Stunning venue, with a team dedicated to making your day as special as it can be. Truly beautiful grounds, excellent service level. Although food could certainly be improved, but to be expected with banqueting I guess. The wedding day was superb and would certainly recommend the venue to future wedding couples.

Absolutely amazing grounds, everything stated in the website lived up to our expectations. Tremendous trees, wonderful, tranquil waters and if you are around to eat the food is phenomenal. Thanks so much for hosting us and giving my sister a wedding we will all remember.

Superb venue, nice historical building, well decorated, large open space and well manicured gardens. Can't fault it! However felt the wedding food was a real let down. Perhaps it was down to the package choosen but it was more party finger picking food. Servicec was a bit slow. Drinks on table but no water. Later found out there was a single jug of water for the entire hall at the bar! Should have had water on each table. No cuttlery provided so had to eat food with hands. Napkins were small and flimsy and with sticky fingers they didn't perform well. Think if you allowed outside cateres it would it would open up a whole new revenue stream and it would certainly be a place I wouldn't hesitate to book for a wedding.

Gorgeous wedding venue near to Maidstone. So much scope for photos as well as multiple locations for the ceremony. My favourite spots are around the lake and the Lapa area. Ideal for couples to take five and have a wonder around the grounds. They are a great team and always make me feel welcome. Will be back this year and looking forward to it already! 5*

A lovely place for a wedding. It lost a star because it isn't air conditioned and with such a venue you would expect the best. It was extremely hot with no fans available! The staff were very good and attentive to the wedding guests needs during the evening reception.

They went above and beyond to make our day special and helped to organise all aspects of the planning. Could not have done it without them. We had our wedding at the Orangery in September 2022. It was one of the best days of our lives, and we owe a large part of that to the venue and the staff. Firstly, the venue is stunning. I remember the first moment we walked in via the gate in the wall, it honestly took our breath away. The gardens are huge, meticulously kept, and have beautiful and interesting water features and pathways throughout. Secondly, the packages the Orangery present are inclusive, upfront and honest. Catering, evening food, DJ, table wine, welcome drinks, were all costed and included in the price which made planning so much simpler. Everything provided was of consistently high standard - in particular, every course of the wedding breakfast was delicious and the DJ took the time to compile and play all our obscure requests without reverting back to 'stock wedding playlists' (our greatest fear). Kate, Vicky, Bryony and the team were thoughtful and responsive leading up to the day, leaving no question unanswered. When last minute changes to the guest list had to be made and meal choices redistributed, this was arranged with minimal fuss on the user-friendly Sonas system. Our coordinator on the day was Bryony, and she was utterly superb. She wasn't afraid to get involved in the setting up; helping us move heavy plants, drowning in a sea of our table name cards, carrying the wedding dress train, all whilst juggling the back and forth weather conditions we had on the day. The whole team used walkie talkies to communicate, which made for a seamless transition from each phase to the next. Thank you so much for an amazing day. All our guests were extremely complimentary and I would not hesitate to do it all again. Highly recommended.

Wow, what an incredible venue. It was incredibly beautiful, and one of the best places around to have your wedding. Especially in the gorgeous sunshine! I visited here for a wedding, and honestly, it was an incredible day. the location, the atmosphere, the surrounds and the buildings are out of this world. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the melt in the middle chocolate pudding. Making 50+ of them, all coming out perfectly cooked at once? Spectacular. There was a great drink selection and all very fairly priced, especially for the area, I was expecting it to be much more expensive! The staff were very helpful and extremely kind and friendly, always going out of their way to help you. (I did notice quite a few guests dropping glasses unfortunately, but the staff appeared out of nowhere almost instantly to clean it up so that no one got hurt. Great job).

I cannot recommend The Orangery highly enough. Everything was perfect, literally my dream wedding. The staff go above and beyond and work so hard to make your day wonderful. Most of our contact was with Bryony, Kate and Vicky. All three ladies were brilliant, I knew we were in safe hands. Bryony was our assigned coordinator and I could not have been more happy. She is a lovely young lady who was very friendly, helpful and professional. Bryony is a true asset to The Orangery. Our communication was great from the start and the Sonas system is fantastic. There no denying how stunning this venue is! The grounds and buildings are beautiful. We considered other venues, but nothing came close to The Orangery. Our big day went off without a hitch. The food was amazing, the bar and wait staff were lovely and worked so hard and our DJ was absolutely fantastic! I could not have wished for anything more, it truly was the most amazing day. Our guests were blown away and we’ve had wonderful feedback from everyone. Can’t thank you all enough. You’re an amazing team and you’re doing everything perfectly. I’m honoured to be an Orangery bride. 🥰

I cannot explain how wonderful our day was at The Orangery (not without happy crying anyway). We had a magical day, everything ran like smooth clockwork, the sun was shining and we couldn't be happier. Kate was lovely, supporting and sorted any niggles (there really weren't many) immediately. I couldn't recommend the The Orangery and Team Kate, Bryony, Vicky, Mike and all of the staff higher. A perfect day, we wish we could do it all over again!

My wife and I got married at The Orangery in mid July this year, and everything about it was superb. All the way through the planning process the staff could not have been more helpful and were always willing to answer our seemingly endless questions. The day itself was something we will never forget and our wedding coordinator, Bryony, ensured that everything kept to time and ran smoothly. The food was great and the opportunities for photos in the gardens are amazing. We cannot recommend highly enough!

Very pretty place to get married. I was only a guest but the gardens were lovely. It was raining the day of the wedding which was a shame as the inside place to get married...Nowhere near as nice as it would have been getting married outside. Food choices...not overly great- you couldn't choose starter main or desert, it was just what you were given. The portions weren't very big either...rather than coming round putting more on the table it was literally...here's your plate and that's it. Bit of a let down especially when you're still hungry after. And I'm not a big person in any way at all! Drinks prices were very expensive which as a guest is very annoying... bride and groom pay thousands to have a wedding there and yet they still want to charge £5-6 for a vodka and coke... or £6 for a Peroni... I've been to many venues including my own wedding and shorts were £2.50 with mixer and £3 for a pint. Overall it's pretty yes...but not worth the money.

Part of historic Turkey Mill and set in grouunds with gardens, lakes and streams is a very popular venue for weddings. The Orangery is a seperate building set apart from main buildings and has everything needed for an excellent stage for events and hospitality. Has dedicated parking. Staff are professional and friendly.
