A group of us did archery 🏹 and then Axe throwing another time.🪓 Both were so much fun and the setting is stunning with trees wherever you look! 🌿🌳🦌 Scot, the instructor, is an expert at making the whole experience fun while keeping us safe at the same time. A gem of a find! 🍁

Went as a group of 19 people (adults and children) used the big 8 bed cabin and the little huts, the kids had an absolute ball! The adults had a great time too. Scot is a cool guy and Blake was so nice too. Would defo go back.

We had a fantastic time today 12/11/22 having an archery lesson .Scott is a great instructor and was very understanding with my wife's health issues . Even after a mix up he went out his way to ensure we had a good time , not to mention good banter . Will 100% be back for axe throwing and for more archery as I NEED to try win this time . need to take the trophy back where it belongs 😂

I give it five stars as in spite of minimal facilities, this is closest ever I experienced to wild camping. The site is beautiful and gigantic and has plenty of foliage for some space and privacy. Close to Roman fort hill and Lennoxtown. I absolutely loved it.

Great wild campsite with plenty of on site activities. Stunning views with endless short or long walks through the woods or along the canal. Ideal for mountain biking as well with some hidden gems. So much to do locally you will want to return for sure. Pubs, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Scot the manager was very helpful to. Me, the wife and kids are looking forward to returning soon

Scott is a great instructor!We planned a very last minute hen do that turned out to be a memorable day for all. Scott is not only a great entertainer, he is professional, he knows how to deliver instructions while keeping you safe and he is able to identify any issue you might have for every and each activity. He also prolonged the day for an extra hour, I think we were so engaged with the archery games that he could not possibly end the day earlier. Thank you Scott, from me and the hen do crew!! X

Reasonable priced, friendly & helpfull. Stayed for 2nd time. £20 a night for a garden pod including bed, mattress, camping stove, solar lights & usb point Fresh water & washing sinks. Good for pike & perch fishing. 5*

it was so much fun! scott was very nice and was there from 10.30am until 8pm both days and just worked on site, gave our group lots of space but made sure we knew he was available if need be. i stayed for 2 nights with 6 others. its a big field with an area at the front for parking and some facilities e.g. toilets, shower. the toilets weren't glamorous but what do you expect, they get the job done. nobody in my group used the shower so i can't review that. we were the only ones using the field over the 3 days we stayed which i think made the experience better but it wouldn't take away from it if there were other campers around. there are walks to do in the area, a nice town to explore with a river running through. i loved it, thank you scott! we will be returning soon :)

So, we booked through groupon and were out for our anniversary hubby and I so very competitive. Only the two of us there. Scott met us on arrival and very down to earth approachable instructor. Very knowledgeable and good amount of theory mixed with practice. Apart from being beat on the final arrow, had a thoroughly smashing time. Will book again when back in the area. Brill session. A group of us went paintballing there; the supervisor was excellent and catered the experience as we wanted it. A range of fields to play on and options of fast or slow paintball guns. I understand they also cater for other activities here such as camping, laser tag, archery. Worth visiting the website and getting in touch.

Went couple of times to this nice place for archery and paintballing. In both times Scot, the guy running this place was brilliant. With friendly Scot fun is guaranteed. Would I go back, absolutely yeah. Finally, in both cases it was really worth it and good value for what we spent .
