I’m not quite sure why there are so many bad reviews. The service we received from JK was EXCELLENT!!!!! from start to finish. Paulinette was wonderful and very professional as were all the staff especially on the day of our event. We had the gold package so everything was done when we arrived and we literally could just leave once the lights turned on. Would highly recommend

Went for 40th surprise birthday party. Was here years ago, much improved, love the floor, lighting and the WC facilities were OK. Would definitely book for a special event.

I visited this during its renovations. It's being turned into a weddings and celebrations venue. Very glitzy with typical Indian/Asian decor. Needed the toilets updating significantly and stairs to gents. Unsure what disabled people do. Ramp down into venue. Car park nearby.

Beautifully decorated. Chandeliers are massive and jaw-dropping. Not too big cute and easily accessible. NCP car park is 5 minutes away. Wheel chair access too. Really lovely for parties.

Not my kind of place. Deco was overpowering and floor was slippery because of the type of vinyl like decorative. Have to be careful of how you walk. Staff need to give guest time to vacant premises before clearing; not during and in between the celebration.

Beautiful venue the decor is beautiful the hall holds about 400+. You can have your own bar area. The only down fall is parking and the toilets that could do with a bit of refurbishing.

It's quite a small place. Eventhough the website says it can hold over 250 people, I believe just over 100 people can sit there very comfortably. However, over that amount, it won't be as comfy. It hasn't got any car park especially for the place, there is only a public parking near the Royal Mail sorting office.

The place looks beautiful and the tables are wonderful but when it came to food testing, the tables were dirty with hair and the glass wasn't clean enough. One of the knives were bent and some knives and forks were dirty. Also the food wasn't the best especially the quality. Unfortunately the waiter wasn't English so communications were difficult but we got there eventually but overall, it was decent and I do recommend this place for special events.

JK BANQUETING HALL. When you make enquiries, the company are very skilled at making you feel that your package will be met with no challenges. Unfortunately this is not the case. I paid a deposit in November. The contract states that a full refund will be given if your situation changes within a number of days. This did not happen. We paid the full amount and 300 over as we wanted to take on the catering service. The funeral took place on the 11th February 2020 and still we are in communication with the managers as we did not take on the catering service. When you loose a son this is extremely difficult but to challenge a company to pay what is owed is very unprofessional. The lack of communication caused the staff on the day to refuse to support the arrangements on a Gold Package. I am concerned that the final burial can not continue due to JK with holding payment. I would love to recommend JK as the hall is quite plush, but my experience has left me quite emotional.

I really love this freshly renovated good size venue with fantastic onsite venue managers to help out. It's clean and has a bit of character to add some class to any event. One star was lost due to issues with parking. There is parking facilities for the area but it's a bit of a walk from the venue. Still would recommend the venue highly. OLABELLA

One of the most popular venues for wedding reception. The venue its self is not too big depending on the number of guest expected. There is a car park close-by. Toilets are clean. However, all the parties I have attended at this place have all been over crowded....The hall can be stuffy atimes especially for African Parties.

Deco, calming, or maybe it was how I was feeling that day. Bar area quite small, though I would consider the hall if having a private function. The draw back was having people congregate on the walk way if they wanted to have a cig. They definitely need a smoking zone.

Uhmmm...I'd say it was ok. Just barely. The place could do with a massive renovation. The male toilet was at the start of the event was barely holding together and I shudder to think of the state of the place later on. There's paid parking about 3 mins walk away and a lot of folks just parked in front of the place. It's hard to assess the place outside the context of the event. The space was too small and got crowded very quickly. Fortunately the air-conditioning was working so it didn't get too bad despite my suit.

This is a mismatch feeling place. Looked beautiful on the inside but you won't believe how the outside looks. Oh the entrance walkway jeez is very slippery, maybe they can do something about it . But the actual hall is quite beautiful and very bright, Indian style.

Very nice place, recently refurbished to higher standard. Large venue for up to 200 guests. Ideal for weddings, birthdays, christenings... Early bookings advised as mostly booked throughout the year.

We recently had a familyfuneral reception at this venue and so it was a very difficult time for our family, however, Steve and his team were so wonderful in helping us plan it all from the very beginning. Everything was taken care of, the decorations, the slideshow, the music, even the cleaning and parking was arranged for us. It just meant that as a family we didn’t have to worry about anything and could really spend time with our friends and loved ones in grieving and honouring our family member. Well don’t to Steve and his team. We really couldn’t have gotten through the day without you!

Great event venue, the staff are friendly. However when a room has been given for event hirer it should only be for them. The staff were all over in the room no privacy.

The decor was amazing; the staff were well-trained, efficient and helpful and the atmosphere was tremendous. Best to go for the Gold service; that way it's all done for you. Chill and enjoy!
