J. B.Brilliant place if you like military history. Covers re-enactments from the 13th century to Vietnam. Very authentic and well put together. The trench experience was something else. (This is owned by the imperial War museum so is open all year round I believe but best check first). Well worth a visit. Lots of static exhibits run by very knowledgeable people. The battle re-enactments are very good. Walk round at yr own pace, bring yr own food and drink or partake at the many eating stalls. Best to go by car. The nearest railway station is Maidstone which is about 3 miles from the country park where the show is held.
d. j.Visited today(09/07/22) for the kent County show. Absolutely fantastic day out for all types of families. Entrance fee for an adult was £22 and definitely worth it. There was so much to do and see. Lots of food trucks as well. We had no issue navigating around the grounds. Just be warned ! Remember what entrance you use and what adjoining field your parked in as finding your car amongst thousands of others can be tricky.
O. F.Lots of free parking and also hosts my favourite annual military show.
I come here every year and it gets better and better. There's also travelling pubs here to buying alcohol is always a possibility. Traders and reenactors too.
Great host for a great event.
G. B.We attended the covid- scaled down Kent County fair. There was markedly less livestock but the entry fee reflected this.
Plenty of toilet facilities which were clean and well stocked. The showground itself was great, clean, tidy etc.
My kids enjoyed the hay bale maze.
The event was less impressive. We felt there were rather too many gimmicky stalls with pushy sales people selling single products. Not a very interesting range of stalls and we felt sorry as there were so many stalls selling chocolate brownies to a relatively small audience due to bad weather.
The Kent Young farmers weren't really interested in talking to the public. Heads down in phones mostly. There was one girl who was leaning against a cow, which was sitting down. She was lying against it eating a pack of crisps and telling children they weren't allowed to touch it because if it got up quickly it might hurt them. I thought that was quite hypocritical and unprofessional.
It was somewhere to go but a lot less enticing than usual.

M. M.The Delting show ground is well kept and managed. Didn’t have any issues getting in or out.
N. B.Attended The South East Koi Club Show. The building used for the show was very spacious, with toilet facilities. There was a burger van; ice cream van & drinks for sale. Plenty of parking space. Ideal.
D. M.We went to the Kent Garden Show, ab fab, well organised and friendly staff with a variety of stalls and amazing flowers, wooden carvings and other garden furniture
S. S.Great experience... Decent stewards... Needs more ester and coffee etc all round the place.. not mainly in one area....
Dropped one star due to leaving the place you must turn left then we sat in traffic going the wrong way for an hour... Only to get to a round a bout and then come back again
Desperately needs to be able to turn right out of the show ground..

S. D.Nice show but just had the feeling it was a little finely spread to what it used to be. High fuel prices could be keeping some entrants away, is my thought.
P. M.Kent gardening show, enjoyable, very well organised. Food outlets poor, most look as if the would be more at home in a 1970s seafront. Coffee no idea how in this day and age you can make a bad cup of coffee.

G. M.went to paws in the park. it was OK. not as good as other years.. expensive entry and expensive dog stuff.
M.Well organised events with free parking and plenty of it on grass so be prepared for soft ground on rainy days, normally special arrangements are made for wheelchair users to park on hard ground near to the event. Tarmac, level single lane roads crisscross the showground. Permanent structures are in the middle with undercover display areas with proper toilets, also brick built toilet block by the main area. Portable toilets are around the site. Plenty of food stalls selling hot and cold food and drink, plenty of seating too. We'll worth a visit, some good all day events all year round
J. C.We attended the 'Best Parties Ever' event for our Christmas do. It was extremely overpriced for what was quite frankly an average evening at best. Such a shame as we have been a couple of times in the past and really enjoyed it. This year, the prices have gone up and the service was extremely poor! What's happened!
The food was so late it left almost no time to party and was incredibly tasteless Nd average despite the fact it is meant to be award winning. The dessert was pretty much non existent. Very disappointed this year and very unlikely to come again.

A permanent tent was a great place to sit and enjoy a cuppa with entertainment thrown in. The toilet facilities were excellent.
Lots to see plenty to buy
D.Great family day out. Plenty of animals to see, some close up, and the displays are always good to watch. Some of the food on offer is a bit pricey but that's no different to any other year. Shame for us old ones there's no hip replacements on offer there. We"ll return again next year.
G. T.Went to the Kent Garden Show yesterday. A great day with lots to see and purchase for the garden. There are many displays and plants on show, including garden furniture, ornaments,tools etc. A great annual event. 😀

G. P.A lovely venue often used for local shows, it was my first time here this year exhibiting at the Kent county show and this place was great. Excellent grounds plenty or space and sunshine. Also the toilets on site were clean and well maintained.
Everyone that visited seemed to be having a great time and that's what matters.

E.The detling flower-show is an amazing day out for the family and avid gardeners a wide selection of plants from tomatoes to Japanese maple and a wide selection of herbs one thing that I would say is there was a lot of people there and the one way system and the stay to the left where not followed by many people and there was also a cloths section and a lovely selection of fruit and veg

E. J. (.I've only been here twice and both occasions were for an event. First time was for the Kent County show last summer and it was a lovely day out. Got plenty of sun. Was nice and clean and spacious. Second time was recently for a gin festival which was hosted on the indoor area. Also lovely venue.

J. J.Great Showground here at Detling. Was at the military Oddesey show last weekend and had a awesome time. Great facilities, clean toilets and decent showers. Bar facilities are good. The only downside is the price of the food on the stalls it was quite expensive so I would bring your own food and drink if your here for the weekend.

j.Was at the Kent flower show it was fantastic purchased Acer Trees off Broadway Road Nurseries the best Acers I ever bought I would recommend this flower show to anyone there's something for all and take a look at Broadway Road Nurseries Acers you you would be Amazed at the the size the quality and the price,

S. A. P.Great place for all types of shows and exhibitions, including farms, animals, tools and antiques. Plenty of fresh air on site as you are very high up. Lots of free parking.

M. T.A nice place to go to for the royal Welsh but only if you got plenty of money very expensive to go in and everything you look at is costly and just make sure you take your own food don't get caught
