Irina was so welcoming and accommodating even when we arrived early to the appointment. She helped me to choose dresses to try on, and was happy for me to try as many as I wanted. She made my whole family feel comfortable and we were not pressured into trying/buying anything! Irina’s knowledge and skill in alterations is such an asset and I can’t wait to go back to her to get my dress fitted. Thank you so much again for all your help! I would highly recommend Lace and Button to anyone.

I found Irina through Google and after reading all the amazing reviews I decided to book an appointment with her and another tailor to take in my wedding dress. Irina discussed with me what I adjustments I wanted and got me to try on the dress. She further discussed my alterations with me and made some suggestions. I knew there and then that I didn't need to go to my other appointment. My dress required taking in, shortening the length and some adjustments to the cup area. Irina explained what work was required in order to do all of these things, which included taking off the lace overlay and reapplying it after which sounded like a mammoth task, but she was so relaxed and reassured me she had done it multiple times and could be done. She also suggested a bustle at the back instead of a loop for my wrist, which I am so grateful for as it worked perfectly on the day. Her prices are reasonable especially with the amount of work that she puts in and I am so grateful to have found her! I was so happy when I tried the dress back on after the alterations. It looked exactly the same, but it fit me perfectly! Thank you Irina and sorry about the glitter all over your floor from the dress lol Francene

It's difficult finding a bridal boutique where you are put at ease and made to feel so comfortable to try out dresses and say exactly how you feel about each style! Lace and Button is just the place to explore styles (complete with a glass of bubbly!) with the extremely helpful guidance of Irina. She encouraged me and my Maid of Honour to try out every kind of style to help us find the right fit for us (all the while explaining each accessory pairing of veils, head pieces and additional attachments to dresses!) She did not push us at all but gave us all the help and attention we needed. It's an added bonus that her dresses are so reasonably priced for the quality you get! It was a memorable experience for my Maid of Honour and I. Thank you Irina!!

Great service! I found Irina online 2 months before my wedding and she quickly set up an appointment, giving me plenty of time pre-wedding. My dress was a Riki Dalal with intricate bead work all over it so i wasn't sure what was possible with regards to taking it in around the bust. Irina assured me she could do this and also suggested some improvements on the sleves which I'm so glad i took her up on. As you can see from the photos (and in person close up) you would never be able to tell that it was taken in in numerous areas, magic! Thank you so much!! Highly recommend for price and service

Irina was the most amazing seamstress I could have asked for!! I had originally booked in to have my wedding dress alterations with another seamstress but a few weeks before my wedding she was unable to complete this for me. Irina was incredibly helpful very last minute- she gave me an appointment on the day of my request and did a huge job of taking in my dress and completely redesigning the bust to fit my figure like a glove!! I can't recommend Irina highly enough. When another lady let me down at the last minute, Irina immediately responded to my enquiry and booked me in very quickly for my wedding dress alteration. I lost a lot of weight and could no longer fit into my wedding dress. I found Irina by chance (4 weeks before my wedding) and I am so thankful that I did. She altered my dress by about 2 dress sizes and it was a complicated job. My dress now fits me perfectly and Irina was able to alter it to such a high standard that you can't even tell it was altered. It is so difficult to find an amazing and trustworthy tailor. I would 100% reccomend her!

I would highly recommend Irina to alter any outfit. She tweaked my Mother of the Bride outfit to perfection. On the day I felt wonderful and my dress fitted me perfectly. She is very reasonable too.

I found Irina after my previous seamstress retired. She is professional, a perfectionist and is proper in her work as well as being very affordable. She altered 2 dresses for me; the first was an occasion dress which had a triangular keyhole back which was too loose across the back. It involved having to take the side zip fastening off as well. Bit of a trickier job but Irina did exemplary work and I couldn't tell it had been altered at all. The 2nd dress was a square neckline summer midi dress. The dress fit well as the bust was elasticated but the sleeves slipped off my narrow shoulders. Irina tightened them up, and then when they still slipped off, fashioned a ribbon tie across the back with Diamanté detailing which not only solved the problem but made the dress more interesting. Being a petite person at 5 " tall, I often have problems with trousers or full length dresses. I shall definitely be contacting Irina again if I need to have more alterations in the future.
