This is a truly special house owned by truly special people. My husband and I were fortunate to get married here in July 2022. Due to living abroad and the pandemic, we booked our wedding here without ever seeing the venue, and two years passed before I could have a family member in the area go for a visit. The Dalrymple family welcomed my now sister-in-law with open arms and gave her an amazing tour that made me feel so much better about our booking. Then, I got to see the venue myself a few months later, and it was so much better than I could have imagined. The house feels like a home — it is cozy and well-loved, and does not feel stale or unapproachable as large houses can. The rooms are stunning, as are the grounds and the garden. We had the most memorable wedding day here, which included brief visits from the Dalrymples, who was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We will remember our experience at Oxenfoord for the rest of our lives and it will always hold the most special place in our hearts. Thank you so much, Harriet and Michael.

Stunning location, perfect for Weddings Company events, launches.

We're staying in the house keeper rooms, a spacious self catering apartment on the top floor. Fabulous views over parkland. Saw roe deer, pheasants, hares, many birds including house Martins nesting in the turrets opposite.

Beautiful Castle with amazing grounds for dog walks, aslong as u stay on the signed walkways. Please remember to ckean up after your dog too !!!! Some people still seem to forget.
