Very good pizza, nice vibe. Music a bit out of theme, and for some reason was rather empty. Would still definitely go again!

Lovely wine bar with tasty pizza and wine. The waitress was very attentive, maybe to moore for my liking. But the tiramisu doesn’t hit the mark, we couldn’t even eat it. Greasy, buttery, tasteless with too much coffee.

Wine was nice.... when we got it!!! We walked in as someone walked out complaining, then witnessed at least four tables come in and leave after not being served... maybe a one-off bad day, however the service is possibly the worst I have ever experienced! Even Pete from TOWIE, on the table next to us, had to wait a long time... Potential to be so much better! Re-rated to 4 stars as more staff arrived and they turned it around!

Absolutely loved it! The Wife and I spent a weekend I London and, hands down, this was one of the nicest pizzas I've ever had! It was phenomenal, I highly recommend the spinach and egg pizza. The staff were lovely too! For such a busy area, it's seemed to carve out a little slice of small town peace and quiet. We loved it, it's silly to say but it was a highlight of the weekend.

After a long day walking around Excel, this friendly wine bar was the perfect place to stop for a meal. The staff were very welcoming and provided great service all evening. Although the food offer is mainly pizzas, they were delicious and there was a fabulous choice of wines by the glass. There was a lovely atmosphere and we had a very enjoyable evening. We booked this place for our Team build after going to Locked in a room. This place did not disappoint from booking a table at ease, the service provided, lots of food and drink and the ambience of the restaurant it's a place that we would come again. The team enjoyed themselves!

This is the second time I ate here (last time was 2.5 years ago). I found the space lovely, the music fitting and subtle. The salad was fine, the pizzas were very good, and the wine list was good as well. The service was the friendliest and most attentive I experienced in the last month I've spent traveling in the UK. The menu is not extensive, just a couple of salads, pastas and lots of pizzas on offer, with one dessert (excellent tiramisu) - perfect for a lighter, more casual meal. Will definitely return whenever we're in the Docklands!

I had dinner last night with some of my work colleagues and the service was excellent. We were served by Nathalia and Inesa which were both very friendly and professional. We had a lovely conversation with both and while ordering we went with Nathalia’s recommendations. All of our food arrived together and quickly, the pizzas were excellent and the dessert (tiramisu) was huge, one was enough for everyone to share however, I do not share my dessert. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely perfect. We can't get enough of it. Every time we come back it gets better. Cozy environment, flauless service, delicious food, and fair price. If you want a calm, refreshing place to drink a beer with some friends or a romantic dinner there's no better choice around. Huge shout-out to Ms Oana, the best waitress in London :)

I've visit La barrique more then couple of times now. I usually visit with family or friends because the place has lovely atmosphere. The staff working there provides Excellent service and is friendly. I recommend this place to everyone as it suits all people. The pizzas there are the best so I always keep on comming back. When I went there couple of times I was few times welcomed and looked after by Elena. She knows how to provide Excellent customer service. Staff like that should be everywhere.

Pizza was delicious although I didn't order pizza originally. 10 minutes after ordering, the waitress approached me and told me that they had run out of sauce for the chicken and could not fulfil my order, no problem I thought, so i asked for the vegetarian alternative only to be told that the last vegetarian one was given to the person i was eating with. I ended up with the pizza because i didn't really have much choice, I wasnt given a menu to look at so I could change my mind, so I went for the only thing I could think of. I could understand if the restaurant was busy but it really wasn't. But , as I said the pizza I did get served was very nice.

Food was superb, the wine selection is very enjoyable. Gin is served in the appropriate glass. Service is attentive and friendly. Great place to go as a group to eat sharing platters and also as good for a nice meal for 2.

Absolutely fantastic Lasagne, we have had this several times now and have never been disappointed. The calzone is also monstrously good. Great wine and a lovely ambience, highly recommended. We would advise booking a table if there has been an event at the Excel.

The only place near the Excel centre where you'll get a decent ale! That might seem odd, but when I visited they had two craft ales on tap and a couple bottled, which easily beats anything within a mile or so. They also serve very nice food, reasonably priced for the area, and have friendly, attentive staff - a great place to eat and drink.

Nice place near the eXcel, with surprisingly good food (pizza mostly. The Greek salad was great too). The price is reasonable, and the staff very helpful, although the lighting could be improved. It gives an intimate atmosphere, but you can't see that well what you are eating :P)

Had lunch here on a Saturday with a friend. We had the cheese and meat platter and a pizza each. * Staff was kind but slow - had to walk to the waitress to get our bill * Food was good quality for the price * Portion sizes are large, which I appreciated after having spent the morning at a conference * Decor is charming and there is an authentic fire oven * The biggest disappointment for me wasn't even the slow service but TV's on in the restaurant!!!! appalling and not in keeping with the atmosphere. If you're looking for an easy going lunch, you're at the right place here but slow service and TV's make it feel like a glorified kabab shop.

Can't really say anything bad, about La' Barrique. Wonderfull food, and a great atmosphere in the resturant overall. Cosy and quiet. We visited the resturant many times, during our stay in London. It was a real joy, eating there everytime. The service was on point, and always with a smile. If we ever come near this area again, we will for sure, visit La' Barrique again.

Hidden between the excel and Custom House DLR, I was surprised to find such a nice establishment. Pizza is the main food sold here, we found it to be really tasty and reasonably priced. As you might expect for a wine cafe they also specialise in wine, we tried a recommended £28 of New Zealand Sauvignon which was fantastic. Only negative was a takeaway coffee I got there on another occasion which wasn't great, but not worth dropping a star for as I'd certainly go back again. Easily the best food & drink in the Royal Victoria area.
