The girls in Brides in the City are honestly phenomenal. The experience I had here was brilliant & nothing like I’d experienced dress shopping elsewhere. I immediately felt comfortable and excited to start shopping. A big thank you to Catelyn for helping me find my dream dress! She was honestly amazing and went above and beyond. She let me choose and try any dress I wanted from the rack, didn’t rush me at all and I felt so at ease with her as my stylist. I think I tried on the whole shop in my first visit because I loved them all! 🙈 She arranged another appointment for me to come back a week later with all my special ladies and my lovely granny to officially say yes to the most perfect dress! 🤍 Thank you so much girls for making it such a special experience that I can treasure forever. Visited Brides in the City on my own on Thursday, was a bit worried as I didn't know how much choice I would have being a bit bigger but I didn't feel restricted at all with choice & only 1 of the dresses I tried was a bit too small but it was able to be pinned to that it looked right from the front. When leaving I thought I had found "the one" then came back with my bridesmaids & mum on Sunday & fell in love with a totally different dress. All the girls were absolutely amazing, so lovely & helpful with anything we wanted or needed. They put up with me changing my mind & had no issues whatsoever. I did say yes to my dress & they then gave us some time to celebrate together, chill out & get comfortable in My Dress! ❤️ Could not recommend Brides in the City enough to anyone getting married!

I visited Brides in the City and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Cara was absolutely amazing in listening to what I like and helping me find my perfect wedding dress. I chose something completely different to what I expected to like but it is perfect. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun and exciting and every member of staff was absolutely amazing. I was quite nervous but as soon as we starting picking out dresses and popping them on I was having the best time. If you're unsure of where to start looking, then definitely go here (you'll probably not need to look anywhere else). Had a lovely appointment with Cara this afternoon. I really didn't know what I wanted and was a bit worried of being squeezed into samples that didn't fit me after a bad previous experience! However, Brides in the City had a great range of samples in bigger sizes and for a range of budgets. They really do have some stunning dresses in the shop and a really good range of shapes and styles. Cara was so patient and helpful, pulling out dresses that she thought I would like so that I could figure out what I wanted. Although I'm not sure I found the one for me, it was such a great and helpful experience and I've got a much better idea of what I like and what suits me.

I was very nervous going in as I am plus size but the team made me feel so at ease and helped me in to dresses that I thought would never fit me. I visited here with my bridesmaids and mum's back in February 2020 and we had a fantastic experience! I was rather overwhelmed to start with due to the large variety in dresses but Cara was amazing at helping me find my perfect dress! She was so friendly and very knowledgeable with what styles would suit my figure best. I was very fortunate to find my dress really quickly as we kept coming back to the same one- despite trying other styles to double check. The selection in bridesmaids dresses was amazing too! Again- a very quick process as we all fell in love with the same style and colour almost instantly. At the time I didn't realise how lucky we really were to have the full experience of dress shopping as we went into lockdown a few weeks later. Visited Brides in the City who were welcoming and helpful from the very beginning. Charlotte was very good at listening to what my initial thoughts were on my dream wedding dress and helped pick out a few dresses for me to try on. Charlotte helped me to feel at ease during quite a nervewracking time! She was so good in easing any worries and answering any questions I had about the dresses. I’d been into another bridal shop a few hours before my appointment at Brides In The City & it wasn’t the best experience. I left thinking I was never going to find a dress at all & didn’t feel confident about my body. As soon as I arrived at BITC I felt more at ease, a much more inviting & chilled environment, then when I met my consultant I relaxed instantly. She was absolutely amazing & made me feel so comfortable. Super approachable & friendly & so so accommodating. My nerves disappeared & it was the most fun & enjoyable experience! I really enjoyed being able to browse around the store myself & look at all the dresses before trying any on. Becky was so helpful & just made me feel beautiful! I went from having zero confidence to feeling like an absolute queen. If it wasn’t for her I think my experience would’ve been completely different. Such a sweet & genuine lady! The other girls in store were all so lovely & not judgemental in the slightest, each popping in to compliment me in the dress! My bridesmaids absolutely loved the experience too. Could not recommend this store enough. The staff are just amazing & there’s such a great selection of dresses to choose from. Beautiful shop & an all round amazing day!

Yesterday I visited Brides in the City for the first time and I am delighted that I found my perfect Wedding dress! Each member of staff I encountered were so friendly and pleasant and genuinely seemed to really enjoy what they do. My Consultant was Catelyn who was superb, she listened to everything I said and wanted and in the end, her spontaneous choice of dress was the one I said yes to. It wasn’t anything I’d ever pick up but after trying it on, I fell in love. I love that I can customise the dress to exactly how I want it. I went to BITC yesterday, I honestly could not fault Taylor, the service I received in the store was phenomenal. She made me feel like I was the only one in there, she did so well with engaging with my Wedding Party as well. I didn’t feel rushed what so ever and she just made me feel at ease the whole time. She even gave me her input on the dresses I tried on. BITC was the first shop I went to and the only shop I went to as I found my DREAM dress there. It’s so beautiful inside. I would 100% recommend going there as it’s an experience that I am going to treasure for the rest of my life. If you get Taylor then you are extra lucky. What an amazing and lovely experience.. Debs was a superstar and chose the perfect styles of dresses for me to try... The dress that made me cry was the One!! Thank you so much... I was feeling very nervous and overwhelmed and they looked after me from the minute I walked in the door. I looked online at Bride in the City's website and walked into the shop with a picture on my phone of a dress I liked. They have so many gorgeous and completely customisable dresses - I am sure you will find something you love. Deborah and her team have such amazing energy and enthusiasm for you. So much girl power and support. Wedding dress shopping can be daunting, but they make you feel at ease. You feel like you are the first bride they have had, and they make you feel so special. I visited Brides in the city as my 3rd bridal boutique and had started to feel I was never going to find the perfect dress with sleeves without settling for a dress with a bolero. Cara was absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble for her and she made me feel like she was one of my bridal party! This appointment was the only one we were allowed to look at the dresses and touch them before trying them on which made a huge difference to our overall experience! Cara was so accommodating and (even though I am the most self conscious person in the world) I did not feel self conscious at any point! I had a wonderful experience today after a less than stellar experience elsewhere. One of the most incredible things about Brides in the City is the range of dress sizes they have for you to try on. Most places have one size of each style and it's usually quite small. Whilst they can't have every dress in every size, they have every style of dress in a size that'll fit you. That has made finding my dress so much easier and I'm so happy I went here. The staff are also incredibly friendly and attentive without being pushy. They'll encourage you to try a couple of different styles but follow your lead on what you want.

She was very helpful and listened to what I was looking for. She also pulled a wildcard for me to try and WOW she definitely knows what she is talking about. Spent a wonderful 2 hours at Brides in the City on Saturday morning. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and me and my guests were made to feel so welcome - with a nice glass of fizz too! Nothing was a problem for Vicky who was assisting me and she had so many great suggestions and information about what tweaks could be made to the dresses. I never felt rushed or like they were looking to make a sale, you could tell these girls just genuinely love helping people find the right outfit for them! Brides in the City have a gorgeous selection of dresses, and while I didn’t ultimately end up getting my dress here I have already recommended them to everyone. I might still come back for the Anastasia gown to wear just for popping out to the shops...!

There is a lot variety of styles but all are very unique designs, classy looking with elegant finishing touches and classic styles with a modern finish and chic. I purchased my veil and other accessories from Brides in the City in early 2018, just missing their opening otherwise I'm sure I'd have found a suitable dress there. The staff are lovely and act more like friends than sales consultants, it feels like your experience and happiness is more important than the sale to them. The prices are brilliant and as time goes on I see that their stock and designs changing. They do regular fashion shows with real girls in real sizes instead of just the "perfect model" size. I'd have no hesitation in recommending visiting the shop even if you've got your dress as they have lots of other little "bits" to finish off a brides outfit. I've also seen the store do a custom brides jumpsuit instead of a dress, now you don't see that every day!

I came to brides in the city after having no luck finding a dress for my big day in another store. Cara met with me and asked what styles I liked and any details I was interested in having my in my dress. she was so welcoming and upbeat that it was immediately a totally different experience to my previous. She took myself and my party to a dressing room and made us all feel at home while she pulled dresses to suit my style. After only 2 dresses I think I had found the one. I tried on others to confirm but she really did hit the nail on the head. I bought the dress of my dreams and the team were absolutely fantastic, they provided lots of alterations details and were not pushy in looking for a sale in the slightest.
