couldn't share... So I asked for 500 for each of the 4 of us, £120. We were given the 500 and then I asked when do we get the original 100 each. "oh these are included in the 500!" I was lost for words. I wonder what would have happened if I'd bought 100!! Great fun but please go expecting to spend a few quid. Also, if you do get gifted a deal which has lunch included, this was hot dogs but no Vegi option" you need to tell us before you come". The guy did get a free packet of crisps...

Friendly and helpful staff, the place was a little tricky to find and the weather was pretty rough on our day there but was still a still an awesome day out, I would reccomend bringing your own mask to get more out of the experience. Definitely going again.

We took part in the "It's a Knockout" event and it was really fun - the team at Battlezone are very dedicated to getting you as wet as possible, but that was all part of the banter! Our group was on a company summer day out and I highly recommend for any group looking to have a bit of competition and silliness.

My son's 13th birthday paintball party. The staff is dedicated to deliver an excellent service and make a day very special. Good value for money, the package offered included everything, no hidden costs (be carefull not to drop your hopper, though), excellent communication prior to the event. The boys are happy, highly recommended

My partner and I had a fantastic time at Battlezone. The games were great fun and well designed. Also our instructors Hannah and Cammy did a great job. They were enthusiastic and likeable, and added to our enjoyment of the day.

Lots of really good games and gaming areas. The Marshall's really make sure that everyone is having a good and safe time. The time just flies by and before you know it your hot, bruised and sweaty... But loving it!!

Excellent site, friendly, accommodating staff, will be back for another airsoft walk-on day in the near future, maybe need a bit of tweaking on game zones but that will all come with experience of larger numbers of players
