Reviews of Trinity Buoy Wharf
M. H.
Beautiful building at the Chainstore as well as the electrician's shop.
Trinity Buoy Wharf' features on the 2021 Great British Seeing Bee and was the location where the New Year's Eve 2020 drones we sent up for the performance above the London O2 too.
They do weddings as well as many events through the year.
Fat boys diner is just next door for a bite to eat for breakfast or lunch.
Limited parking options, so it's best to arrive on foot
J. W. H.
Great place for a short visit. A lot of outdoor artworks, fine river views, space to sit and relax and a small selection of cafe/bars. There is not much parking space and I suspect access by vehicle is controlled. Best approach is by bicycle or on foot.
m. h.
A real hidden gem of a place if you're into querky architecture / art / sculpture vibe, rooted into sea-going heritage of lightship at the mouth of the River Lee. Great views up the Thames and of the O2 too.
D. C.
Went to see the sonic ray. Loved it! the hosts and our tour lady were super friendly and knowledgeable she had pink/red short hair.
J. L.
Somewhere you might not think to head… but it’s worth the walk from the local bus / tube stop for views of the Dome over the Thames and the funky, quirky setup of shopping container converted to office and meeting spaces and of course the lighthouse attached to the home of the Sewing Bee set! There’s also some free historical and quirky art and info and a diner with lovely staff!
A. G.
Secret hideaway across the O2. Apparently there's a Saturday thing here with a ferry from the O2, lights and music.
L. H.
Amazing place, hidden away with a wicked vibe, music and great views. Pick up a rum and coke or fresh beer in a deckchair and chill. Nice bites from the diner or cafe.
M. N.
An amazing gem of a place to explore in London on the River. Well worth adventuring!
E. R.
Great place with lots of interesting details and eye-catching sculptures !
Beautiful views over Thames river and O2 arena.
Perfect location to show to London visitors or meet with your friends.
I. D.
Interesting odd corner of London. Much easier to get to now than when I first went there in the 60s. Great views of the Thames. Diner good place to eat. Also starting or ending point for walk along the Lea River.
A. V. M.
A hidden treasure within the Docklands area, worth visiting just for the eateries and views but it has a lot more to offer.
You used to be able to park here though, it’s a bit of a trek from the nearest station.
M. W.
On a sunny day this is busy. The oiler barge pub is good for a drink. And there is a Thai restaurant that has great views. Plenty of people watching and its big enough to walk around in about an hour
A. J.
Hidden gem in London.
Amazing view, great burger place - best burger so far I have tried & lovely atmosphere.
The lighthouse is open as a viewing tower.
You will be surprised how nice this place is
J. P.
Trinity Buoy Wharf is one of London’s hidden, tranquil spots. The area around the only lighthouse in London consists of the Container City which is a studio and office complex made up of recycled sea shipping containers and Fatboys’ Diner – a 1940’s style American diner used frequently as a film location like Sliding Doors.
R. S.
I have never been there before. I went by accident to take some night photos. I don't regret. The view over the Thames, O2 Arena, Emirates cable cars is stunning. How to get to Trinity Buoy Wharf? Canning Town is the closest tube station.
C. E.
Interesting place, well worth a visit, especially Fatboy's Diner.
C.
Great Hidden Gem in London
Lots to see and great views of the Millennium Dome in this art district
With a cafe and a diner that are both very generous and reasonable, its a great place to visit and get some photos.
T. L.
This is my favourite place in the whole of London. I've been to most areas of this amazing city to cover in my London Lifestyle Blog called Homegirl London. Trinity Buoy Wharf is stunning. It is an industrial wharf / docks which used to make buoys. It is now home to artists and creative businesses. Look around and you will spot art sculptures dotted around. There are colourful shipping container offices. You can eat at Fat Boy's American Diner or The Orchid Cafe. Make sure you visit if you love art, industrial landscapes and want to see something interesting. You get a great view of the O2 Arena which is opposite. You will find a lighthouse here as well!
A. W.
We found this place years ago just after long player was opened. We absolutely love it, it's great for the kids to run around. The best time to come is a weekend as parking is free. There's such a fab view of the o2 and the Thames. Well worth a trip!
P. M.
Great to learn history from the walk plaques, good cafe and an interesting walk
R. B. (.
Lovely place to visit/walk around and be by the river
i.
A rare find, artists, craftists, estheticians from an other planet created a world of it's own.The concept of the "container" turned into an office, living space, workshop, shop, recording studio...or anything but storage has found a stunning incarnation.Well worth a visit.Be aware that the gates are closing at 19h00 daily.
L. C. P.
Iconic with stunning views of the O2 arena and London Docklands. We love photographing weddings in this space and highly recommend it to any London couples wanting a special wedding day in the capital.
G. O.
Beautiful scenic spot.. with nice cafe/coffee shop and diner. A number heart galleries and made this area their home as the environment has lots of character to it. Little bits of history about Michael Faraday are also on display.
m.
Trinity Buoy Wharf is the site of London's only lighthouse, which incidentally doesn't work anymore. Now the site is a exhibition, art studio and office complex made from recycled sea shipping containers and former naval buildings, hence the name of "Container City".
Lots to see and do around this creative hub in East London, but more for professional artists than anything else as it didn't look like you could enter the workshops.
G. S.
Tucked away, but worth a visit. Ultra cool container park full of artists and creatives. Great to walk around as it's right by the Thames opposite the O2 Greenwich.
Tons of history, Faraday's hut is very cool.
P. L.
Came here in the middle of the rain and most of the places were closed. Look forward to come here again in a better condition.
M. M.
Nice place to have a wander around! The easiest access to get to the wharf is from East India DLR station, although I walked from Canning Town through the City Island development.
There are a number of things to see at the Wharf including various event spaces - for example, there was a wedding reception being held whilst I was there.
I have separately reviewed “Fatboy’s diner”, however I feel it is worth mentioning here that the food is really good.
There is also a separate cafe, container workshops, the red lightboat which I believe is a recording studio, a small museum about Faraday called “The Faraday Effect”, and “Longplayer” an art installation which has been playing music non-stop for nearly 20 years.
M. P.
Very interesting place with sculptures, studios and great River views
A. B.
A lovely view of the river and a fascinating world historic place - Michael Faraday and James Clerk Maxwell had their lab here, which still stands, although amazingly there isn't even a plaque.
S. H.
A cool place to chill out for an hour, visit Longplayer, Faraday’s hut, and the cafes... seep in the art culture. A really chilled place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of London.
While your there make sure you find and answer the phone.
S. S.
A visit to the Longplayer. Take up their suggestion of listening from the lantern room. With such a fantastic view of the river it's a great place for a solitary moment.
R. B.
Interesting place where "art" is the main word. It is great to see how people can make something different just by being creative. Remarkable because it is situated between all these modern buildings.
V. A.
Lovely spot and good to see some old buildings remain as so much of the area has been redeveloped, fabulous views too
T. B.
Cool space nice bar a cafe a burger joint and gallery
H. S.
Amazing and unusual eclectic space with great river views of the Dome and Canary Wharf. Steeped in history and home to London's only lighthouse. Arts and events space. Great place for a party!
B. M.
Pretty unique and cool place with lots of interesting buildings and landmarks.
S. H.
We went to find Fatboy's Diner after seeing it on the TV show Great British Sewing Bee after discovering it was not particularly far from where we would be staying during our recent London visit.
We are so glad we found it as the food and service were fantastic. We had the place to ourselves at about 10.30am on a Monday morning (doesn't happen often in a big city like London).
The pancakes were probably some of the best we'd ever had, sausage, egg, bacon and hash browns were lovely and even the cup of tea was great (served with the teabag left in, just how I like it).
If you're ever in the area and want breakfast in an Airstream-style diner, do yourself a favour and check this place out, you won't regret it!
Thank you for the lovely breakfast 😋
A. D.
Awesome! Such an interesting history and a great place for start-up artists! We learned a great deal of its history at an Open House Tour last sunny Sunday, 05Sep21. .Oh! There is a quaint café with good Menu and great cakes! 👍
S. H.
Great place to see. Amazing views from the Lighthouse with a backing track from the Longplayer. The diner from Sliding Doors is outside. Nice little cafe there too. Worth a visit
A. M.
Nice place, a hidden gem in London, never that busy and yet rich in both history and services.
A. S.
Overall, it's a cool place to visit. Lots of interesting arts projects. What would have helped is a clear display of the cafés' working hours, otherwise a visitor might find themselves tired and hungry after walking around the site.
L. M.
Fabulous Thames-side bar, complete with deck chairs and stellar views Weds-Sun, plus a cafe and burger bar.
J. L.
Very little was open on our visit, but the light house was great and the orchard is well worth a visit, food and service fantastic.
M. B.
Love this place, great buzz, always something fun happening. Nice to see excellent restaurants and cafes open there. Great place to explore!
b. s.
Fabolous views of the river and the south bank of the thames.Historic building's and many art works.
W. S.
Some interesting places but at the moment just a development will definitely come when Finished!
F. B.
Nice views and an interesting Eclectic set of art exhibits.
I. F.
This is just the right length of walk from my place to validate coffee and cake at one of the cafes. It is a great place to chill in the sun even in winter there are protected corners to sit and enjoy the river. Only regret that the artists can't be open at the moment.
P. H.
Weather was terrible when I visited, but I will definitely be back to sample the cafe or diner on a nicer day when the lighthouse is open. Fascinating restoration of derelict dock & warehouses into a modern art & craft centre, & very photogenic. Toilets were very clean, well equipped & fully functional!
K. L.
Great venue and excellent food at the dinner.
m. g.
Beautiful art dotted all over very quiet place in the heart of the city
M. B.
Nice place on the outskirts of the city of London. Near to.lots of cafés and restaurant. Walking distance to tower of London. You can seat here and have a bit to eat. Or watch the world go round.
M. A.
Great space for a sit down and refreshment. However, ordering of drinks and food is done online 🙄.
(The location is an absolute sun trap so do becareful! Bring a hat and suncream)
Trinity Wharf please provide some shade/protection please.
S. G.
Fantastic experience going across the Thames in a small boat for the Sonic Ray event at Trinity Buoy. Amazing!
E. J. M.
Very nice area to explore and for a walk around.
L. C.
This wharf is the perfect example of off the beaten track. It is a hidden path from Canning Town station that you navigate from windy paths and a bridge. It is nestled in a housing community of new builds with an array of artistic backdrops and outdoor eating/drinking areas. It can get very busy and space becomes a premium on busy days. However, the main reason is for visiting is the views. Especially on a sunny day, you get a perfect reflection of the river against the O2. There are viewing spots for selfies and panoramic photography. There are riverside walks and a few historic monuments. If you a looking for a nice place to walk on a sunny day it is worth the visit and is a short distance for hustle and bustle of Canary Wharf.
P. N.
Interesting place with good reviews of canary wharf and O2 across the river.
H. S.
Cool place. Great to have a wander around and see the various art installations and quirky bars/cafes. Have a drink by the water, go for a stroll...glad we found it!
A. C.
Hidden gem, nice artifacts to look at and Fatboy's nearby to have something to eat.
P. R.
Interesting corner of London that many people don't know about. Two great cafes, one of them an American diner.
Nice views out over the River Thames and the River Lea (this is where they meet).
Some rather random artwork scattered around, and some plaques showing the history. It's only a short walk to the old East India docks, a large and historic area, now a nature reserve, but was once the trade gateway to the British empire.
Parking around the area has now become completely impossible. Cycle or walk.
M. I. M.
It is historical heritage hub
There so old shipping equipment to see
New idea of construction of a building by shipping containers is diplayed.
a. p.
Great creative place loved The London cloth co.
K. M.
The cafe on site is very good. Nice staff and good food. The cafe is 5 star, however access to the site is very difficult. No parking on site and none on nearby roads.
H. W.
Nice sunset and O2 view
A. K.
The area is lovely and it's being developed. We popped into a small cafe next to the river.
M. H.
Great artsy place with a lot going on. A good historic site with lots of information and some great views
H. S.
Wonderful place very historical and great views across the Thames of the O2, good food in Fat Boys Diner
M. M.
A very nice place to have private event. The oldest clock tower etc.
S. S.
Visited on a sunny afternoon for lunch next to the river. Really great and was able to park for free. Food was a little slow, but pretty good.
H. S. R.
The cafe here is amazing
Friendly staff and great food
C. V.
Amazing 👏 ..The Orchard does the best breakfasts!! Pistachio Granola and smashed Advocado was yum!! Lovely staff too!
A. C.
Amazing venue, amazing view. A really friendly space to spend a summery day for an event or a party.
C. C.
Great place to look round with the main London lighthouse there which you can go in . 2 Good diners also and a very peaceful place to rest
C. “. C. C.
It's beautiful during the summertime right by the with very 2 unique cafe; a 50 style diner & countryside style cafe. It's just difficult to get to unless you know exactly where it is
R. W.
A mix of Trinity House history and creative industries. The pop up bar is perfect for a drink on the edge of the Thames. Lovely spot opposite 02
R. P.
Interesting and unique place tucked away in docklands, nice view of O2. Fatboy dimer is a must for lunch when visiting.
K. K.
Great place with lots to show and a wealth of history.
Don't pass up the opportunity to stop by if you're ever in the area. There's even parking so there's no excuse!
Have a wonder about and enjoy yourself. Lots of cool things to spot if you have your eyes peeled
T. S.
Lovely area to walk around. Very quiet.
P. H.
Great place to visit and partake of the local café's
I. A.
Beautiful place, so many fascinating art pieces. Definitely recommend, very peaceful with quite a few places for a drink or grab a bite.
J. K.
Beautiful view of the Emirates Cable cars, O2 and Canary wharf. There are couple of restaurants.
C. M.
Really cool place has an American diner and a british cafe with nice menus. Places to park and put your bike.
A. T.
Trinity Buoy Wharf has all the charm, character and space of a former buoy manufacturing site, in an exclusive London location.
] It lies within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The lighthouse no longer functions, but is the home of various art projects such as Longplayer. It is sometimes known as Bow Creek Lighthouse.
P. G.
Love the buoy wharf! There's a nice vibe to this place. You get a nice sea view with the O2 Arena right in front. There's three places to choose from if you want to sit and relax - The trinity cafe, The Fatboy diner and another cafe just under the car as you see in the image. I've seen many weddings take place here too and I guess it just makes for the perfect venue. Cut off from the city hustle bustle. There's also a primary school in the area called the Faraday Prep School
M. R.
Really cool artsy space with a cafe and diner
s. c.
Lovely views . Looking out on the Thames.
S. J. B.
In interesting little place. Recommend you climb up the step to the light top house.
M.
Decided to take a random ride into this place. It's quiet. Not much to do but it's really relaxing.
B. D.
Vibrant artistic space in London.Go and visit and u will be surprised. The only standing Lighthouse on Thames is on site.Enjoy :)
D. H.
Adapted well to social distancing. Food and drinks easily ordered via website on mobile phone. No need to register or sign up first, very smooth process. Tasty food with a great view of the O2 and the City.
R. D.
Fascinating place. Don't quite know how to describe it. A lot of empty space, a parkour academy, a fat boy American style diner, a cafe, all sorts of curious art installations and London's only lighthouse you can climb to the top and listen to a never ending music installation. See the mouth of the lea river. The place has quite a history and there is plenty to read there all about it.
P. G.
Amazing location, very unique
T. J.
Obviously alot closed during covid and it has lost most of it's original 'wharf charm' due to all the construction work going on around the wharf. Very different to my last visit but can't wait to revisit when everything is back open again.
T. G.
Very tasty sandwiches and good coffee
c. l.
Nice views of Docklands. Lots of work going on around here new buildings coming soon
R. W.
Great location on the river with panoramic views across to the o2 and Canary Wharf. The place has a nice vibe with some places to eat. Would like to return post Covid19
C. S.
Loved the art work in the shipping containers and also visited the light house listening to the song bowls playing.
P. S.
Rainy as you can tell from the photos, but still nice to look around and visit the lighthouse
I. A.
Beautiful place, so many fascinating art pieces. Definitely recommend, very peaceful with quite a few places for a drink or grab a bite.
V. N.
I think the pics speak for themselves 😍
D. K.
A really quirky funky place
K. V.

Wonderful artists community. Wonderful history. Perfect for the start of a walk or end of a walk.
M. I. M.
It is historical heritage hub

Love it!
T. O. (.
Really quirky, creative enclave hidden away in the Docklands. The little cafe has a black cab on the roof with a tree coming out of it. Worth checking out if in you're in the area to see the art displays.
J. H.
As a wedding venue this place is as good as it gets. Fantastic riverside setting with views of the Dome and the Cablecar. Versatile stylish space, inside and out. Even a lighthouse to explore and enjoy. Helpful admin team, obliging security staff. Expensive but worth it.
L. T.
Stumbled upon this place recently, never knew the lighthouse history etc. A great place to visit if you are into your art which I'm not, but still enjoyed my meal at the diner along with a coffee or three. Great views of the 02.
G. K.
If you are interested in historical hidden places you must visit the Trinity Buoy Wharf- this is where you will find out about sounds, metal work, electricity and spot lots of art work wherever you look. A great place for back to Victorian times adventure with your kids. Lots of things to spot and think about. Great place for unique views of London.
L. S.
It's a small area, quite but interesting in terms of landscape. An amazing views of O2 arena and nearest skyscrapers. Good food in local shops and an interesting art center.
i. p.
An historic place with information boards to tell you the full history. A bit run down at present because of the building work . An excellent coffee shop in an old container.
C. D.
An impressive art centre created from a number of repurpised pist industrial buildings with some modern additions. All to create a brilliant community space where artists can work in a suitable environment.
A lot of stuff here is done by volunteers hence best support them!
A great place just to walk around and / or stop for a coffee.
I. P.
TBW is one of those few remaining characterful corners that encompasses a snapshot of history from Faraday to the Thames - including a growing collection of historic working boats. A 'must visit' if you're in the area.
S. J.
Lots of arty stuff see and explore outside (mostly). Nice views over to the O2. Access to coffee meals at the café or grab a burger at the American diner. Be prepared for I've cold winds especially during winter though.
M. M.
Really great little spot that seems to be one of the Docklands best kept secrets. Very quirky with a couple of good places to grab a light bite. The cafe is perfect for a relaxed weekend brunch with plenty of diverse breakfasts to choose from.
d. d.
Lovely place place for a party and nice vie.
P. S.
Love this place great views of that part of London
H. W.
Sensational. Go. Several good things to see. Hard to find but easy to park at the weekend. Longplayer exceptional. Good cafe plus an American Diner ( not visited ). Terrific river views. Went in a sunny blue sky day...reckon it could be bleak otherwise. A gem!!!
J. S.
It's well nice there. Lovely sitting by the river with a beer, after a munch from the diner.
k.
Open air museum
H. P.
Ancient and modern side by side. Cafes, art, one of the oddest musical installations. The rivers are industrially picturesque (get down there before the start building up the far side of the Creek.
D. M.
Trinity Buoy is a little off the beaten track but well worth a visit! This wharf has London’s only lighthouse and historically was the base for the storage and maintenance of buoys used on the Thames, hence the name! The area was almost completely derelict as recently as 1998, but has been repurposed as a creative hub! This vibrant area includes sculpture, artists' studios, gallery spaces, rehearsal rooms, event spaces, cafes and a diner. We love this place and especially the buildings constructed from shipping containers!
M.
If you are in the area the wharf is worth a visit. There are notice boards with information about the history of the wharf. We were there on an open day and had the opportunity of trying a little stone masonary. There is an American style diner and a cafe.
R. P.
Wonderfully quirky former Buoy making facility, now become an arts centre. Features a range of great places to eat, fascinating sculptures and London's only lighthouse! Great views over to the O2 as well. Let's itself down by spoiling it's own views with truly ugly office buildings. Hopefully they will get replaced by something more fitting.
R.
Interesting discovery, artistic hub some cafes and dinner, I found it by chance while blind cycling around East London. Will definitely come back to see how the site evolves in the future.
R. B. -. E. k.
Such a good place to visit.
My special interest was the Michael Faraday exhibition they have there as he is a particular favourite inventor of mine.
Love the arts aspect and this is a sadly forgotten and often berated part of our infrastructure.
Very good for us as a Country to recognise the financial and social benefits a strong artistic culture brings to this Country.
There need to be more places like Trinity Buoy Wharf, very important and highly recommended to visit.
M. B.
The Riverside bar's now open till 10. Really well distanced, order drinks on webpage and collect a few mins later. Great setting for a sunset drink :)
D. P.
Went too a wedding tonight at the lighthouse it was great views spectacular
R. J.
Lovely place. Houses the Royal Drawing school Foundation ( one of the finest art foundation courses London) and quirky installations and an american diner cafe. Possible to get a boat across to the 02 arena ( big dome tent fir concerts etc, across river Thames)
K. V.
Lovely spot for a late afternoon beer in the sun.
C. P.
Quirky, fun area. A bit of a hidden gem. I was sad to see that Faraday's stuffed cat has disappeared from his hut!!
M. C.
Really enjoyed my visit as part of Open Day. Met the founder and other staff. Walked through sensory gardens. Saw art piece on loan from Damien Hirst. New beer bottle bar seeking a name. Number of activities happen here. Opportunities to volunteer. Historic photos showing how the women used to move coke to fire the power stations of London. Demonstrates the power of renovation in a very industrial area. Right on river and they hope for Lea Walkway to fully open up which would make a lovely canal walk.
C. C.
Ten minutes walk from Canning Town Station. Great arts centre and home of Long Player ( in the lighthouse). Good reasonably priced food and drinks available locally.
E. M.
Travelled here for a wedding, absolutely lovely views, bit tricky to find via walking, but there's plenty around: food, travel and sighs(O2). Enjoyed my day there.
J. M.
Spent the afternoon and evening at a wedding here. First of all the location on the Thames with the O2 on the opposite bank is pretty unique and made a brilliant location for a wedding ceremony and the party afterwards. Secondly it is a historic location with the Thames's only lighthouse and Faradays shed. Well worth a visit if you don't have a wedding to go to even better if you do!
E. F.
Interesting area stumbled upon accidentally when out for a bike ride. Home to an art school, American diner, lighthouse, lovely cafe overlooking the river, offices, large events space and a variety of brightly coloured container studios.
S. S.
Spectacular view! Very interesting history.
M. M.
Wonderful artists community. Wonderful history. Perfect for the start of a walk or end of a walk.
M. H.
What a great find. Hidden away but with lots of good stuff inluding London's smallest museum. God food available - good views. I alnost don't want to tell people about this place for fear it will get overrun.
B. G.
Fantastic venue personal for your individual requirements. The facilities were clean. The staff helpful. Had a gr8 time at the wedding of Mr and Mrs Onilude 26.8.17. The weather made it exceptional too 👍👍👍👍👍
J. H.
Not sure I'm really qualified to review this place, as I only really went to pick up a painting for a friend, but nonetheless I found this hidden away little artistic enclave quite interesting, and look forward to going back at some point for an exhibition.
The location is a bit awkward to get to - part of its appeal - the website recommends getting the tube to Canning Town and walking there, but I managed to get lost en route and it took my pretty much half an hour. Far better to get the little ferry boat service which runs regularly between North Greenwich Pier and Trinity Buoy Wharf - a mere £2, and it's quite a fun crossing in a decommissioned police boat. I think it may actually walk out quicker as well, as it's a short walk from there to North Greenwich tube station.
J. Y.
A quirky, arty, bohemian area of London, the Trinity Wharf area is worth a visit before it becomes commercialsed beyond recognition. Lots of historical information signs line the road leading to the wharf and they're present around the wharf itself. A lot of the original wharf buildings, the Farady experimental lighthouse, a couple of cafes, art installations, etc., can be seen, as well as container city, a development of studios and live/work spaces in recycled shipping containers. A great view of the river and the 02 dome to boot.
J. D.
Such an interesting and unique space.
K. J.
If you like discovering the less known London - this place is a must.
There is a lighthouse there which you can visit, few other art projects, lovely view of the O2, cafe and a Diner when you get hungry. And you can get a boat ride across the Thames to the O2.
R. M.
Great Cafe, rustic decor with relaxed atmosphere. Really nice in the summer without outside seating by the river. Staff are really friendly and the breakfast is the best in the area.
S. H.
Very nice place to hang out with friends/family and even a place where you can be in your own company
P. D.
Amazing, incredibly historical place and two lovely cafes on the site.
Faraday worshop, The old lighthouse, Lightship vessel ....the list goes on!
T. A.
Great outdoor Hospitality experience for a wonderful chill out day in the sunshine.
What are you waiting for?
c. s.
Nice place with not too many people walking around a two little cafes . A gym . Nice views careful where you park though also not alot of spaces not easy to get to without car
E. P.
It brings a touch of the past and modern today together, I personally found it very beautiful and artistic!
B. M.
Great views and surprisingly quiet place
A. R.
When its open be sure to check out Brian Eno's longest piece of music written up the lighthouse called the longplayer 👌
P. C.
The height of cool alongside practicality, artists studios and a 50's diner, amazing little secret quiet pocket of london including a very cool cafe some great history.
M. C.
A hidden gem full of interesting sculptures and unusual exhibits, the antithesis of the shopping mall. Great views of the river and plenty to explore in the area.
L. T.
Love this place, chainstore is here and therefore access to one of the most comprehensive fitness zones and movement classes in London if you want to try gym without the gym bunnies then if recommended this place
G. F.
I love this place: artists and working people mingling, good food and interesting things to see and places to explore. Great view, too.
R. G.
Nice little place to absorb the Thames opposite The O2. Can get little ferry to and from Greenwich (£2) and have a meal at the diner.
A. H.
Just a pleasant place to have a stroll, nice views of the river front
L. H.
I'm here frequently and this place is contantly changing! There's always something to do here, from seeing art exhibitions to eating some pancakes to just staring out over the beautiful views of the river and docklands.
C. G.
The Diner was closed but the Cafe was open for drinks and food.
J. A.
Went to Longplayer. Really enjoyed seeing the bowls and chilling in the listening point. Great views of the river and a good photo spot.
H. S.
Fantastic art work around the area with an American style diner. Despite being a small area it's well worth a visit.
A. L. W.
Eclectic, different, interesting and entertaining. Great place to wander through in the afternoon, giving you views of London you didn't expect
D. K.

D. B.
Great view and lovely cafe
S. H.
Nice short visit to the area. Has art installations around the wharf. Check the lighthouse opening times beforr you visit. Mainly just a working area.
C. M.
Far out arty creative dynamic, with light ships, trimarans, buoys, and shipping-container city. Associations with Michael Faraday and Gerard Manley Hopkins. Fat Boy Diner also in place.
J.
5 star cos it makes you feel like your not in canning town
L. “. l. L.
Lovely, intriguing little place with a great American diner. Will be back to visit again.
R. F.
Great place to go if you are looking for a different aspect of London. History, and interesting details on lighthouses, buoys etc. I would not have missed it.
a. p.
Amazing arts hub surrounded by the standard plague of overpriced new build flats for offshore foreign investment portfolios.
Hey ho.
E. C.
Lovely to explore. Wouldn't go out of my way to go there. Has the only light house in London which is interesting!
R. D.
Fascinating bit of London, off the beaten track. A number of small businesses intermingled with some unusual pieces of street art. The sonic tide indicator is intriguing.
D. w.
Basement venue is stunning but poorly served by amenities. Toilets are a let down for wedding venue and approach is not very appealing.
j. b.
A motley but not incongruous complement of studios, workspaces, galleries, museum?, a school, cafe, s-crap metal, a tidal clock, boats, what's-his-names and what-have-we-here's randomly scattered about here. Intriguing, baffling and worth the effort. Check it out.
P. R.
Lovely view of the O2 and a peaceful view of the river
V. N.
I think the pics speak for themselves 😍

M. T.
Interesting place with a museum and other things to see around the area, go before they get rid of the interesting old industrial seafaring buildings and replace them with generic boring expensive flats.
