The Mirror Mirror bridal team were amazing and helped me find my dream dress for my destination wedding in just one fitting! I absolutely loved my dress and it was so quick and easy - you see on TV brides struggling with their decision but I was so lucky to have such an experienced company put my mind at ease. My stylist Sham was so knowledgeable and an excellent fitter, then my seamstress Sheila made sure the dress fit every inch of my body. They were the dream team and a joy to work with, I would do this experience all over again!

A thousand thanks to the ladies at Mirror Mirror. Through two postponements due to Covid restrictions, they were flexible and helpful, and gave a flawless experience. My dress and veil turned out beautifully. I went into the shop not knowing what I wanted, but knowing what I didn't want (a bit of the reverse of most brides), and the absolutely perfect dress was the result. Special thanks to Meb for taking the lace from my mum's wedding dress train and incorporating it into my veil. It was a really special touch that meant so much to my mum and me!

I had the most incredible experience with Mirror Mirror! They made my bridal journey truly memorable and special. I had originally wanted to start dress shopping at Christmas last year, but the lockdown meant I had to wait until mid April to start trying on dresses. I was nervous as it was about dress shopping, but this situation made me even more anxious about finding the right thing in time for my October wedding. Mirror Mirror were offering virtual consultations in late March and that's when I first met Meb. We had an extremely lovely and helpful virtual session, where Meb pulled dresses for me, showed close up detail and even put them onto a mannequin so I could see the shape. This was so much better than other bridal shops' virtual appointments where dresses would just hang limply from a hanger. From this session alone, I was able to narrow down a few dresses I knew I definitely wanted to try on when I was finally able to come in and I started to feel excited/hopeful about dress shopping. When we were finally allowed back in shops, the first shop I visited was Mirror Mirror. Walking into this boutique is like stepping into a fairy tale - it's incredibly beautiful and everyone was so welcoming. Even though we had to follow lots of Covid protocol, Meb still made it a fun and comfortable experience. I knew the first dress I tried on was 'the one' but I still tried on loads more different styles. I never felt rushed and the input on how things looked always felt thoughtful and genuine. I also never felt pushed into making a rush decision on buying a dress. Meb was very clear and realistic about the ordering situation with the dress. After visiting a few more shops that weekend, I returned to Mirror Mirror the next day to buy my dress. They even let me try it again before committing. The entire experience from there forward was so personal and supportive. Every fitting through to picking up my dress was a wonderful experience. I genuinely cannot thank the Mirror Mirror team enough, especially Meb and Becca, for going above and beyond and being so supportive throughout this journey. I would recommend any UK bride go out of her way to visit Mirror Mirror!

A massive thank you to the Mirror Mirror team for making our wedding day so special with the most perfect dress, the Pronovias Elara. Mirror Mirror had an excellent selection of dresses with really professional and friendly staff. I had a couple of appointments with Tasha, she was really helpful and made the appointments really fun! She gave me the space to make the final decision before I went ahead with the one (which was a big moment given I've tried on over a hundred dresses before this point). Because of Covid, I went by myself to the dress fitting appointments, my fitter Meb was really friendly and knowledgeable, she even filmed how to do the bustle on the wedding dress which was so useful on the wedding day! Meb was so experienced which definitely calmed my nerves, especially as a Covid bride! She even hand-steamed my veil with my dress (which I got from another supplier) which meant I had one less thing to do on our wedding day which definitely helped! I felt beautiful and confident on our wedding day, thank you so much for the most beautiful, perfect wedding dress. I would definitely recommend Mirror Mirror to future brides!

Thank you so much for helping to get me my dream wedding dress. I had an unconventional dress shopping experience as I ordered during a lockdown, but the team were so accommodating so I could try on my dresses at home. Meb then did an amazing job getting my dress fitted with not that much time to go, she really worked her magic. Wedding dress shopping can be extremely daunting...particularly when you have no idea what style of dress you want! I was recommended Mirror Mirror by a friend and, from the minute I stepped inside, I felt so at ease. The store is so beautifully laid out, and has an incredibly range of dresses and designers, without feeling totally overwhelming and unmanageable. I had a great experience with all of the Mirror Mirror team - and a huge thanks in particular to Shamel and Meb. I met Shamel for my first two visits, she really listened to my thoughts and was so patient, not pressuring me or rushing me in any way - and helped me find "The Dress." I then had every fitting appointment with Meb who was just incredible. Her attention to detail was exceptional, she tailored my dress perfectly, helped with some very last minute alterations, was unfailingly kind and patient, and also helped create a beautiful bespoke veil. At Mirror Mirror, all of the alterations are done in house which was so helpful, rather than finding another dressmaker. I had so many compliments on my wedding dress and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mirror Mirror to anyone.

Mirror Mirror was recommended to me by a friend and I am so grateful. My experience at Mirror Mirror was brilliant. All of my appointments were with Shamel, who was so helpful and knowledgeable with finding my dress. She was kind and friendly at each appointment and made me have more body confidence in the dress. Shamel sourced the veil I chose and hand beaded my straps as well as adding beads onto the bodice which transformed the dress. All of my alterations were done in house which was so helpful, rather than finding another dressmaker. I made so many appointments to find my perfect dress and went to lots of bridal stores and boutiques, but I can honestly say, that the second I walked through the front door at Mirror Mirror, I knew I would get my dress from Maria, Meb and the team. The store itself is incredibly welcoming with a great range of dresses without feeling overwhelming and all the ladies that work there were so incredibly lovely. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted and decided to go for a couture custom designed gown, and I couldn’t be happier with my dress and the service and support I received. Meb and Sandra were absolutely amazing, so supportive, so patient and above all extremely experienced and knowledgeable and I felt at ease with them right away. I had so many compliments on how gorgeous my dress was, and I felt a million dollars all day. The whole experience was truly wonderful, and I am just so sad its over! Absolutely amazing experience. From beginning to end we were treated wonderfully . My best friend (bride to be) was listened to and the very first choice of dress was "the one". Our assistant (sorry I have forgotten her name which is awful) was perfect. Kind and utterly genuine. I would most certainly recommend this bridal store if you to add another beautiful memory to your bridal journey (sorry photos aren't great because every photo I took had someone in it!)

Our sales assistant was super helpful and clearly very experienced. She chose some great dresses for me to try on. We were a little disappointed that our pre-booked appointment started 20 minutes late, since we had coordinated this around other commitments. The reason given was that a walk-in customer was being helped. We felt it was a little rude that this customer was prioritised when we had paid for and pre-booked our appointment. Apart from that though, it was clear Andrea had a lot of expertise. Although I found my dress elsewhere, I have no doubt this would be a great place for many brides to find their perfect dress.

I cannot recommend Mirror Mirror highly enough for an all round wonderful wedding dress shopping experience. From the second I sat down with my stylist, Becca and explained to her I wanted a dress I could dance, eat and rock climb in, my experience at Mirror Mirror was nothing short of wonderful. Becca listened to my ideas and asked questions about the plan for the day, she focused on me and wouldn’t let the bridal party interfere. She let me try on a selection of dresses I pulled, and the ones my mum wanted me to try on, but all along she knew that Decklyn was the dress for me, and she was spot on. I was convinced I wouldn’t find a dress on my first visit to a bridal shop, but Becca understood what I was after completely and I am so pleased I walked away with a dress that day. Meb my stylist could've have been nicer or more patient. She truly understands what The Big Day's all about for the bride-to-be and has such an eye for her craft. Andrea was able to articulate and capture what I was searching for in a sketch and so my couture journey began. I cannot recommend Mirror Mirror enough! In fact, my bridesmaid who accompanied me has sent at least two more brides there since. Andrea was brilliant start to finish. She took us on a journey through a whole host of options. She knew what would make me uncomfortable, she knew how to read us, she challenged us to think a bit differently, and she found me the best dress I could have wished for. I love it so much that I bought my wedding dress on my first ever bridal shop visit! I have to admit that I would have struggled to attend the appointment & fittings if my office hadn't been nearby but I got lucky! Absolutely wonderful experience with Mirror Mirror. The girls were amazing through and through and I had the best time from my very first time trying dresses on to the 4 fittings I had. The boutique is lovely and their selection is hugely varied from classic to modern. I went to them because they stocked Hayley Paige dresses and found the one I wanted on the third dress I tried on. I ended up being a bit of a panicky bride wanting it to be perfect, obviously, but Meb (my seamstress) was absolutely amazing and helped me through all my questions and made sure the dress fit me perfectly. I would recommend this boutique to anyone. Definite tip is to book as they get very busy and will likely not be able to fit you in if you show up on the day. I'll miss my trips to mirror mirror but the end result was better than I could have imagined

Magical goosebump experience with Mirror Mirror! After discovering some funny coincidences with Natasha, she helped me find THE dress! It felt like I was at the right place, at the right time with the right help and everything fell into place! The subsequent fittings were professional and the after care/dry cleaning service made my life so easy - the dress came back good as new (I brought my dress to my honeymoon and dragged it across the beach and into the sea!) I don’t write many google reviews but was really happy with my apt and as I had searched the reviews previously feel I had to post. Absolutely loved my experience here! I was worried as I’d seen some negative reviews but I cannot rate the staff enough! They were so patient, I tried on so many different dresses and they worked with me understanding my likes/ dislikes. I’m 3.5months pregnant and wanted to dress shop before I’m too big as the wedding is after the baby. They were so good with sizing and fitting me in to the dresses despite the bump! I visited 2 other stores that day and think Mirror Mirror were the best. I haven’t 100% decided on the dress yet but their help means I know what style and that I’ll probably end up getting my fave from there. They have such a range of dresses too. What an amazing place! My first ever bridal shopping experience and I loved it. The boutique itself is beautiful, the dress and accessories selection extensive, but the staff really make it exceptional. I felt so welcome here from the moment I arrived, was taken to my own private dressing room with a sofa for my guests and a huge mirror and standing platform. My stylist was not only friendly, funny and sweet but unbelievably talented with an eye for bridal styling AND fast seamstress skills (she is the daughter of the head seamstress and it shows). I thought I would feel awkward in my underwear, in unflattering style dresses, or my vision wouldn't be understood... but I barely had to say much for her to understand exactly the look I was going for. Before long I was in a beautiful gown, pinned perfectly to fit my figure, with makeshift sleeves added, a veil and a handmade hairpiece. My friend took photos of me with my jaw wide open because I was shocked at how they created my dream bridal look (I love that they allow you to take photos as many boutiques do not. It implies they are confident in their service that brides will come back, and so they should be!). I felt amazing, not rushed, and listened to. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to any brides-to-be. It's clear that they pride themselves on service and alterations which is what will make any dress perfect. I have some more places to try with different designers but the service here was so fantastic I'm sure I'll be back for my dress. THANK YOU!

From trying on dresses to the end product, the team at Mirror Mirror were incredible throughout the whole process. It was the first dress shop I went to and Becca gave us first class service and made me feel at ease as I chose my dress. This was my first bridal appointment, with my mother and sister, and I was blown away! We came on a Saturday and had an appointment with Linda who was absolutely fantastic. Linda made me feel very comfortable and was exceptionally skilled at understanding and working with our expectations. We tried on a number of dresses that just got better and better! I came to Mirror Mirror on the 5th September and was greeted by the wonderful Meb. Throughout my appointment Meb was falling over herself to be accommodating, and made my Mum, maid of honour and myself extremely comfortable in what could otherwise have been quite an intimidating situation. She really listened to my thoughts and she was the one who picked out my dream Pronovias dress in the end, and within our budget too. She made brilliant points listening to and fully understanding my insecurities and advised on certain materials and styles to fit my body shape (I'm very short and very curvy so it can be very easy to look awful in dresses). We ended up falling in love with her choice of dress which was only the third one we tried on, so we decided to abandon the other pile of dresses we'd chosen on the rack and went ahead with Meb's choice. I've never much felt comfortable in expensive or glamorous environments, but Meb made my appointment an effortless and wonderful one, and we are immensely grateful for her kindness, warmth and support. Every time I tried a dress on, without asking she would angle and style me so that my Mum and MoH could take photos, and was rushing around behind me to fix my hair and train to ensure they got the best shots. I felt both important and glamorous which is rare for me. My Mum and MoH were equally relieved and impressed with the service. I had the same seamstress - Vanessa - for each of my three fittings, she was so friendly, professional and talented. I have nothing but positive things to say about Mirror Mirror - they were extremely patient with me, even though I spent ages trying on dresses at my first appointment, and then when I actually bought my dress, I ended up being there for at least an hour over the scheduled time! I had my first appointment with Natalie a few weeks ago and first impressions were the shop was welcoming and easy to find. I didn't really have an exact look I was going for but Natalie helped pick dresses for me that would flatter my figure. Third dress I tried on I knew I found the one! The Best and Only Shop You Will Need! I went to Mirror Mirror first as it came very highly recommended then went to 3 other shops (Bond Street, Essex and St Albans) so that I could compare and have other experiences. I was so distressed about not finding my perfect dress (because I have never needed to search for anything 'perfect' before). I was truly at my wits end. Until I went back to Mirror Mirror. Meb (the assistant that worked with me) is a trained dressmaker and she has now used an outstanding dress they had and turned it into my PERFECT DREAM dress! They have an unbelievable selection and with their expertise can use the dresses they have to turn them into what you dream of if they are not perfect as they are. Their shop is beautiful and calm, and the fitting rooms are like luxury hotel rooms where you feel special and taken care off. I am so relieved that the most stressful and pressurized part of my wedding planning is over and cant wait to get married in the perfect dream dress that only I will have! Fantastic place, found my dream wedding dress here, it was the third shop I visited, and by far the best. Andrea was fantastic, turning a size 16 sample sale dress into a size 10 dream gown. They were always able to give me an appointment, even at short notice running up to the wedding day. I felt like I always had plenty of time. Andrea is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! I honestly felt like I had been given my own fairy godmother (well sister should we say as far too young and glam to sound like an old god mother). I really had given up hope at I had a baby last year so not feeling my best and this was the 7th shop I'd visited. Andrea really listened to me and also gave amazing advice. I think the big difference from the other shops I'd been to was her flair and talented eye to know what shapes fit best and her huge skill and knowledge as to how to tweak bits of the dress, showing how the dress could be adapted and pinning bits here and there to get the most flattering lines etc. She is also a joy to spend time with and makes you feel beautiful and as she is so gorgeous herself it comes as a real compliment. I couldn't be happier! ...er well unless I suddenly shrunk to a size 10 but that's not the shops fault and the fact they can make me feel amazing in a size 16 is pretty impressive I think! The shop itself is also gorgeous, feels like stepping into a glamorous boudoir of an old Hollywood star (ha well clearly one who had a lot of husbands). The changing room is brilliant and you really get the space to see the dress clearly. Some have been a bit cramped with not great lighting. As well as the fabulous selection of dresses they also have some really beautiful accessories and shoes. Let's see how I go on the day but I was wowed to find a pair of heels which actually felt comfy and looked elegant for my 8.5 size feet which have been housed in trainers for the entirety of maternity leave! ANDREA YOU ARE THE BEST THERE IS!! I got married in June this year and had visited a fair few wedding dress boutiques before coming across mirror mirror & it stood out head and shoulders above alot of the other boutiques. This was mainly because it is such a lovely looking and beautiful place to visit and really makes wedding dress shopping feel special, it was definitely somewhere I looked forward to revisiting for my dress fittings. The only reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5 is because after choosing my dress I began to have doubts mainly because I had gone for a dress that I never thought I would choose but I absolutely loved it when I saw it on, but after my first fitting things got even worse as that fitting did not go so well with the lady that I had, she was a lovely lady but things just did not seem to be working out with my dress & fitting, therefore I was very close to buying a brand new dress altogether & ditching the other one, however!! I was kindly pointed in the direction of Andrea the manager whom I honestly cannot praise enough, she was a godsend and really one of the nicest, most realist & gorgeous people I've ever met! She definitely knew her stuff and very importantly, she kept it real, she was not just there to sell you uneccessary things, but there to support and guide you to have you looking your absolute best for your big day. After she helped me I absolutely fell head over heels for my dress again which is the way I felt when I first saw and tried it on and I am so glad that I chose the dress I did, it was fabulous and I couldn't have asked for more, I felt like a princess and even cried a few tears of joy when I saw the final finished dress on me, it fit every inch of me perfectly! I would definitely recommend mirror mirror and most importantly, I would definitely recommend asking for Andrea, she will not let you down and you will not be disappointed, I promise you! I had the most wonderful dress buying experience with Mirror Mirror - they’ve not only got one of the best collections (all popular brands including Pronovias, Gemy Maalouf etc) but the staff really know their stuff. I went in with a very set idea of what I wanted but they really encourage you to be open minded and it was because of this that I ended up going for a totally different look to what I had initially envisaged. There is a senior fitter there called Andrea who is absolutely incredible; she’s a fully qualified dress maker with an unbelievable amount of experience and so her technical knowledge of how your dress should be altered is insane. I trusted all of her suggestions every step of the way. In general the staff are incredibly friendly but very honest (which I think is really important given the special nature of the day!) You get to try the dresses in a little private room where you are not disturb and can enjoy the time with your bridesmaids or family. The girl that served me was really nice and knowledgeable and able to advice how to tweek the dress to be the perfect match. If you as a bride feel confident in your outfit, you will radiate this joy to your guests. Thanks to Mirror Mirror, I felt like a million dollars on my big day. Tash, the original sales advisor, was amazing. She really listened to what I was looking for, and made suggestions that led to me having a great variety of choice and finding the dress much quicker than in other shops where you are just left to choose for yourself with no real advisory touch. What I am especially grateful for is how the shop dealt with me post sales when there were problems to be fixed during the fitting. I did not have a great first fitting, simply because I did not connect with the first fitter, leaving me disheartened and unsure if the dress could be changed to what i had in mind during the sales stage. Tash swooped in, heard me out and just fixed things. Meb, my new fitter, made me look and feel like a queen on the day. The way Mirror Mirror not only resolved the specific concerns I had, but then actually went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience of buying the most important dress I will ever buy, well that was just humbling for me. Well done on all the hard work and love the owners of this boutique put into their jobs.

Do not give the shop your exact wedding date. Make it at least 2 weeks before the deadline. Bear in mind that the whole process of choosing, ordering, delivery and alterations can take a long time. Each dress is ordered in the nearest standard size and then upon delivery to the shop, it is adjusted to fit the shape of the bride. I was surprised to learn that the shop does not have exact dates for delivery from the factories - dresses turn up when they are ready and the system is very haphazard. I realised that I was being fobbed off by the staff as the delivery date was supposed to be May and then it became June and then the dress finally arrived in the shop in July. And then there is the whole process of alterations. These can only be done Mon-Fri during office hours and absolutely not at weekends or in the evenings. Therefore, it means asking for time off from work, not easy if it means three daytime fittings in a fortnight. Mirror Mirror has no comprehension of how difficult this can be and how employers resent such requests. This is the most stressful part, especially when it is so difficult to get through on the telephone to juggle appointments when the shop has a tight bookings schedule. I ordered my dress 8 months before the wedding and it was only ready 6 days before the Big Day and even then I had to push hard for the dress to be ready on time. Be warned!

My experience since day one has been more than perfect. Becca is amazing and very talented at what she does. She gave me so much advice and support and she got my vision straightaway! Becca made me chose 4 gowns and based on my choices she brought me 10 more. She said she could red my style and apparently I was choosing the same designer all time without even knowing this! Becca tuned into my personality and she brought me the perfect dress, of the Yolan Cris which is designed by two sisters Yolanda and Cristina from Barcelona. So it was no surprise I fell in love with one of her designs from 2017, Grama. The dress is so unique! Boho but classic and modern at the same time, with masterful details, embellishments from floral appliques to carefully layered tulles, luxurious beading and impressive train details! Yolancris is really the beautiful rebels of the bridal world and true bohemians at heart! Thanks to Mirror Mirror to find the most gorgeous and perfect wedding dress for me.

I got married: 30/09/17 at St.Paul's Cathedral, London. I wanted my dress to be timelessly simple but also dramatic... I believe it certainly was! My dress was very simple with a huge over skirt with a fabulous train. It was exactly what I wanted. It originally had some lace detail covering the back which for me didn't work. Therefore I asked for the lace to be removed and instead let it have a low back plus we added extra satin buttons to the full length of the underskirt again to add something extra special plus make it more customised and more my own. THIS PLACE IS EXCEPTIONAL. Above and beyond - and I am a picky person. If I have one piece of advice for any bride: Go see Meb. Especially if you have customisations or a body type that requires deep attention to detail. I have been to a lot of tailors in London, and there is no other like her. She listens, does what you ask, but also gives polite feedback. She can work miracles like I've never seen done before. And if what you think you want will look less than amazing, she'll explain perfectly why it might not work and then take the time to figure out how to give you exactly what you want, done better than you thought. MEB IS AMAZING. Last point - She's done 3 dresses for me now, the 2nd I brought to her because some well-respected tailor in London ruined it. Hemmed it too short, did weird cuts, I was beyond devastated. I thought it was beyond repair. She added custom lace to it to fix the length, and redesigned certain parts so it flowed perfectly on my body. I am still shocked she was able to save it. Don't go anywhere else but here. Trust me.
