An excellent venue for Glasgow - the acoustics were fantastic and the sound was excellent. There’s plenty of room in the main entrance area and the bar and toilet queues moved really quickly.
Only reason I’ve not given five stars is that the long hall makes it difficult to move around when it’s packed and the sound production is placed in the middle, and also that the hall gets incredibly hot.
It’s a tricky one to get to if you rely on trains, but there’s plenty of parking around.
R. M.
A fantastic venue, acoustics are great & you're pretty close to the stage but can still seee from the back of hall.
Drink prices weren't bad either, just under £5 for a Gin & Lemonade
I. H.
Been as SWG3 before but first time in the Galvanizers venue there. Excellent sound for both support band (Daytime TV) and the main act (The Amazon's). Staff were great at getting everyone into the venue too. One of the best gigs I've been to in a long time.
M. W.
Easily my favourite venue is Glasgow, and exactly how a multiroom venue should work, no sound bleed between rooms, facilities were nice and clean, freshen up guy was polite, couldn't ask for a better place to go in Glasgow
R. O.
Great gig, we went to see Xavier Rudd and his amazing support brother Bobby Alu 😍 Omggggg what a gig! We were not expecting it from the humble location and building but the lighting, sound technicians, smoke effects… as well as the security… and the very decent bar and toilets were a very pleasant surprise.
Everything felt clean, safe, enjoyable and generally made for a wonderful experience. The only issue was the wait for the taxi- and they even had information on the wall at the entry/exit that provided phone numbers for local cabs, and staff recommended pre booking to avoid the wait so it was ENTIRELY our own fault! Couldn’t fault the place ! ❤️😍
D. H.
Very cool venue. Not that far too reach, a decent walk. The setting is amazing with train tracks in the back and really selling on the feeling of an industrial area. Graffiti on the walls and lots of food options available, though I reckon they're expensive. You're in the UK after all!
W. F.
Great experience, well organised. Friendly staff and security. I am 53 and was there with my daughters, definitely would let them go to any event there without any worries of safety.
D. T.
Great gig venue. Went to see 3 days Grace and 10 years. Acoustics could not fault, any issue with the sound team. Bar on site and toilets etc. Safe surroundings and security team very helpful.
N. B.
Great little venue! My first time in Glasgow to see Ocean Alley live and it was definitely worth it. Small venue so very intimate and I also found a new favorite artist who were supporting act, Will and the people!
D. (. G.
Really Incredibly Clean for a warehouse rave I was very impressed that their was cleaners going around picking up rubbish, this is a very good thing to see I was impressed.
My only downfall about this place Is that there is nowhere to sit down just for 2 minutes for any type of chill out area which needs to be considered,
Also this needs to be addressed If a local taxi firm can be arranged from this venue as it was nearly almost impossible for us to find a taxi to get us back to the hotel where we were staying Especially with wha's been out of the area visitors from Blackpool we don't know local numbers Ones that we found had 3 hour or even 8 waiting lists Maybe a free or a £5.00 settle bus could take peeps from and to the venue to Glasgow train station. I'm coming to trancefest 2022 next year already bought my ticket 🎟 🤪
J. G.
Great wee venue sounds come across very well plenty of bar staff toilets very clean security staff brilliant (photos from Psychedelic Furs)

Premier arts hub in Glasgow. Great music venue and place to start any street art tour.
A. K.
Great night at the Disco wonderland! Massive place to dance around, cheap cloakroom too. Drinks were pricey but where are they not on a night out!
I. M.
Spent new years eve here and it did not disappoint, tunes were banging, sound system was amazing, well stocked bar at standard prices, friendly staff, no massive wait to get in and a well organised cloakroom. Everything you want for a smooth night out to bring in the new year with your crew, would defo recommended and will be back 🔥🔥🔥
C.
Good venue overall, would rate the sound quality a fair 7/10. (I recommend standing near the centre of the room for best sound quality).
Staff are pleasant and happy to help with any questions or directions.
Expect to pay around £4,50 for a pint and £11 for a venom. (Whatever that is)
There is plenty of parking and public transport options nearby.
F. C.
There for the Sasha & Digweed club night. It was well organised, staff were on the ball. Queuing was quick and easily managed. Bar prices were decent and an okay selection although maybe more soft drinks choices.
Had a great night and it's a great venue in a good location with easy access to and from the City. .
L. S.
Great experience Bongos Bingo
Good security team 👏
Bar reasonably priced £10 for a veniom (pint)
£4.50 cider
Long queues at bar best get 3 drinks at a time
Fantastic entertainment crew 👏
S club 7 BIG BIG let down only 2 on stage
T. S. R.
Really lacking mid range in the space, guitars never come across well here but excellent gig and performance from @Thrice nonetheless
L. M.
Been here a couple of times now, firstly to see Tones and I and on this occasion to see Ella Henderson. I really like the venue, never too overcrowded, easy to get parked nearby, don't be mad and park too close to the entrance as it makes for a difficult experience when trying to get back out through the crowd. I personally park a 5 minute walk from it and never had an issue getting out. I do see people parking all the way up to the entrance and thinking they're going to get through the crowd, it doesn't work and can also anger the crowd if they start sounding they're horn. Also likely to get some damage to your car if you don't park a little away from the venue as the road is quite narrow.
C. b.
Amazing experience! The security crew was amazing with helping keep everyone safe and informed. Couldn't have have had a better experience. The only downside was the bar was slightly overpriced. But other than that great night over all!
m. m.
Lovely and helpful staff! The staff member at the cloakroom went above and beyond to help my friend and I!
Just unfortunate the event was poorly planned. We were given the wrong ending time from a member of admin staff which resulted with us both sitting in the dark for 2 hours waiting on our taxis.
Staff were very helpful and kind to us making sure we had a taxi booked though :)
C. F.
Fantastic outdoor venue, amazing space. Felt super safe; staff did a great job with Covid protocols, seating was spaces out, food & drinks were lovely.
J. L.
Loved it. Well managed and organised. No hassle. Good for a gig. Also had a decent sound system.
H. n.
Such a cute venue, especially the outside bit - adds so much ambiance :)
T. G.
Decent place for music. Easy to get to from M8.
L. M.
Great concert venue. Natalie Imbruglia sounded and looked amazing. Danced about the stage all night long. What a great night. Reasonable prices for drinks which was a bonus.
P. G.
Great venue enjoyed the gig very much, was a bit difficult to find and was a treacherous walk down as it was very icy 🥶 underfoot but once there the staff were good plenty bar staff so would go again if there was something on we would go see
A. T.
Loved this venue for accessible seating. Staff were really friendly and helpful in showing us to our seats for the event and checking on us a couple of time before it started to make sure we were comfortable.
M. C.
Great venue, Trancefest was awesome, especially the Vinyl room. Would have got 5 stars but askes for 3 Vodkas n coke, cheeky bar person tried to pull a fast one with vodka only in 2 of them, i noticed before the coke went in, and he/she/them/attack helicopter then put the Vodka in.
S. S.
Great little space for cozy raves and intimate gigs. Get a drink somewhere before you go here though as there are no decent bars inside and what is available is crazy expensive (a tenner for a basic G&T...)
s. s.
Went for a gig here x a really fun space!
J. P.
Attended the Garbriels gig on Friday 21st October. Been to venue several times and enjoy it for gigs. But the bar service was the worst bar service I’ve experienced at any music venue in years and I attend at least two gigs a month. 8 people deep, poorly organised and staff seemed uninterested.
The service could be better organised to provide a better experience for customers and the staff. If 80% of drinks are via cans why not compartmentalise the service with people at front getting orders and staff at back pouring for example. Also give your staff more care machines, the constant movement from bar to till and back again adds time to the service and creates a huge backlog.
Surely you notice sales being down ? Or maybe you have a opportunity to optimise drink sales?
U.
Excellent venue! No covid checks though on entry, same 1 year on
M. M.
Great venue, easy access. I've seen a few bands here now. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
S. W.
Great venue for a gig. We saw Marcus Mumford, really enjoyed the smaller venue, great atmosphere and sound was fab.
L. F.
Great venue with friendly bar staff. Security were not very helpful in regards to where we could be picked up though, and there's no signs to say either.
S. B.
Went to time to shine festival in SWG3 and whole place was packing but was handled well by who cares Scotland 😍 would definitely go to an event again here
A. B.
Great night at the Hu, who were superb, unfortunately had to put up with some guy enjoying himself "mixing" ABBA, Michael Jackson and various noises! Totally incompatible!
c. h.
Whadda venue, so many generously sized arenas to party in, super friendly door staff and an awesome welfare team to boot, sound was on point and the gig ran without a glitch , would definitely recommend
C. M.
Brilliant venue. Aesthetics are really cool and the overall size is perfect. Great view from almost everywhere
F. T.
Bouncers were friendly.
Packed and the music was banging.
Cue for the ladies toilet was excessive.
Pretty much always have a good night at SWG 3.
F. J.
Been a few times for bongos bingo! Such a fab night and great venue, with a range of bars and toilets to accommodate huge crowds.
2. w. s.
Always good to the new artwork for photos with the bikes
C. P.
Excellent sound, lighting and views of the stage in the main hall. Smaller venue upstairs has good views of the stage and decent acoustics. Very limited parking adjacent to venue, but plenty available within a 2-3 minutes walk.
A. W.
Great venue! Excellent sound!
J. H.
Venue is conveniently located with a good bar and friendly staff. Viewing angles are poor thanks to concrete pillars and sound only so-so
A. K.
Nearly on par with the legendary barrowlands as a love music venue. Great sound and a fantastic vibe to the venue.
R. D.
Saw Ride here on the 26th, very good venue, sound was great. Good facilities. Bar was very expensive though.
D. M.
Great venue, friendly staff and not too far off the beaten track from West end eateries and bars.
D. D.
Really great venue - went to see Six60 and particularly enjoyed how close to the stage we were without even needing to get right in the crowd.
Bar staff could probably be a bit more engaging, one or two staff seemed like it was a bother to be serving.
S. B.
Saw Newton Faulkner here, great intimate venue (Galvanizers). Reasonably priced bar, easily accessible toilets and nice staff.
D. T.
Fab wee music venue but not quite on par with the mighty Barrowlands, old ABC or King Tuts so it doesn't quite qualify for 5 stars.
Though for tonight, the mighty Teenage Fanclub brought that 5th star with them (like they always do).
K. H.
Absolutely amazing night. The entertainment staff were unreal. I can't wait to go back. We had a kitty and the drinks started at £23.00 then £27.50 then £18.70 for the same 5 drinks. I think they just make it up but a brilliant night overall.
L. W.
I'm big into my street art and really enjoyed seeing what Glasgow had to offer this was just abit of what I saw and loved it the artist are on a completely different level
J. M.
Great venue for the graffiti art exhibition but bars were lacking choice of good beer.
M. R. W.
First time to this venue and I would definitely go again. Great staff. Great sound quality. There’s a cafe serving great food and drinks owned by the venue but it shuts at 6. Other than some industrial units there isn’t anything around the venue and parking is extremely limited
J. K.
Yardworks festival 2019 was great on Saturday as all the graffiti artists were hard at work. Perfect weather, not too busy to start with, we had a great time walking around watching the paintings appear. Food was good, Malay curries, bars were busy but got served after short wait.
C. D.
Bongos Bingo was amazing. Went for my friends hen doo. 100% would recommend this. Drinks were a bit pricey and bar was very bust to get served so be prepared!
R. T.
Excellent venue great show by biffy Clyro
B. G. K.
One of the best gig venues in Glasgow. Staff are extremely friendly and looking after the crowd, periodically handing out glasses of water
R. B.
Amazing venue for a gig, the pricing of some of the soft drinks was a bit expensive, £3 for a draught cola, but it's not beyond what you'd expect for some venues. Acoustics and lighting were great and temperature was well managed too
M. P.
Was there for the opening night (the xx concert). Everything went smoothly, bar staff was friendly and security even offered water to concertgoers as the night progressed. Location is easily accessible and we had no problems getting the bus back to Glasgow city centre afterwards.
A. K.
Superb wee gig venue. A bit hard to find on your first visit. Great acoustics. Downside. Very limited bar.
A. W.
Personally we went for a concert (Alec benjamin), the staff were very helpful and friendly. They handed out water during the concert and before which was very helpful and needed! They organised the queue for the concert very well.
D. R.
Decent venue for gigs. Ticks all all the important boxes: Good sound, spacious, reasonably efficient bar service, large toilets. Only grumble when comparing to some other venues is that it lacks a bit of character or charm (it's just a big warehouse).
m. s.
Need to put water at bar...
In jugs slso water threw taps in gents and ladys toilet s at rez nye shocking
T. S.
Awesome venue, loads of bar staff, big toilets and no queues. Loved it
W. G.
Brilliant venue with so much going on- a credit to Glasgow👍🏻
N. H.
Enjoyable experience, I went to see Metronomy, quick to be allowed in when the doors opened however when we were inside nobody really told us where we were supposed to go so we just sat in the bar for an hour until we asked where to go. Also the drinks were quite expensive, but not any more expensive than a regular bar. I ordered two vodka and cokes and it was £8.80, so just make sure to bring money. Also the hall was quite packed and I'm not too tall so it was hard to see clearly but overall I really enjoyed it.
G. M.
Loved this wee venue for Rose Tattoo gig.
A. “. H.
Awesome venue for socially distanced drinks and food, really switched on and organised. Decent selection too. Well worth checking out
g. l.
Really good food very art oriented.
Yardworks this weekend was amazing..
M. K.
First time going and it was for Oktoberfest, which I have to say was a let down, would expect it to be more flags n stuff and the staff dressed up, the venue was ok but felt over priced and not enough proper German glasses and the food was expensive and not very good and not very German and I should know after living in Germany many a time, they need to do better next time, but overall venue was ok
A.
Great venue and worth the extra effort to get there, no stations are super close.
B.
Amazing venue ! The space is huge, and a huge beer garden, outside garden and allotments being developed 👍🏻
G. L.
nice place just seen the hu there but to be fair couldn't move or see the band
C. M.
I went here for the first time during their Yardworks festival. It was a really cool venue with a great down to earth vibe.
The staff were friendly, unisex toilets and seemed pretty accessible for wheelchairs. Can't wait to go back to see The Midnight in November.
A. H.
Great venue for the Ride gig. I thought the sound was absolutely fantastic this time - great clarity for all the individual instruments and both voices. The ABC is a bitter loss to the Glasgow music scene as in my view it consistently delivered the best live sound in the city. But on this form SWG3 could become a worthy successor.
S. D.
Staff are super friendly and helpful. Bar staff very efficient. My only issue is the policy of IDing everyone - I'm in my late 30s - caught me out so I just had soft drinks. Maybe the policy could be better communicated when buying the tickets. But I had a brilliant time and the show (Dorian Electra) was truly excellent.
C. C.
First time here to see the one & only Callum Beattie... fantastic night... Great venue ❤️
C. B.
One of the best venues in Glasgow for a gig. With a large stage and a small yet still large club performance area. I've performed in the smaller venue and it's nice even off the green room was small for the large brass band we were
S. A.
One of the best nightclubs in Glasgow! The DJs here are amazing and the crowd is top class.
M. M.
I was a bit apprehensive due to being disabled and having to use a walking. There was absolutely no need to worry. SWG3had everything covered, we're so attentive and nothing was a bother. Will definitely be back very soon. Thank you to everyone at SWG3 who worked on Thursdays Bongo Bingo.
C. W.
Amazing arts and music venue as well as workspace for many local businesses and creative people. With the recent addition of the Galvinisers yard it is now the premier alternative events space in Glasgow.
P. K.
Fantastic venue for concerts.
M. D.
I'm here on honeymoon and I absolutely loved this venue!!!! Was happy it was my first venue abroad
C. H.
Amazing Venue had a great night at Dr Dre event. Alcohol prices no that bad either.
A. C.
Great venue. Whether it's the outdoor yard in Glasgow's 4 days of summer, the warehouse or the upstairs space I've yet to have a bad experience here. Always glad to see when it's SWG3 that may favourite artists choose to play
P. H.
First time at the venue and this place is superb.... Saw Riverside great night
G. S.
Great venue, first time I've been to a gig in swg3. We were Promised Jetpacks were amazing
A. B.
Although it's out of the way for anything, it is a great venue for sound
J. B.
Nice pop up restaurant, the chicken, potatoes and carrot katsu are the stand out dishes
M. H.
Cold in December but a good venue. Can't comment on bar price as I was driving
M. F.
Great Venue since refurb. Sound brilliant. Only downside is it's awkward to get to if you don't have a car or take a taxi. Long walk from nearest bus or underground or train station.
B. P.
Well organised in these social distance times. Booked a table and ordered food and drinks vis the swg3 app. Came promptly. Really good food options with 5 menus to choose from and our Malaysian (?) veg curry was delicious. Highly recommended.
K. M.
The galvenisers yard is an incredible venue for a concert. SWG3 were really organized about getting people in and out of the venue quickly and the drinks were pretty reasonable for a gig. One of the best concerts of my life.
J. S.
Attended for the texas southside concert. The concert was very oversold. We were rammed into the venue. The sound wasn't very good. All the speakers seemed to be at the front and nothing at the rear. There was a decent (but expensive) bar attached. no problems getting into and out of venue.
T. K.
Good atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent sound. Great venue .
A.
If you are the sort of person that gets suck from heavy bass I'd avoid this place. Everyone else I was with was fine.
J. F.
A first for us as a music venue.
Very helpful staff
M. K.
Big venue, which I've never seen overcrowded. They also have a wardrobe for £2. The venue is split into two parts, bar and stage. You can guess what each area is for. The bar has a couple of seats and you can enjoy a pint or two before the show starts. Depending on the band playing it can get quite warm as there are no windows so I advise that you should just wear a shirt.
Most importantly don't forget to have fun.
C.
the secuirty gaurd jemma with the short red hair is a gem! needs a raise!! one of the most helpful people ever
G. L.
Cracking venue, quick bar service and clean toilets. Saw Black Star Riders, backed by Wayward Sons. Cracking gig!!
M. C.
Amazing venue, staff, and security are very helpful
A. M. D.
Had the most Amazing night. Defo be back.
S. B.
First time there. Easy to find through Google maps. Great venue.
D. R.
Bongos Bingo. Best night out l've had in ages. Just laughed and danced the whole time.
D. G.
Amazing staff - all super chilled and relaxed, but that might've been because it was a Spiritualized gig... 😏
TWO pint plastic cups at the bar! 😍
Cool venue with a good buzz
G. S.
Decent venue for intimate gigs.
Bar was under stocked though so not much choice.
C. W.
Great value for various gigs. Been to loads of different genres of music here and it fits the part everytime.
C. C.
Saw Sleep Token perform, was amazing and venue was great.
E. S.
Really good venue! Cool space and good facilities. Friendly staff too for the gig we went too. shame to space is all one level though as its difficult to see the band from the middle/back
A. R.
One of the best outdoor gig venues I've been to. Sound was good and was close enough to stage to have a good view
J. M.
This venue is brilliant for bands of all sizes, intimate but with space to move around, great bar where you get served quick and to too far a walk from some good bars in the kelvin hall area
K. M.
Great Sound but Disability seating too far from stage
S. G.
SWG3 is quickly becoming one of my favourite venues in Glasgow, especially Galvanizers.
G. M.
Only problem was you could do with a few chairs against the walls for people to take a break from standing.
D. H.
Good venue. Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Stage is a good height for us shorter members of the audience.
D. B.
Came for a gig in the Poets Club, great for small intimate performances.
K. B.
Was here last night to see Teddy Swims. Brilliant venue amazing acoustics. Staff we're great.
d. g.
Recently here for my first time with friends for Bongos Bingo, best night out I've had in ages, decent bar and toilets.
Good venue although we never got asked or questioned for our covid passport plus nobody was wearing or enforcing the wearing of face mask which I thought was strange in the current climate.
m. c.
Had a great time as an exhibitor at the National Whisky Festival selling craft chocolate of all things. The organiser was on top form if I needed anything.
A. J.
What a great venue! This is a cool concrete space, multi rooms, a blank canvas in which to create something amazing. Was here during COP26 and it had been used by NY Times to the fullest: a beautiful woodland space and a number of discussion and workshop zones. Fantastic
D. M.
Saw "Rose Tattoo" here (Sept'18) and found the staff friendly&helpful and the venue excellent. It was my first time there and the only downside is it's a little off the beaten track but don't let that put you off. \m/
P. M.
Great venue, Very versatile and amazing sound
I. K.
Great atmosphere, was taken aback by the old fashioned toilet, haven't a seen one of those in eons, lots of friendly people, need to get in early if you want a seat
E. L.
Fast service(and all ppe). Standard drinks list (slightly boring) great food range to eat from.
m. G.
Good venue , helpful staff,,, good veiws of stage
T. M.
Brilliant venue for gigs and events. Toilets are pretty grim though.
E. G.
First timer.
Went to see the Dullers.
Event staff where friendly, helpful and organized.
Venue is a decent size, easy to navigate even in large crowds.
c. d.
First time there..great venue for a gig..looks small from the outside but very spacious inside...5☆
J. R.
Concert was great but they don't enforce masks even SLIGHTLY, giving only 3 stars because even their security wasn't wearing masks. I kept mine on the entire gig and took every precaution I could and still got sick so don't go if you care about hygiene. Also for anyone thinking of sneaking something in, they throw out even sealed food without a second thought, they could've given me the option to store it in the cloak room, or donated it to shelters, seeing so much perfectly good food trashed is really sad, and they do pat downs, essential for safety but just don't try anything lol. Staff seemed lovely though
I. M.
This venue might now be my favourite venue in scotland, whether it’s galvanisers, TV studio or the other rooms, great venue for the atmosphere and aesthetic
L. B.
Love this place as a music venue, sound was really good and atmosphere fantastic when attending Sasha and John Digweed, and plenty of seating areas if wanting a quick break away.
S. N.
Awesome! Like an outdoor Brixton Academy, the energy, vibe, totally cool urban Scotland. I saw Leith sensation Young Fathers support LCD Soundsystem on a warm summer evening. One of the best gigs of my life since I saw Dead Boys at CBGB in 1977.
S. A.
Good sized room. Sound a bit muddy on night but not too distracting. Accessible by footpath from Partick station. Nice beer!
K.
Cool space and has a good range of events and artists running. It can be lacking in atmosphere compared to other concert venues.
S. M.
Excellent day with great food, super Covid safe and well looked after by Linda 👍 definitely be back.
M. A.
Nice spot for a gig. Staff were very friendly.
D. C.
Great venue I saw the Reytons they were brilliant
H. M.
Lots of different events here. Bongo bingo a must in the afternoon 👌
A. H.
Have been twice recently to Gogo Penguin, then Cory Wong. Both great gigs and the venue is good, seems well organised, good facilities. Everyone there seemed happy and cool. Great gigs coming up.
I. M. (. M.
A great venue for live music and much more. The acoustics were spot on for Warpaint.
Staff were friendly and helpful. 👍😀
M. C.
Great show. First time ever I have experienced complete silence from the crowd during the performance. People were actually listening to the first song without unnecessary talking. Magic.
A. M.
To the guards who flung paper at me and I flung it back you are cool and thank you I was about to have a panic attack but you made me laugh instead you are the reason I made it through the gig.
Some of the other staff however were awful. I sat with a pregnant lady for the day on a typically cold day, she was told less than an hour before doors that she (with the rest of our group) could've been sat inside all day. They had known her situation before hand and allegedly had someone out trying to find her, we had been sat there all day, never were we even asked. A security guard gave us trouble for waiting on our friend to finish her vip so she wasn't alone (we all had vip). There was another security guard who stared at me for half a set. And to cap it off they barely allowed time for merch?
T. B.
It has a cool industrial vibe which isn't surprising given that it is very much an industrial site which has been redevelopment as an arts Venu.
As a music venue I found it a bit lacking. The main concert space is a large concrete hall which give rise to pretty dead acoustics. Sound quality dropped exponentially as you moved away from the stage with performer increasingly drowned out by crowd noise.
M. B.
First, the queue. It's in a badly lit street, with little visible stewarding.
Entry was fine, eventually, though the checks that were meant to made of our Covid vaccine passports weren't, nor did I see anywhere to scan for track and trace purposes.
Again, inside, hardly any visible security/stewards, and if I'd had a problem I wouldn't have had a clue who to go to, certainly not in the main event hall.
As a venue the sound was good, and it was a cracking atmosphere. Just let down by, seemingly, too few staff.
A. C.
Excellent venue for GCBF
D. G.
Was my favourite band I seen in there so I'm obviously going to be biased, was great acoustics though and a decently priced bar!
M. S.
The yard is an incredible space with wonderful views of the stage all round and quiet a fascinating area, with the railway passing behind.
J. C.
Amazing for all sorts of events. Experienced deep drone metal on the indoor stage and amazing graffiti art in the summer.
J. G.
Great venue for gigs whether upstairs, downstairs or in the yard itself. The two nights in May a couple of years ago for LCD Soundsystem was absolute heaven!
L. L.
Always a great show here, staff are pretty helpful too ✨
A. K.
Great venue for a concert. Great sound and perfect size
C. B.
Lovely little intimate venue...
What a find. ✨🎶
G. N.
Awesome venue, the gig sounded pretty good too!
L. H.
Went for a gig, staff were amazing, drinks were reasonable and toilets were clean
D. A.
Another excellent night friendly door and bar staff a great intimate venue
H. P.
Good acoustic, nice selection of drinks. Pure industrial. Love it!
A. R.
Went to see Above and Beyond and I couldn't fault the venue. Great staff especially lady working in the restroom..She was fab!
J. N.
Brilliant venue for a gig x
K. C.
Best Post covid set up i have seen. Easy and quick ordering of food and drink as well as a great setting on a warm day 👌
S. S.
Just a great venue for live music
S. D.
A bit out of the way, but a really cool venue with nice staff.
H. D. 1.
Fantastic venue for a concert. Bar not too expensive either!! Happy days.
s. a. e.
went last night to see dayglow and it was so good. probably the best venue ive been to. we got in fast which was great considering the weather and the security standing at the front were the sweetest ever. they took pictures for us and were just generally nice and it made the whole experience even better. it was clean too, only thing that was bad was the bar staff being rude towards us but the actual gig made up for that lol. great place
S. H.
Went the past few years for the Yardworks festival, great atmosphere and brilliant for families with kids and dog friendly too. New roof terrace is pretty cool and the garden looks like it will be great once it opens.
R. D.
Saw Daniel Avery play here. Good.
C. M.
Good venue for gigs with a pretty good acoustic and great atmosphere.
For a music venue they have a great selection of beers at a reasonable price but could have more soft drink and spirit options.
Fully accessible for disabled people with a small viewing platform near the back of the hall. This could be slightly higher or further forward but it is a massive improvement for disabled people compared to older venues.
G. W.
So wanna give this place 5 stars but it ran out of beer 😲. Barman was a gent, thank you. Great venue.
ʞ. D.
Pretty good venue. Sound was great, tables and bar were super nice.
J. D.
great venue, acoustic is good
E. M.
Very friendly and helpful staff, especially ensuring a pregnant member of our group was well looked after. Poetry club small and I intimate with great sound.
L. C.
Xavier Rudd was amazing🎶
m. b.
Great venue. Good sound.
C. B.
Was a good night for bongos bingo. Been before tho and got a bit bored towards the end. Defo a great night but wouldn't go more than once
H. M.
We were here to see Skindred, first time back at this venue after pandemic and the set up was great, enough space for everyone, not too long to wait at the bar, coat check in and toilet attendants - everyone friendly and helpful. Skindred were fantastic too 💖😊☑️
G. G.
Great venue. Great poster in the gents!
C. M.
We went to see Theory of a Dead man and had a great time.
L. G.
Visited the beer garden for a sunny pint. Staff super friendly and helpful, COVID-19 protocols in place were great. We had a bit of an issue with the app when we ordered pints they weren't showing up, unfortunately resulted in us waiting half an hour and then having to alert staff each time. Wasn't the staff's problem but maybe something that should be investigated with the app. Food we ordered was delicious and very reasonably priced. Shame there isn't any music as it would help with the atmosphere but this is perhaps gov guidelines? Would like to visit on a weekend soon, last orders were called early when we were there because it was quite quiet.
E. M.
Very helpful staff, well organised, quick and easy entrance and exit. Lots of staff behind bar meanining speedy service. Great venue to check out live music.
K. D.
Went to a gig here last night, its a good sized venue for an intimate performance. Sound quality was very good and the drink prices were fair, also isnt to far from a train station so getting to and from is no hassle. On the other side of the warehouse theres walls covered in outstanding art that you have to give a look! Overall good venue, fair priced drinks and good sized venue.
N. J.
Went for an ABBA themed disco night by DiscoWonderland. First night out in Glasgow and I'd highly recommend. Brilliant night can't wait for next time
g. t.
Incredible venue! Doesn't matter what room, if its a gig, exhibition or club, you'll have an excellent time
M. R.
Excellent layout, great acoustics and well staffed. It's very apparent that SWG3 is used to handling popular bands and filling to capacity. Lines moved quickly and efficiently into the venue. Security was professional and courteous. Felt safe before, during and after the performance. The bar was well staffed, well stocked, and surprisingly reasonably priced. The venue would benefit from a parking area as on-street parking is very limited.
J.
Excellent venue. Big outdoor area as well.
I. D.
SWG3 is easily one of the best venues in Glasgow, especially since the recent expansion as well. I have never been disappointed when I've been 👌
M. Z.
Really nice planning of the open space! Felt safe and food was delicious!
C. S.
Brilliant venue for Bongos bingo and any live gigs/events🙌
K. C.
Unreal venue! One of the best in Glasgow!
P. R.
Brilliant wee place for a gig, been a few times and columns can be annoying but great atmosphere, as with most small venues.
R.
Nice venue, looks good outside and is pretty cool inside. However the queue to get in was a bit ridiculous. Two different shows formed one giant queue and were split later down the line. Some signage could have cut down the queue and saved everyone some very cold extremities.
A. R.
Excellent COP 26 venue, presented by The New York Times with guests from scientific, commercial, business and other backgrounds, keen to make positive changes to the environmental problems facing the world. There is much to do. Never give up, never give in.
E. Q.
Saw the Teskey Brothers on Monday night. Can't thank the staff enough from the guy who explained about our parking space (sorry l didn't get his name) to Ryan who took us through to the hall and looked after us all night at the accessible seating section. Nothing was a problem for him from getting us seated to showing us where the accessible toilets were. He also gave us a bit of background about the building and what goes on there. Great night all round!
J. B.
Great concert venue.
B. H.
Love this place, good vibes, plenty space and always have a brilliant time here
G. R.
Sound quality was surprisingly good for what seemed like a big hall upon entry. It felt like there was a slight slope upwards towards the stage end. Access and exits were very easily navigated, only issues are the lack of parking at the venue.
C. H.
Absolutely nailed the beer garden, really smooth entry and signed well with clear instruction, given the pandemic. Table service and ordering via the swg3 app was a breeze. Loved the 2 pint capacity beakers for beer too. Two hour limit flew by, could have sat there all night. Maybe some outside heaters would be a shout going forward, but that's not a criticism, just a suggestion.
k. h.
Good mid size venue, great sound! 🤘🤘
c. M.
Good venue for music...bar is terrible to get drinks far too busy and quite expensive
V. E.
Really good outdoor space in covid circumstances. All seating is covered which is good for the rain. Only downside is the lack of options for beer and cider. For draught beer there is literally Tennents or Heverlee. The bottled options are over priced. We didn't try the food but it looked/smelled good!
T. D.
Great space for events and the SWG3 Team were super helpful!
M. S.
We went to the Glasgow Rocks event it was very well done, the artist painting the logo was a nice touch.
J. F.
Experienced the outside Yard venue and it was great.
G. M.
Thought the layout and atmosphere of the venue was exceptional. Having the separate bar area that was large with seating was excellent! The whole industrial feel of the venue very much helps to make it a better Atmosphere for rock/metal gigs in my opinion. The disability viewing section for wheelchairs (also has seating) is an outstanding idea and something I'm sure many people will benefit from!
Also bathroom was very clean and plenty of urinals and sinks in the gents which can sometimes be lacking in venues.
The only thing I could mention is that the whole venue is a bit dark lighting wise, the main access area to the bar and bathrooms etc could be made a bit brighter however understandably, I think it adds to the atmosphere but I am aware that people with any sight problems may struggle even just to get to the bathroom, this didn't hinder my experience atall, but could affect someone's.
All in all its rocketing its way up the list to my favourite venue in Glasgow. Definitely one to go to!
D.
Good small venue, not too hot considering the density. Good for metal bands!
M. 4.
Great night will be back.🤯👍
P. C.
Great and vast venue.
Well done Muttly for putting your money on the line for this place. A great service to Glasgow culture. I bet no Scottish Government cultural organisation gave you any help at all. Keep up the great work.
S. S.
Great venue for a live music
J. D.
Been to several of the pop up restaurants at SWG3 over the last few years. Always keeping an eye out for new foodie places. Was at Go Sangatsu at the weekend and can thoroughly recommend.
J. M.
Amazing venue!
Only been to Bongos Bingo here which is the best night ever!
B. M.
Nice wee place for a concert
D. m.
This has to be thee best place for a gig I've been in years.
Ok, I went to Colours & that may be part of the fact I liked it so much but I have to say the staff where helpful, Even the bouncers outside at the cigarette area where in the moment, Friendly & not pushy if you know what I mean. Drinks reasonably priced too with no problem getting one..
Thank you to all the staff & management for giving me & my friends a great time. Keep up the good work..
Just sorry I didn't take a picture to post..
s. m.
Great day out, lots of activities for the family,
r. c.
Absolutely love this venue can't wait for the next time a decent artist is heading there will be going back xxx
S. B.
I was here twice in one week, first was a rock concert, great acoustics, great venue for a concert that's not to large, more intimate, you could see the band no problem. 2nd visit was to Bongo Bingo what a night, music was fab, DJ was mad, great prizes, girls next to us won Ainsley Harriott cut out, we won a couple, full house prize money was fab from £100 to £750. Was a real party night, lots of young people but not too rowdy. My crowd were slightly older but all had a great time.
E. D.
Great venue with a massive sound system and an up for it crowd.
A. E.
Brilliant gig venue with easy access
I. P.
A cracking venue. I saw Powerwolf in the largest hall of three. Sound and lighting were spot on, and the staff across the board couldn't have been better: door, bar and security. Spacious, warm (even when empty early in the afternoon on a freezing day), and with some very impressive toilets this is a simple venue, but lovely due to that simplicity. Tons of free parking nearby as well.
N. R.
Spiritualised....great venue...usual 5 deep at the bar ...back to normal there..
J. C.
Fantastic acoustically, and good facilities. However, definitely wear a jacket to seated gigs in winter as was pretty cold! Also some noise pollution from venue next door was a bit disappointing. Otw loved it!
C. D.
Went to see Tide Lines here a month or so ago, was a big venue but sounded really good, great lighting and pyrotechnics! Queue for drinks were very long though, but staff were handing out free water in the crowd.
D. M.
Just seen Machine Gun Kelly in this venue. We had heard bad things about it but we thought it was a great venue. Amazing gig and very easy to get out of! However, the que to get in was horrendous and took nearly an hour and a half to get everyone in so some people missed the support. Needs a quicker entrance operation.
A. M.
Great venue well organised
I. M.
Been to a few gigs here now, queue outside is on the pavement along side the road.
No problems with staff.
Ladies toilets are quite narrow to navigate into a stall and around the sinks, but generally clean when I’ve been in at the start of a gig.
G. S.
Went to see Sasha & Digweed here, great venue with an ecclectic crowd.
A.
Pretty edgy place for a concert! Really good space for a show!
Was confusing to get to the venue from the subway, but there is a path running parallel to the roads that takes you directly there, only about a 10 minute walk!
A. F.
This was a great venue. Felt like quite an intimate gig. Would definitely return.
K. K.
Very good! Well organised, not too busy. Staff careful and helpful. Very impressed - note: we were there on a Monday at lunch time on the first day of beer gardens reopening in Scotland. I really hope they can make it work for them (financially). It was really good for us! Thank you SWG3
D. D.
Great venue, I would love to come back here and watch some more bands/artists in the future
I. Q.
Great venue, bongos bingo was absolutely fantastic!
J. B.
Went to Bongo's Bingo at SWG3 at the weekend. Staff were fantastic, really well managed. Easy to order drinks! A great night.
e. m.
Nice 👍
C. F.
Excellent venue for close up and personal gigs.
L. E.
Attended for Cream on boxing day. Great venue for clubbing, big open rooms and a great sound system. My Only gripe was that there was a fair bit of fighting and security didn't seem to crack down on them which added a bit of an "edge" to the night
D. M.
Its actually quite cheap for drinks and i have been here for a paint party and a concert and both have great nights. Definetly worth checking out for an event
R. M.
Went to Souljam Really enjoyed Great music Danced all night Well run event Lovely staff Concrete floor a little hard on my old legs for dancing though!!!
C. M.
Great venue for bands , good bar, nice size .
D. T.
It's alright. I mean it's pretty much a warehouse. On club/rave nights it can be quite theme appropriate...on other events it can feel a little lacking but again. Venue itself has all the amenities, toilet/bar - mural. It's cool.
D. K.
I attended the SWG3 Galvanisers venue, which I believe is the newest one. This was an excellent space that had a highly raised stage, meaning the act could be seen from anywhere. Bar (with a seating area) and toilets were situated outside the main stage room which avoided traffic and ques getting in the way while watching the acts. Sound was excellent and could be heard even in the back.
A. T.
Excellent day once again at the whisky festival.Fantastic venue
H. f. w.
But of a weird shaped venue get there early cus it's thin rather than wide and you can end up very far away from the stage. Bit akward to find but nothing Google maps can handle. Nice staff good sound nice loos and bar
C.
Excellent venue and definitely one that sticks out from the rest with its different rooms. Sound system for evening events is spectacular but the bar is very expensive which may be due to there being no cash machines near by but nonetheless always have a good time!
D. D.
Good venue and we'll organised. Sound could have been better, hard to make out vocals.
B. H.
Great venue. Smooth roll in loading and multi use spaces. Nice work. Best venue we've installed our Triple Cooked set into on this tour. Mirrorballs come as an extra!
A. K.
Only visited once so far but it's a decent venue and the look and feel works well for any metal fans. I will probably update in the future when I get a chance to see more gigs here.
J. H.
Getting better as a gig venue. A bit of bohemian Glasgow for other nights I've been too you can see the place developing well. Min beer stock on sale. ( red stripe @ £3.5 per can I think )
M. M.
The big hall is better than the small one. The smaller of the two has pillars which really obscure your view of the stage if you're unlucky. Sound quality is actually decent though. Parking and access is really easy.
T. K.
Great place Best live music.
S. M.
Fabulous night out so much fun
M. O.
I've been to a few gigs here over the past few years and not once have I had a bad experience, absolutely love the place!
M. S.
1st time at Galvanizers brilliant event great sound great parking close by loved it
S. C.
Small venue, generally i find the smaller venues have much better acoustics, was easy to get to and staff were friendly. Would recommend for live music.
S. A.
yARDeVENT last night.
There was a nice man.
There was a nice lady.
Then there was another nice man. I had a great time looking at the whole part of people's faces.
Always a good time at SWG3. When I'm there I feel like I'm on some island in the future where we're waiting to go on a spaceship cruise for a party.
Nuggetz + full access potentiometer malarkey. Whip it. O
A.
Went to the taylor swift night. Was great fun! Staff were wonderful and the whole night was fantastic
d. d.
Managed to get parked quite easily close to the venue, on street parking metered area's free after 6pm. Venue is ok, in my opinion the further back you went the more muffled the sound due to pillars either side of the concert area, however, get in between or more central it much better. Never bought a drink or went to the wc so can't comment; there was a free water jug available on The bar. Ther is limited seating at the side of the bar area but not much of a view from there. Overall I feel a bit disappointed with SWG3.....Sorry.
C. F.
We've been here a couple of times to see the Dualers. Great night both times, you can but a drink in here and there's a place right next door for food. It's like a big warehouse, but ideal for gigs
C. D.
The SWG3 Yard Life is an outside bar/food area with table service via the app. You do have to put your mask back on to use the bathrooms. Entrance is through the reception where there's a body temperature guage. The venue is super colourful and arty.
b. d.
Interesting warehouse venue which suited the act I went to see. Hot. Sweaty and full of like minded souls.
The stage is quite low though so maybe not a good venue for small people! Toilets are very industrial looking but clean.
Venue is a slight pain to get to as opposed to other central Glasgow places so car or cab is a preferred method for me. The nearest train is probably about 15 mins away.
M. D.
Fab time enjoyed it. Said thanks and good bye on way out and 3 security staff completely ignored me. I felt they were very ignorant. Im 50 years old was with my son. Had not had any alcohol. Petty power . Very sad
M. C.
Awesome space, great sound system and really good crowd. Would definitely go again
C. M.
Good size venue but to far away, not the easiest place to find, no taxi ranks or close transport links nearby 13 min walk from Patrick train station, good points are well stocked bar and quick access to exits when gig is finished
V. L.
Brilliant place staff really helpful
Bongos bingo was a riot will be back ASAP great night only downside not much choice of drink available but the venoms not my normal tipply went down well 🍻🤣🎉
L. C.
Excellent, organised no waiting about in queue, reasonably priced for drinks and gigs. 🍺
The only slightly annoying thing is that, when Orbital were playing 'Galvanising room' merchandise (tshirts etc) cash only facility in this room, the guy selling there stuff and I were like this isn't the norm. 😉
J. T.
First class service and thanks to open goal for treating us like queens
n. m.
Excellent music venue with great sound.
B. M.
One of my favourite venues in Glasgow. Plenty space, decent acoustics and brings in great bands.
2 pint cups are a blessing too
A. K.
I hosted a street food event here and it was a perfect location for it. The space is very stripped back and raw but the gallery space also offers something a little more refined with all white walls. Don't be put off by first impressions, it's amazing how much the space can be transformed with a little creativity.
D. O.
Great social distancing measures in place. Plenty of tables that are widely spaced apart. Hand sanitiser in my locations. Great food. Bar choice a bit limited. Draught is cider or tenners. Would be nice to have heverlee
J.
Bit out the way but cool space(s), smaller hall can get impossibly warm. For gig I was at they kept people outside 35/40 mins over the doors opening time. Would goto again though.
G.
Saw Reel big fish here last week. Nice clean venue but sound wise it lacked any soul. It was as I'd the concrete just soaked the feeling up.
A. K.
Good 'hipster' beer, bit pricey as for music venue, more like auld pubs in Edinburgh. Surprisingly a very good sound system. Acoustic is very well balanced. We have seen Sepultura, what a gig!
a. m.
First time I've been in the studio and really liked it. Good layout and bar is easily accessible. Sound quality wasnt that great though. Prefer it to the main warehouse layout and bar access.
T. K.
Nice big space. Like most venues, pints are pricey but getting served was no issue. Would go again if there's reason for me to travel up from Newcastle
L. G.
Love this venue brilliant acoustics come back soon Chvrches
d. m.
Bongo bingo...what a crazy night it was amazing xxx
P. s.
Saw Billie Eilish was amazing since it was a smaller venue we got to see her up close, the opening acts were great too (finneas and earthgang) and while we waited for the next acts to come on they played Drake and Gucci gang it was overall amazing. Really easy to get in nice staff.
T. A.
Very Comfortable gig space, sound was pretty good, plenty of room for the mosh pit, to see the band, hangout by the bar, well marshaled. Venue could be a bit better connected but Glasgow Taxi's are V. cheap.
S. M.
Cool music venue. A little more guidance inside would be nice, you walk into a dark hall with many doors. Big bar with double pint option so you can avoid the long lines
D. S.
SWG3 is kinda out of the way but it's a pretty solid venue for both gigs and events. Always keep an eye out for what's happening here as they deliver an interesting mix of event types. The warehouse is a fantastic atmospheric space for a gig but the TV studio does suffer a bit on the sound front.
A. M.
Has been done up and the main TV studio is now incredibly nice and features a long bar and a modern industrial design. The other room remains white to enable any usage and the little bar room retains its charm too.
A. M.
Good acoustics throughout venue. No COVID precautions taken. Wheelchair accessible.
A. R.
Fantastic venue, all concrete - minimalistic. Decent selection at the bar too
Y. A.
Good music venue!
m. s.
Staff were very helpful and friendly 🙂
s. d.
Very industrial, there's a few concrete pillars which sort of block the view and security checks to get in were worse than an airport fir some bizarre reason
I'd imagine atmosphere would be good though it wasn't the night I was there
S. G.
Glasgows up and coming music venue. Various floors/halls for live music and DJs and posing! Only draw back is the 10 deep queue at the bars. If you can find this place you're doing well, very little in way of public transport but well worth the effort. It's a legend venue in the making. A little Glasgow jem.
B. D. K.
Went to see the Michael schenker fest and it was brilliant the venue is a great place for a gig good sound only one negative point the woman security guard was a complete footpad she upset a lot of people to be honest she is definitely in the wrong job would have been 5 star otherwise.
A. N.
Great venue, nice vibe
g. t.
Great place to see fine bands
K. R.
First visit to this venue to see Michael Schenker Fest. Thoroughly enjoyed the gig and the venue. A few more visits might increase the rating as didn't have much time to check the whole place out. 🤘🤘👍
D. M.
It's a wonderful venue and The Trance night was superb great to be amongst people again 🤟
L. M.
Great artwork all over the street. Looks like alot of money been spent since I first visited in the 00's.
A much better site for the riverside festival imho.
S. H.
Always a brilliant night @ swg3!👍🏻
C. W.
We went to see The Sherlocks, last minute decision, as there's so much to do in this Glorious city. Very professionally run , all the staff are so helpful and the sound was amazing, even at the ba. The young first aider lass helped my partner . Well recommended
M. D.
Was at The Snuts gig here on 29.12.18, my first time at the venue and well impressed. Decent sound, good atmosphere and reasonable prices at well staffed bar. What's not to like.👍
L. H.
Nice venue, haven't yet worked out how to collect tickets in advance however they will always have your name down if you don't manage to pick them up beforehand so it's no hassle.
J. B. A.
Went here for an Adore Delano concert! It was incredible. I had a wonderful time. The venue was like an urban underground neon party. It was awesome.
r. m.
Great place and even though covid restrictions apply, it's done really well. Table serving is excellent through the app. Definitely going back.
L. D.
Great place for a gig. The group I went to see were amazing and there was plenty of room to move about when you were standing. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was well organised.
a. c.
Amazing venue for live acts
L. R. h.
Absolutely banging place. Good sound loud but not distorted due it being so loud. Prices of drink as expected. Clean for a venue of its size.
D. O.
Dropped my daughter off here for a concert. She tells me it was excellent. Parking a bit tricky but if you get there early it's easy to get a spot on the street.
G. M.
Great gig venue. Went to see doves had a great night. No parking available locally but about a 10 min walk from the sec
M. L.
Cracking small venue, bar 0lays the act throughthe speakers so you don't miss any tunes, will deffo go again
S. B.
Attended SWG3 to see Larkin Poe. A great venue and a great night.
E. R.
One of the famous party stop in glasgow
J. F.
Fantastic set up for the beer garden. Polite and professional staff. Great food at reasonable prices.
Covid safety protocols are perfect. Felt very safe.
V. W.
Amazing venue for gigs
E. M.
Great atmosphere and gigs
M. S.
Brilliant venue and crowd alike. I'll definitely be back.
S. M.
Great gig venue, friendly and helpful staff, well staffed bar and cloakroom, not overcrowded during the gig. Great overall experience.
G. B.
Great music venue, not too crowded, great facilities and far better selection of drinks than some of the bigger venues in town
A. M.
Very efficient good surroundings for a hospital??
A. C.
Many a great night in there, plenty of events and great team all round. Highly reccomend if visiting Glasgow you book in advance for a night out in here.
A. F.
An incredible venue, easy to source beers and great toilet accessibility with good acoustics. Amplified our experience seeing LCD Soundsystem!
M. P.
Boyce Avenue concert. Hard to find but at the arches opposite water from secc and new distillery. Head for kelvingrove end of argyll street. Not much parking. Standing only no seats.
D. D.
Yardworks 2022
H. R.
Just saw snow patrol amazing gig was in side viewing section taken in by Robert and a lady I didn't catch her name both very helpful had an amazing view felt safe and well organised thanks once again
S. M.
Nice venue, small and intimate
I. U.
Marvellous place. Check out their freezer! Amazing.
K.
Great venue for events
B. M.
The beer garden is a wonderfully spacious suntrap. Food looks tasty, didn't try but will be back to have some 🤤
M. R.
Cavernous multi-room venue hosting bands and DJ's. A bit out of the way from town and pricey bar.
S. t. V.
The hall is fine, but everytime i have been there the queue for the bar has been terrible. Nearly 30min wait
H. M.
I went to go see Tycho in SWG3, and support DJ Tennis. It was amazing. Only thing I dislike is the pillars that block the view of the stage, other than that it's a cool place for gigs.
B. N.
Amazing experience, Gaz and the team were really welcoming as was Keiran, who we were working with. Really helpful and just open to talking about the place and showing us around. Fantastic!
D. W.
Pretty run down, good for a rave. Nothing much else. Bouncers are good enough. Drinks are expensive but what do you expect. All in all pretty good!
C. D.
Great venue, great atmosphere, facilities great and no huge queues. Really good evening and good gig. Travelled from Manchester to attend. Very impressed.
J. T.
Good small venue
k. h.
Good venue for a gig 👌
F. S.
Really large studio. Can get quite cold and bar is a bit expensive. But there is good quality sound in the main hall for music.
R. V.
Amazing sound, really chill security. Couldnt ask for more!
R. 5.
Perfect venue for a rock gig, security and venue staff were first class. Some of the more traditional rock venues should take note.
L. T.
Cool atmosphere but at the end of the day it’s a renovated warehouse, also a bit of a journey back into town. You should call your cab 10-20 before the gig ends
J. R.
A slightly basic venue (former warehouse) but warm and ok sound. Scottish Ensemble, always a very polished pleasure to listen to.
M. W.
Nice place, staff were good and friendly, think it's old factory so looks a little run down, but thats the idea.. toilets clean, good sound overall would definitely come back .
A. M.
An array of concerts from Blues and Swing to Drum and Bass. Would recommend as a great night out on A Friday/Saturday.
D. R.
Great venue! We went to the Whisky Festival, and just seemed ideal, plenty or room to wander about the stalls.
J. J.
Been here a couple of times to see various acts always had fun good vibes. Security is a bit strict and for big events it all gets a vit packed.
M. D.
Great new development of an old Galvanising Works. Flexible Arts venue with Gallery, Bars, Club and Performance Spaces with an enormous Yard for outdoor gigs. We'll be back!
d. k.
Great venue, doesn't quite match up to the atmosphere of The Arches but makes up for it with the outdoor spaces and extra versatility.
m. p.
Great venue for gigs, bar could do with better choice of drinks tho and also toilets aren't the best, can't doubt it otherwise
J. L.
Great venue for live music, bouncers were friendly. Drinks are quite expensive and no cash machines nearby
S. G.
Went along last night to see Peter Hook and the light, first time at this venue. Good experience, nice area, decent selection of beers available and clean toilet facilities.
J. C.
Not quite the barras but not far off it, the various different rooms available make it a brilliant place for a gig.
A. S.
Went to see Sports Team here, excellent coew, plenty space, great sound.
A. N. K.
Super Amazing Excellant arrangments
g. t.
Had a brilliant night out here. Staff were good and a decent bar. Music was nice and loud with a decent sound system
B. M.
First time here for a gig recently. Very spacious venue and decent acoustics. Highly recommended.
R. D.
Staff were helpful and friendly and went out their way to help my wife, who has mobility problems, get into the venue. Quite chilly inside but i think it was becuase of where we were sitting.
D. H.
A great night out. Reminds me of what the Arches used to be.
K. M.
Was great, I went to see Tones and I but the only issue was I only brought my young scots card as ID but they dont accept it. Apart from that everything was golden!
V. T.
Quite a walk down the road to get to it. Lots of open space once inside and staff are great.
D. M.
Brilliant venue one of the best in Glasgow ❤️
R. O.
Great venue, looks amazing, sound is really good. New outdoor area is a massive plus too
A. W.
Brilliant . Lovely food. Excellent drinks. App ordering works great. Good corvid precautions. An amazing experience.
C. W.
Was pleasantly surprised by this venue. Great sound and atmosphere for a gig and easy enough to get to.
m.
The sound in this place for live gigs is fantastic.
N. M.
Glasgows second best venue. However, it is pain in the FLIPPING arse of a FLIPPING place to get to and from. Would improve exponentially if The Twilight Sad played there.
A. I.
Low ceilings and columns restrict view. Few seats so mostly standing venue. Bar is good and well.stocked.
S. R.
Fab venue for a comedy show, drinks a bit pricey but otherwise no complaints, filtered in and out the arena pretty quick
Q.
I was there for a gig outdoors in a spring day. Really good location, sound and environment, and cool to see the train passing by while the concert is going on
