We had our wedding here in August. Everyone we dealt with in the lead up to the day was really helpful and friendly and as a venue, there is a lot of scope to put your own stamp on it.
Special mention to our Production Manager too - Kate!! She couldn't have been more helpful in the build up to the wedding and there were also more than a few weather based challenges on the day. None of which was anyones fault but she sorted everything out and made sure that we had the day that we were hoping for.
The day itself was amazing and the venue and the team here supported us in so many ways in order to make it happen. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue to other looking to tie the knot! Thank you!!

The challenge with this review will be not to write an essay on how wonderful we thought Shoreditch Studios was for our October 2021 wedding!
First, when it came to choosing the venue and getting helpful information, they were great. They came back to us quickly through tagvenue in early January which was the website we used to find them. We made our choice and signed a contract by the end of the month having had a Zoom call with John who was able to virtually walk us through the venue. He sent us a link afterwards which meant we could have the same virtual tour ourselves whenever we wanted. Believe it or not we didn’t see the actual venue in real life until August but by then I felt like I’d been many times.
I can’t recommend highly enough - get a wedding planner to make the whole thing go smoothly - Shoreditch Studios recommended two and the fabulous Wedding Arrangers were spot on. There are still plenty of things you have to think about yourself, even with a planner on hand, and SS’s website was a fantastic source of advice and inspiration. I spent many hours scouring their blogs for all sorts of tips.
Booking what’s called a “dry wedding venue” - nothing to do with alcohol-free you’ll soon learn - may seem a little daunting at first but you’ll be surrounded by experts who do this thing week in week out. It gives you that freedom to do what you really want to do and you don’t have to go crazily overboard to achieve it; the building is wonderful already.
We spent a bit more than the standard on lighting for the dancing and it was well worth it - the dance floor was packed until midnight and the atmosphere was fantastic. I’d always wanted a kid-friendly wedding too and we managed it - once we had the dancing set up in Studio 2 they were able to turn Studio 1 into a little cinema thanks to the built in projector and some apple crate seating. We never thought they’d all really sit still for that but one of the lasting memories for me was popping in to see how they were getting on and seeing their enraptured faces.
The staff were great, everything was seamless as far as I was concerned although I’m sure there was plenty going on behind the scenes. I had to be convinced that we only needed one bathroom attendant to cover the whole venue but everything stayed spotless and I was very impressed.
It’s such a big choice working out where you’re going to have your special day. Make it easy on yourself and pick Shoreditch Studios. :)

We loved having our wedding ceremony here - we looked at it a few years back and ended up coming back to it between our COVID delays. First and foremost - the team are phenomenal, really transparent and helpful. On the day they helped everything go to plan and ahead of time when working with the insurance they were quick communicators and always happy to pick up the phone. I would highly recommend it as somewhere very cool, great London vibe and quirky! Really central too which was great for coaches to get to the reception venue (however please note you can have receptions there - we would off if we hadn't had a plan from before that we'd already paid deposit!)

We had our wedding here in October of this year and I could not recommend the venue highly enough! Everyone we dealt with was professional and accommodating, and a special mention to John, the studio manager, who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed on the day. The venue itself is the perfect blank canvas for couples who, like us, want to put their personal touch on the day. We really can't think of a single downside to this view and would absolutely recommend to anyone else looking to get married in Shoreditch!

We had a wonderful wedding at Kachette in October. The venue allows so much personalisation and is a truly beautiful space. John was very accommodating throughout the process. Thank you!

I've often photographed weddings and events here, and it's one of my favourite East London wedding venues. The staff are accommodating, the spaces are great and I know my clients are always really happy with them too. I've also attended a product launch at the studios as a guest, and it was the perfect location for a promo party too.

I photographed a wedding at Shoreditch Studios recently and must say it was a fantastic day. Great location, amazing staff and a fantastic space for my clients to create their perfect wedding day. Great place to get married if you are looking for East London wedding venues.

I had such a positive experience dealing with this team (particularly John) whilst discussing and planning our wedding. Professional, organised and supportive.

East London event and wedding venues Shoreditch Studios and Kachette are great blank canvas spaces which can be hired for corporate events, birthdays, Christmas parties, weddings or various events. If you are looking for an industrial warehouse, or empty hall for your event, these are some of the best renovated railway arch venues in London.

My husband and I got married at Shoreditch Studios Ltd. December of 2019. It was the dreamiest, most incredible day. The venue is a dry hire, which we loved because we had a very specific feel in mind for our big day. The team was helpful and made everything feel like a breeze. Added bonus of hiring this venue for your wedding, you’re offered assistance from The Wedding Arrangers. They were fantastic in all areas of the planning and really creating the perfect atmosphere. I’ll end with this: perfect and flexible venue. Good for a cozy, indoor, urban vibe. Venue staff were helpful and easy to work alongside. Both them & The Wedding arrangers were on top of absolutely everything. It really was the best day ever.
