A very easy place to access from the side of the river. The venue is a large space spread over more than 1 floor. There is ample rest room facilities and plenty of room to move around even when events are being hosted.

The annual Whisky Show at Old Billingsgate was excellent. The venue works particularly well for this show. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are very appropriate. When the weather is good the views of the Thames and the Bridge are breathtaking.

Old Billingsgate Market is the name given to what is now a hospitality and events venue in the City of London, based in the 1875 built Victorian building that was originally Billingsgate Fish Market, the world's largest fish market in the 19th century.

We had our Capgemini Invent 1000 celebration here. Amazing night. It is a huge place, capable of hosting many folks. Staff were friendly and helpful and the evening (although busy and complex to manage) went without a hitch. Recommended.

Old Billingsgate is a massive event space in the city of London. It has good views of Thames River as it sits at the bank of the river and equally sits between two underground train stations ( Monument underground station and London Bridge Station) which are just few minutes walking distances. It is ideal for conference, wedding reception, seminar etc. It is convertible space. Amazing place to host events and conferences.

Went to the London Bierfest, 18th October. Wasn't too impressed with the security team and their queue management (or rather their lack of). Inside though the building was easy to get around, not over crowded like many other places. Toilets seemed under provisioned - there was a queue at the gents every time I went. I was also not sold on the PA rig, as it seemed to be of below average quality, with distortion and clipping on places. May have been the event crew there, rather than the venue though.

I attended an awards ceremony here in mid November 2017. It was my first time attending anything here. It is very easy to get to being a very short walk from Bank tube station. the building itself is quite something to behold being a repurposed fish market. The staff were extremely friendly from the cloakroom to the bar staff to the table service the food and drink were top class which was a real surprise. it was quite easy to get a taxi when the event ended. I had a very enjoyable time here. side bar this venue features inthe current Heineken ad featuring racing Legend Jackie Stewart.

Good events venue. Centrally located so easy to get to. Lots of space so doesn't feel crowded. Staff doing the hosting are very professional. Amenities are clean. Downside, if there is heavy rain you might get the occasional rain drop on your head if you are sitting in the wrong place.

Excellent location. Across the river from London Bridge - It's a great venue which holds several various events throughout the year. Just attended the 'Tech Day' event which hosted new and exciting Business's showcasing, talking about opportunities, growth and favourable movements in many subjects. Talks held as well as the exhibition stands. Been here a couple of times for both an evening and day event's and certainly fits the bill well, and can cater for most occasions for sure. A**** LDT x

Great location for corporate events. Really good sized event location, with room for catering too. They split off into separate rooms with curtains. To avoid huge levels of noise they can offer headphones so several presentations can take place at once. It comes across as a highly organised and professional events venue. Strongly recommend

Nice venue. Attended here for an awards do, was big enough and the decor was decent. Was able to hear everything so the acoustics were spot on. Food that was supplied was very good, unaware as to whether or not that was anything to do with the venue or a third party.

Great venue. Welcome drinks on the veranda, dining in the great hall, followed by a retreat to the bar area. We were treated to a fabulous live band - plenty of space on the dance floor. Staff were brilliant and very attentive. Super organised and very professional.

I imagine this is more down to the organisers but just in case this is useful feedback - the queue to enter was mad and the there wasn’t enough food for the number of attendees which is pretty basic organisation detail. Good size hall with large stage for a band. Hall was split in 2 halves so one half had many tables with a bar. And the other half had large sofas, standing tables and another bar. Toilet facilities and nice and clean. And large serviced cloakroom. Venue had approximately 600 people or more. There was also a fire exit for smokers to go out near riverbank, view of the shard. Few minutes walk from Monument tube station

Quite a convenient location with an interesting and lovely riverside view. The event I attended perhaps didn't use the space as well as it could. And as the second year running at that location it was telling that they had changed the layout. I took a star off the review due to being in line to enter that event for an hour!

Really large event space available for dry hire. The venue is ideal for larger scale events. Located next to the Thames, the venue offers outdoor space overlooking the river. The venue is within walking distance of Monument Station, Fenchurch Street and Liverpool St.

Been to this venue twice now and it's a really lovely, spacious venue which makes it perfect for office parties. Nicely decorated, lovely exterior and good facilities. Would recommend as a large event venue.

Good event space in London. A bit difficult to deliver significant amount of kit for e.g. a trade show as we did, since there is no space to park outside and the delivery entrance gets blocked easily since it is so small.

Very cool meeting space for special events! Converted from an old fish processing warehouse, it's now available for companies to rent out for conferences and special events. The bones of the building inside are rather exquisite, with Roman pillars as support around the periphery. The bathrooms are nice, but only available in one location in a rather large building. It can get cool inside on the lower level, so bring a cloak or wrap just in case it's a dreary London day where the cold seeps into your bones. Went to a charity dinner here and it could have been better. It started with a canapé reception and the staff didn't quarter the room properly, so some people got lots and some nothing. The 2 canapés I had were very tasty, but my husband is veggie & didn't get anything. And his main course was quite small - he thought it was a starter! On the plus side, there are loads of loos, so no queuing.

A decent events venue, but some of the sign posts for rooms were a little misleading. To get to one of the rooms, you have to go through one of the conference areas and around the back of the stage.

I've worked at many an event here and always found them incredibly enjoyable and the staff are always very helpful. There is a great terrace (fake grass) area outside but the Thames where, especially in the summer, event organisers are able to you to serve drinks and hosted bbqs etc.

Old Billingsgate Market is the name given to what is now a hospitality and events venue in the City of London, based in the Victorian building that was originally Billingsgate Fish Market, the world's largest fish market in the 19th century. The first Billingsgate Market building was constructed on Lower Thames Street in 1850 by the builder John Jay, and the fish market was moved off the streets into its new riverside building. This was demolished in around 1873 and replaced by an arcaded market hall designed by City architect Horace Jones and built by John Mowlem & Co. in 1875, the building that still stands on the site today. In 1982, the fish market itself was relocated to a new site on the Isle of Dogs in east London. The 1875 building was then refurbished by architect Richard Rogers, originally to provide office accommodation. Now used as an events venue, it remains a major London landmark and a notable Grade II listed building.

Billingsgate is a wholesale market steeped in the history and social fabric of London. The market is renowned for selling fish from all over the world, and has been known to shift over 25,000 tonnes of fish every year, with an annual turnover of about £200m. The market started off as a cluster of stalls and makeshift sheds around docks on the Thames. In 1850, a formal market hall was constructed on Lower Thames Street to create a centralised space in which merchants could trade. The building wasn't big enough however, and the building was rebuilt in 1873 to meet the requirements of the rapidly flourishing fish trade. Billingsgate lasted in this location for over a hundred years until it had to move again in in 1982. The market hall is now housed in a 13 acre site on the Isle of Dogs.

The first Billingsgate Market Building was built by builder John Jay on Lower Thames Street in 1850, and the fish market was moved from the streets to its new riverside building. This was demolished around 1873 and replaced by an arcaded market hall designed by city architect Horace Jones and built in 1875 by John Mowlem & Co., the building that still stands on the site today. In 1982 the fish market itself was relocated to a new location on the Isle of Dogs in east London. The 1875 building was renovated by architect Richard Rogers, who originally provided office space. Today it is used as a venue and remains a major London landmark and listed building.
