I felt really welcomed by Russell and his associates and can say it was the best experience I had amongst all the bridal boutiques I've been to. The dresses are gorgeous!! I would 100% recommend for the future brides to be.

Lovely experience at Blackburn Bridal! Russell and his assistant went above and beyond to find dresses suited to my style and provided very honest feedback and transparency on costs. The experience was enjoyable and there was no pressure to make a decision or sale then and there as I’ve experienced at other places. And of course the dresses were stunning! I was pleasantly surprised with how well dresses from Russell’s BBC collection suited me, as it wasn’t the designer I’d originally gone in for, so I’d also recommend going in to the shop with an open mind as there are many options to explore.

Russell and his team are truly amazing! I first purchased my dress before the pandemic and throughout it all (and in my moments of panic!) Russell and his team kept me calm and updated whilst still providing me with a fantastic bridal experience :) Blackburn bridal have a beautiful, unique selection of dresses & with the help of such a talented team I was able to find my dress with ease. I was made to feel welcome & comfortable from the moment I walked through the door and within a short while I felt as though I had known Russell and Gabi forever! My first appointment was not only successful but so much fun too- we laughed a lot! Russell and his team really make you feel like a part of the ‘Blackburn Bridal family’ and I could not have asked for a more perfect experience. The shop is beautiful, Russell & his team are wonderful & my dress is the dress of dreams :)

The designer and owner Russell was there in person for my appointment and was exceptionally good at finding dresses that suited my personality and vision, and giving expert guidance to help me narrow down my choice given the number of gorgeous dresses I found there. I had such a wonderful experience at Blackburn Bridal. Due to Covid measures, I was only allowed to bring one guest, but it also meant I had the whole shop to myself and the wonderful service of both Lisa and Russell. I had seen my dream dress online from Australia (Anna Campbell) and Russell’s was one of the only boutiques in the country to stock it. They were both extremely helpful and honest which made my decision to buy my dress a lot easier and painless! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and as someone who hates trying things on, Lisa made the whole process enjoyable and I walked away so thrilled! A very happy bride!

Lisa and Russell were one of the friendliest and helpful people that I have met in all the boutiques that I've visited. I ended up loving the first dress I put on but they weren't pushy at all and Lisa even made me try on a few different ones to make sure that it was definitely the right one for me! It was some time ago, but this was by far the best bridal dress shopping experience I had across the whole of London (and I went to quite a few!). I didn't get my dress from there in the end but I really wanted to. Russell and another lady who helped (I've forgotten her name) were amazing. I have a pain condition from lung surgery which they were very understanding of. I also felt that Russell took the time to understand my 'style' and picked out dresses which would suit me, beyond the ones I'd chosen. They were 100% engaged and passionate about the process which is not what I felt elsewhere (The Mews etc). Russell's own designs are fabulous too - simple but chic and dramatic. Thank you to the team - I may not have found my dress but my Mum and I will remember the experience :)
